Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy posted an update on Tuesday, sharing what he said would be his final comments on the saga that unfolded after patrons at his bar in Center City, Philadelphia, ordered bottle service and paid for a sign that said &#8220;f*** the Jews.&#8221;
Following the incident, Portnoy said that he spoke to the student who&#8217;d uploaded video of the sign to Instagram — Mohammed Adnan Khan — and initially, he&#8217;d been apologetic and tearful. Rather than ruin a college student&#8217;s life, Portnoy offered to send him to Auschwitz in the hopes of turning a hateful incident into a learning experience.
Over the next couple of days, the Barstool founder shared several updates — and ultimately revealed that he&#8217;d revoked his offer after Khan backtracked and claimed he had no connection to the antisemitic sign. By Tuesday, Khan had gone a step further.
Portnoy began his update with a post on X advertising a crowd-funding page — that he said was more fitting for a satire site like The Onion or The Babylon Bee — in which an apparent friend of Khan requested people send money to help him &#8220;stand against trial by public opinion&#8221; and support his &#8220;fight for due process and redemption.&#8221;

Portnoy then shared Khan&#8217;s video statement — which he used to promote his GiveSendGo page — in which the now-suspended Temple University student complained that Portnoy had &#8220;sensationalized&#8221; the incident and he had done nothing more than document someone else&#8217;s behavior. Khan argued that the sign &#8220;reminded people of a lot of the unjust things that Israel is doing around the world,&#8221; and for that reason he&#8217;d felt compelled to &#8220;report on it.&#8221;
Khan went on to complain that the sign was just &#8220;an edgy joke&#8221; and claimed that he was being made into a victim of cancel culture.
Portnoy was not buying it, however, and he shot back, &#8220;This dude is a flat liar. I talked to him on the phone with his buddy and they both owned up to it and cried about it. He then lawyered up after speaking with his family. His name got out because he’s a moron and uploaded &#8216;F*** the Jews&#8217; sign to his instagram before I even knew about it. He already went viral without me.&#8221;
&#8220;He spreads hate and uses the conflict in Middle East as his excuse. And did it in a bar with my company&#8217;s name on it. Now he’s trying to profit from it. I’m sure he’ll make money because there is lots of antisemitism in the world. Regardless this is the least surprising thing ever,&#8221; Portnoy continued. &#8220;He is the definition of a coward. But the drama did not end there. Portnoy followed with a video response to the GiveSendGo page for Khan — which, at the time of publication, had not even raised $1000 — and a video clip that he said was Khan throwing water on a sleeping homeless person.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy turned an ABC News interview on its head when a reporter from Philadelphia affiliate 6abc suggested that he and his company — and white men in general — were truly the ones at fault after patrons held up a sign that read &#8220;F*** the Jews&#8221; at his bar in Philadelphia.
Portnoy, who is Jewish, shared a video on X detailing the incident and saying that after the story about the sign went viral, numerous outlets had reached out to him to talk about it. He agreed, and was talking to a reporter from 6abc when the whole thing went sideways and he caught the entire exchange on video.

Portnoy explained that he&#8217;d been happy to do the interview initially, but that the outlet had pulled a &#8220;bait and switch&#8221; by pitching one reporter and then having a different reporter do the interview. The new reporter had then blindsided him with a quote claiming that Barstool Sports had created a &#8220;culture of harassment&#8221; and was therefore responsible for the hateful sign displayed by patrons — and things only went downhill from there.
&#8220;Then she shifts. Then she does what a media scumbag does,&#8221; Portnoy said. &#8220;She&#8217;s like, well, she pulls a quote out of her a** from like, I don&#8217;t even know, a made up journal?&#8221;
Portnoy cut to video from the actual interview then.
&#8220;Here&#8217;s who I would say is causing that type of environment: all these colleges who let Jewish kids get harassed on campus 24-7. I&#8217;ve been speaking out about this since it started. So these professors, I&#8217;d love to know — first of all, that sounds like a made up — I don&#8217;t know what that quote is,&#8221; Portnoy said to the reporter, asking where the professors were from.
The reporter pushed back, suggesting Portnoy was wasting time by asking for background information, but eventually revealed that the quoted professor was at the University of Virginia.
Portnoy then challenged the reporter directly, asking, &#8220;Who&#8217;s creating more hate right now in the world, would you say Barstool Sports and white men or college campuses?&#8221;
After a long pause, Portnoy clarified, &#8220;That was a question to you.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m a journalist, I&#8217;m asking the questions,&#8221; the reporter protested.
&#8220;I don&#8217;t play by those rules. What does that mean, you&#8217;re a journalist?&#8221; Portnoy shot back. &#8220;I&#8217;m a journalist. I run a big media organization. I just asked you a question &#8230; I asked you a question, you answer the question. You answer the question.&#8221;
The reporter continued to object: &#8220;You&#8217;re not running this interview.&#8221;
&#8220;All right, then, the interview is over,&#8221; Portnoy said, closing his laptop.
Cutting back to his direct video format, he added, &#8220;This piece of s***. ABC, the person who set it up, gave me one reporter, bait and switch to the other. F*** ABC! F*** ABC! … I forgot how much I hate f***ing journalists. This f***ing piece of s***!&#8221;

&#8220;&#8216;I&#8217;ve been shaking. I&#8217;ve been so mad for the last two hours. Like I instantly got on, this is why the Emergency Press Conference is late, because I was so over the top,&#8221; Portnoy, who is Jewish, said in the video, explaining that before even taking to social media to address the situation, he had done everything he could to track down everyone responsible for allowing it to happen.
&#8220;I&#8217;m gonna f***ing make it my life f***ing mission to ruin these people. Like, I&#8217;m coming for your throat. I&#8217;m never ending,&#8221; he continued, saying he&#8217;d spent the last two hours &#8220;on the trail&#8221; digging up as much information as he could.

Portnoy went on to reveal that he had tracked down and fired the two waitresses who held up the sign, referring to one of the two as &#8220;one of the dumbest f***ing humans I&#8217;ve ever talked to in my life,&#8221; and that he had spoken to a Temple University student who he said was responsible for posting a since-deleted video of the sign via Instagram.
Saying that he&#8217;d had &#8220;the kid&#8221; in tears and swearing that he was not antisemitic, Portnoy added, &#8220;I don&#8217;t buy it for a second. Who the f*** would do that sign in my f***in bar? You think I&#8217;m just gonna sit here? I&#8217;m gonna make it my mission to put you in lights. Tell me how do I make this right before I go ape-s**t. You want to take anti-Semitism classes? You want to do whatever? You make it feel right. Leftist Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner could be in trouble after he suggested last month that President Donald Trump and his supporters should be “punched in the face as hard as possible.&#8221; 
The Republican Party of Pennsylvania told The Daily Wire on Monday that it asked the Justice Department to investigate Krasner over his March suggestion that Trump and his supporters were “fascists” who needed to be “punched.” Krasner, a George Soros-backed district attorney who implements lax-on-crime policies, is running for a third term as Philadelphia’s top prosecutor. 
“Violence and threats are never acceptable, but they are particularly egregious when used as a political tool targeting the President of the United States of America and his supporters,” Pennsylvania GOP Chair Greg Rothman wrote to the Justice Department, according to a letter first shared with The Daily Wire. “The safety of President Trump, Republicans, and the integrity of our American republic rely on threats like District Attorney Krasner’s being investigated and, if appropriate, punished to the fullest extent of the law.”
The letter to Eastern District of Pennsylvania U.S. Attorney David Metcalf said that Krasner should be investigated for making a “potential criminal threat” against Trump during a March 25 <a href="https://www.cityandstatepa.com/personality/2025/03/q-philadelphia-district-attorney-larry-krasner/404028/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with City &amp; State Pennsylvania.
During that interview, Krasner compared Trump and his supporters to the Nazis. 
“Trump likes crime. Fascists like crime. Right-wing Republican MAGA people like crime and they like it because it gins up a crisis that doesn’t have to be, which allows them to scapegoat different groups of marginalized people so they can eliminate our rights. This is a very old playbook,” Krasner said, before adding that he knew a “hell of a lot” about World War II. 
“This is all stuff close to me, and I know exactly where we need to be with this one: loud, proud, standing up and in their faces,” he said. “These are fundamentally fascists, and it will not do us any good to try to appease them. They are bullies who need to be punched in the face as hard as possible, and that is the only way that all the people around us who are so frightened will understand they can stand up, too.”
Rothman wrote that those comments should be seen in the broader calls for violence against the Trump administration and Elon Musk and his efforts with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). 
“Violent threats against President Trump, Republicans, Mr. Musk, DOGE staffers, and others have been rampant across the country recently. The clear intent of those doing so is to aid those intending to commit acts of violence,” Rothman wrote. 
The letter cited promises from interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin to investigate threats made toward Musk and members of DOGE, and urges Metcalf to take similar action. 
The last few months have seen a string of attacks targeting Tesla, including firebombings and acts of vandalism. “Political violence is never the answer — not in our communities, not in our campaigns, and certainly not from those sworn to uphold the law,” the Pennsylvania GOP told The Daily Wire. “The words of District Attorney Larry Krasner weren’t just reckless, they were dangerous. When the top prosecutor in Philadelphia suggests that the President of the United States and his supporters should be ‘punched in the face,’ it’s not just political rhetoric, it’s a threat.”
While Krasner easily won his last two general elections in the deep blue city, he currently faces a primary challenge from Patrick Dugan, a former judge who is running on a law and order platform.

College wrestling champions rallied around President Donald Trump during the 2024-25 NCAA wrestling championships on Saturday.
The president entered the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday evening around 7 p.m. in Philadelphia to loud chants of &#8220;USA! USA! USA!&#8221; The tightly-packed arena erupted in to chants as Trump entered, according to pool reports, and Trump waved his hand and pumped his fist in response.
The president sat in the front row of the event to watch the wrestling matches take place. Photos and videos captured by attendees, including White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, show the wrestling competitors posing for photos with the president.
One of these photos shows Trump pretending to wrestle Nebraska wrestler Caleb Smith, who beams for the photo next to the president. In a separate video, Penn State&#8217;s Carter Starocci shakes hands with the president after winning his 5th NCAA D1 Wrestling Championship.
Leavitt also posted a video of an unnamed wrestler shaking hands with Trump while wearing a &#8220;dark MAGA&#8221; hat, captioning her video: &#8220;Win National Championship. Throw on your dark MAGA hat. Shake hands with your favorite President.&#8221;

The president will fly back to the White House on Saturday evening. He was joined at the event by Travis, Leavitt, former WWE executive turned Education Secretary Linda McMahon, Republican Pennsylvania Sen. All reports thus far indicate that the shooting was unrelated to the Eagles&#8217; event and only happened in the vicinity by happenstance.
Fox News Digital shared a statement directly from the Philadelphia Police Department concerning the shooting:

The victims have been identified as a 27-year-old Hispanic female, who suffered a gunshot wound to her left leg, and a 20-year-old Asian female, who was shot in the upper left thigh. Both victims were transported by medics to Presbyterian Hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition
At this time, no crime scene has been located, and no weapon has been recovered. Police have not made any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department.</blockquote>

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/philadelphia">Philadelphia</a> Democratic Mayor Cherelle Parker pleaded to residents ahead of this Sunday’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/super-bowl">Super Bowl</a>, urging fans to tone down their celebration antics if the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/philadelphia-eagles">Eagles</a> are victorious.
“Please Philadelphia, I implore you, as your mayor, do not climb light poles,” she said at a press conference on Thursday night. 
The request comes a little less than two weeks after the Eagles clinched the NFC Championship, leading to huge celebrations across the city that resulted in an 18-year-old Temple University student dying after falling from a light pole. The police department issued 31 citations for disorderly conduct and failure to disburse, per the <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/02/06/us-news/philly-mayor-begs-eagles-fans-to-act-civilized-if-team-wins-super-bowl/">New York Post</a>.
“For your mayor, please, just don’t climb onto anything, OK? That’s our Golden Rule,” Parker added, using a stern tone. “This comes up every time we have an outdoor celebration after our Philly teams win,” she said. “We do not want anything to happen to you, your friends, or your family members.”
Officials did not confirm if they would be greasing the city’s light poles to deter potential climbers ahead of Sunday’s game, which they did two years ago when the Eagles were in the Super Bowl.
The Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Chiefs hope to make Super Bowl history with a “three-peat” win, while the Eagles will attempt to redeem themselves after losing to the Chiefs 38 &#8211; 35 at Super LVII in 2023. 
Mayor Parker made headlines last month after she <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/philadelphia-mayor-misspells-eagles-chant/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">misspelled</a> the word &#8220;Eagles&#8221; while leading a chant at a pep rally. 
She said, &#8220;E-L-G-S-E-S, Eagles!&#8221; instead of &#8220;E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!” leading to mass mockery online. 
Parker tried to laugh it off later at a press conference, saying, “We don’t promise perfection, I’m so happy I never have, especially after I couldn’t spell Eagles right.”

An 11-year-old patient and her 31-year-old mother were among the six people who were killed when their medical jet crashed in a residential area in northeast Philadelphia on Friday night.
Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, the company that owned and operated the Learjet 55 aircraft, identified the victims in the crash as Capt. Alan Alejandro Montoya Perales, Copilot Josue de Jesus Juarez Juarez, Dr. Raul Meza Arredondo, Paramedic Rodrigo Lopez Padilla, patient Lizeth Murillo Ozuna, and the patient&#8217;s mother, Valentina Guzman Murillo, CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/philadelphia-plane-crash-victims-identified-medical-jet-company/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. All of the victims were Mexican citizens.
A person who was in a car when the Learjet 55 plummeted into the ground like a missile was also killed, but authorities have not yet identified that victim.
The 11-year-old patient and her mother were returning to Mexico after receiving treatment for a life-threatening condition at Shriners Children&#8217;s Hospital. The small jet had arrived in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon after departing from Florida earlier in the day. It was then scheduled to make a stop in Springfield, Missouri, before flying to Mexico, according to CBS News.
Officials said that after the medical jet departed from Philadelphia, it made a slight right turn and a slight left turn. It then went on a steep descent before it crashed, resulting in a massive fireball. According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the jet crashed less than a minute after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport.
Authorities found the jet&#8217;s black box buried at the &#8220;site of initial impact, at a depth of 8 feet.&#8221; Officials also found the aircraft&#8217;s enhanced ground proximity warning system, which will be sent, along with the black box, to NTSB investigators in Washington, D.C.
Multiple people on the ground were injured after debris flew into buildings and damaged homes in the area. Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker said on Sunday that 22 people were injured, with three people in critical condition. The city&#8217;s managing director, Adam Thiel, said there remains &#8220;a lot of unknowns about who was where on the streets,&#8221; adding that the casualty figures could get higher, according to the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/philadelphia-plane-crash-medical-transport-8617dab53471190832dd73db149489fa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Associated Press</a>.

A plane crashed into a neighborhood in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/philadelphia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Philadelphia</a> on Friday night, leaving multiple homes on fire.
ABC 6 Action News reported that the plane was a &#8220;small plane,&#8221; although no specifics were given about the number of people on board or the type of aircraft.
The crash happened in an area in the north-eastern part of the city just shortly after 6 p.m.
The report said that the plane appeared to hit &#8220;several buildings and cars in the area&#8221; and that multiple casualties have been reported.

The man was captured on video calling the female <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nfl">Packers fan</a> an “ugly dumb c**t.” Her fiance, Alexander Basara, initially shared the footage on X, writing in the caption, “What it&#8217;s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team&#8230;Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy&#8230;. this is not okay.”
“I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team,” he added.
In the video clip, Basara is heard telling the fan to stop calling his fiancée crude names. 
“She’s an ugly, dumb c**t,” the Eagles fan replied. “You gonna do anything? Shut the f*** up and watch the game.”
The woman doesn’t interact with the man or seem to respond much besides making a sarcastic “boo hoo” gesture.

The video went viral on X, with more than 25 million views as of Tuesday morning. Most people in the comments, including Eagles fans, have condemned the behavior. 
“Coming from an Eagles fan, I’m sorry. We’re not all like this &amp; I’m disappointed no one around him stepped in to say anything,” one person replied.
“Lifelong Eagles fan here. And previous season ticket holder. I can tell you that MY husband would have stuck up for YOUR fiance! Yes, as an Eagles fan. Most of us aren’t that guy,” another said.
The man was quickly identified online, and social media users started reporting him to NFL officials and to his place of business, which was a management consulting firm called BCT Partners. The company has a stated aim &#8220;to provide insights about diverse people that lead to equity.”

The New Jersey-based company issued a <a href="https://x.com/bctpartners973?lang=en">statement</a> on the incident, writing that it had been “made aware” of the video and “had already begun a full investigation” into the employee’s conduct. 
“As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the behavior displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values. … We sincerely apologize to everyone affected by this behavior and remain committed to fostering a culture of respect for all,” the statement said.
NFL reporter Derrick Gunn <a href="https://x.com/RealDGunn/status/1879003944867057816">shared</a> on X that the Eagles fan was banned from attending Eagles games for life due to his conduct. 
He wrote in a post on Monday night, “Here&#8217;s an update &#8230; Big Dom [DiSandro] has identified the guy and woman involved in this incident .. the guy will be banned from future Eagles games .. the eagles will be sending the woman packers gear as an apology .. Eagles once again showing what a class organization they are.”
The Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers 22-10 during Sunday’s showdown. They face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for the NFC divisional round of the playoffs.

Children&#8217;s Hospital of Philadelphia is one of the top offenders in the United States when it comes to irreversible sex change procedures for children, according to a digital campaign launching Tuesday.
The hospital, known as &#8220;CHOP,&#8221; boasts that it is the first United States hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. It has programs devoted to helping children explore and attempt to change their gender — and according to the advocacy group Do No Harm, the hospital is &#8220;leading the nation&#8221; in offering &#8220;life-altering sex related interventions for minors.&#8221;
Do No Harm is targeting CHOP with a <a href="https://youtu.be/fzBuwH1630Q?si=uvyU_Cw64f3PCw00">new digital campaign</a> that will make Philadelphia parents aware of the hospital&#8217;s devotion to gender ideology. The campaign also includes a video that discusses how much money CHOP has made from child transgender interventions and urges the hospital itself to &#8220;stop the harm.&#8221;
“Our campaign shines a light on CHOP and Admiral Levine’s collusion that helped shape Pennsylvania into one of the nation’s most prolific promoters of sex change treatments for children,&#8221; Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, the chairman of Do No Harm, told The Daily Wire. &#8220;By embracing experimental and irreversible sex changes for minors, CHOP has violated its primary duty to do no harm and to provide the highest medical care.&#8221;
&#8220;We hope to provide patients and families with the resources they need to learn the truth about CHOP’s politicization of medicine enabled by powerful ideologues like Admiral Levine and former Governor Tom Wolf,&#8221; he added.

The video notes that in 2008, CHOP started a progressive health policy think tank that ultimately became the CHOP Gender Clinic, and in 2015, former Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf appointed a man who identifies as a woman, now Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine, as the general physician for Pennsylvania.
&#8220;Together, Wolf and Levine engaged activists across the state, empowering CHOP to continue its self-proclaimed gender care for minors, even visiting schools for weekly referrals,&#8221; the video warns. &#8220;The reality? Children were prescribed puberty blockers and underwent sex change surgeries. CHOP&#8217;s actions have since altered hundreds of children&#8217;s and family lives forever.&#8221;
It continues: &#8220;CHOP went so far as to train their staff to hide information about children&#8217;s perceived gender identity and coerce parents into supporting these irreversible sex changes while Levine was successful in securing millions in taxpayer dollars to cover the costs.&#8221;
According to Do No Harm&#8217;s data, CHOP <a href="https://stoptheharmdatabase.com/state/pennsylvania/">has written</a> 768 prescriptions for children &#8220;undergoing sex-related interventions,&#8221; administered hormones and puberty blockers to 117 patients,  and performed sex-change surgeries on five minors, forever altering these children&#8217;s bodies and lives. The hospital has submitted $230,784 in total submitted charges.

CHOP is not the only hospital in Pennsylvania that is focused on these types of interventions for children. Do No Harm&#8217;s database notes that Penn State Children&#8217;s Hospital has had 10 minor sex change surgery patients, and the UPMC Children&#8217;s Hospital of Pittsburgh has had four.
Throughout the state, many more patients are accessing so-called &#8220;gender-affirming care.&#8221; According to Do No Harm, the state has had 814 total sex change patients, and over $5 million in total submitted charges.
CHOP did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
