Singer Adele had a dramatic reaction to spotting her delivery doctor in the crowd during a Las Vegas residency performance at Caesars Palace on Saturday night.
The incident occurred while the 35-year-old singer was in the middle of performing. Adele was dressed as Morticia Addams, a fictional character from the Addams Family franchise, for Halloween while singing “When We Were Young.” The Grammy Award winner can be seen mouthing “Shut up!” in between lines of the song, and also said, “Oh my God, Colin! Oh my God! This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby!”
“I haven’t seen you for years!” she said as she stopped the song and rushed off the stage and started crying.
She then gave the doctor a hug. “Sorry,” she told the audience. “Will you sing it for me? That man delivered my baby!”

Adele’s only son, Angelo, was born in 2012. She broke up with the boy’s father, Simon Konecki, in 2019, and they officially divorced in 2021.
In 2022, she appeared on The Graham Norton Show and said she’d love to have a second baby soon. She told viewers of the hit BBC show, “I want a baby next year.”

Adele has been dating sports agent Rich Paul since 2021, though the two have been keeping the status of their relationship private even as fans speculate that they’re secretly married. Paul responded to those rumors in October 2023, telling Gayle King on CBS Mornings, “We’re in a good space. Happy.”
“She’s superb,” he added. “We’ve been great for each other.” The Klutch Sports Group CEO went on to say he’s “not the type of person” to dish about his personal life with the media.
Adele previously referred to herself as a “homemaker” and “matriarch” during an August 2022 interview with Elle, saying, “a stable life helps me with my music.” She also told the outlet she wanted more kids, saying, “I definitely want more kids.”
“I’m not engaged,” the “Hello” singer told Elle during the same interview. “I just love high-end jewelry, boy!” she said of a ring she wears.
“I’m not married,” Adele added. “I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.”
