Twenty-two-year-old Jazz Jennings recently seemed to express dissatisfaction with his life post-gender transition, which began at the startling young age of 3.
Jazz’ transition was initiated by his parents and promoted by the mainstream media. By age 3, the biological boy was living at home as a girl, and by 4 1/2, Jazz was treated as a girl both inside the home and outside the home. The child’s fifth birthday party was swapped by the family to become a transgender coming-out party.
“You know I can’t get out of my head. It just doesn’t stop,” an emotional Jazz told mother Jeanette Jennings during an episode of the family’s reality TV show on TLC, “I am Jazz.”
“It’s okay,” Jeanette told Jazz. “I know what you’re going though. We’ve been there before.”
“No,” Jazz shot back. “It still doesn’t stop, now — I’m still going back to negative.”
“The more you’re talking about yourself, it gets harder,” Jeanette reasoned. “It’s making you put a magnifier glass on what’s already difficult as it is, so this is hard for you.”
“I’m the one doing it,” Jazz blamed himself.
Jeanette agreed, telling Jazz, “You’re your own worst enemy.”
“I just want to feel like myself, that’s it,” an emotional Jazz pleaded. “All I want is to be happy and feel like me, and I don’t feel like me, ever.”
The tragic moment aired in March, and quickly gained attention online.

Jazz seemed to react to the response during his activism for so-called transgender rights. “I am transgender and I am proud,” the activist said. “All my parents did to support me was listen to me and love me. No one forced me to be here, and my identity as a woman was never placed upon me.”
Jazz added that being put on hormone blockers at age 11 saved his life, and “continue to save the lives of so many youths out there.”
“I’m living proof that gender affirming care is necessary,” Jazz claimed.

When Jazz was just a child, Jeanette and her husband Greg Jennings boasted about transitioning Jazz, ironically claiming they made the decision to save their child from being “depressed,” adding, “What child should have to suffer?”’
But as The Daily Wire has chronicled, Jazz has had serious issues after having transgender surgery, which started when he was still a minor. The reality TV star has had numerous “corrective” surgeries and has expressed the inability to experience sexual pleasure.
“Jazz as a medical case is really a conundrum because her puberty was blocked so well that she didn’t get growth of her genitals in a way that allows us as a surgeon to use a conventional approach,” said surgeon Dr. Marci Bowers. The surgeon is a biological male who identifies as female; he was featured in Matt Walsh’s “What is a Woman?” documentary defending trans surgeries for minors.
“The orgasm. The Big O,” Jazz said during a doctor’s appointment with Bowers, TLC captured. “There hasn’t been much change. My libido’s still basically nowhere.”
“Jazz does not know what an orgasm is and it’s very important when expressing intimacy,” Bowers responded. “And although it is not something that’s going to delay surgery, it’s not going to be any easier for her to have an orgasm after surgery.”
Jazz has also publicly struggled with depression and serious weight gain.
Though Jazz has not explicitly denounced his transition, many others who underwent similar experiences are speaking out post-detransition.
A teenager named Layla Jane, for example, is suing a health care company and the doctors who put her on controversial puberty-blocking drugs at age 12 and removed her healthy breasts in a double-mastectomy surgery when she was just 13 years old, accusing them of “intentional fraud and concealment.”
Layla claims in a letter of intent to sue that she was rushed into the life-altering medical services while she and her family were not properly informed of risks and other vital information, such as the rate of desistence for childhood gender dysphoria.
Chloe Cole, another detransitioned 18-year-old woman, announced in February the first official lawsuit in the U.S. against the same health care group, which, too, facilitated her medical gender transition as a minor.
Detransitioner Helena Kerschner has said that when she was 15-years-old, “lonely,” and dissatisfied with her body, she got “sucked into gender ideology online.”
“My school encouraged me and I was easily prescribed a high dose of testosterone at 18, and it was very damaging,” she said online last year, using the hashtag “DetransAwareness Day,” adding, “This is not rare.”
