Adele said she’s been spending time in her son’s classroom at school, which causes her to get nervous despite the fact that his classmates don’t care how famous she is.
The 35-year-old singer discussed what’s going on in her life right now during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published Thursday. Adele said she’s been spending more time at her 11-year-old son Angelo’s school, including the time she made 60 chicken kebabs for his class.
“I’m thriving a bit,” the Grammy Award-winner explained. “Now there are so many things that his school does the most, with community vibes, which is fantastic. The kids don’t care. The kids don’t give a flying f***who I am.”
She continued, “And I get, not insecure, but I get nervous around loads of adults and strangers that I don’t know. And so making food for school events, it’s my dream.”
Adele shares Angelo with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki. The recording artist is currently in a relationship with celebrity sports agent Rich Paul.
The “When We Were Young” singer has been vocal about her desire to have more children. “I really want to be a mom again soon,” Adele told the audience at one of her Las Vegas residency shows in October.

“I’ve actually been writing lists,” she said. “So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
In 2022, the singer told Elle magazine that she is intent on expanding her family. “I definitely want more kids. I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music,” she said at the time.
In 2016, Adele indicated that she’d quit her career if it ever started affecting her personal relationships.
“All of my relationships are more important to me than any tour I’ll ever do,” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “If my relationship … with Angelo started to flounder a bit now, I would pull out of my tour.”
She continued, “My life is more important to me than anything I’m doing because how the f*** am I supposed to write a record if I don’t have a life? If I don’t have a real life, then it’s game over anyway.”
