<p>On Monday, the online forum 8chan went offline when the company Cloudflare, which creates software that protects 8chan from cyberattacks, yanked its support, according to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/tech/el-paso-8chan-offline">Fox News</a>, which added that Cloudfare took action at 3 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince issued a statement calling 8chan “a cesspool of hate.” Fredrick Brennan, the creator of 8chan, who had <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/50228/founder-8chan-after-mass-shootings-shut-site-down-hank-berrien">publicly called</a> for 8chan to be shut down, thanked Cloudfare on Twitter:</p>
