A massive cargo ship owned by an Israeli billionaire was reportedly the victim of an Iranian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/terrorism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">terrorist</a> attack on Friday in the Indian Ocean.
The Jerusalem Post <a href="https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-775041#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">noted</a> that the news was first reported by the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen channel, which is affiliated with the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah.
The Malta-flagged CMA CGM SYMI cargo ship was targeted by a triangle-shaped, bomb-carrying Iranian Shahed-136 &#8220;kamikaze&#8221; drone while in international waters, a senior U.S. defense official <a href="https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2023-11-25/an-israeli-owned-ship-was-targeted-in-suspected-iranian-attack-in-indian-ocean-us-official-says" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> the Associated Press.
The official said that the U.S. believes the attack was carried out by Iran&#8217;s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRCG), a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) that is comprised of the hardline faction of Iran&#8217;s military.

CMA CGM SYMI is owned by Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping, which is ultimately controlled by Israeli businessman Idan Ofer.
“The attack is likely to have been targeted, due to the vessel’s Israeli affiliation through Eastern Pacific Shipping,” the private intelligence firm Ambrey told the AP. “The vessel’s AIS transmissions were off days prior to the event, indicating this alone does not prevent an attack.”
The attack came less than a week after Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen seized the Bahamas-flagged Galaxy Leader cargo ship in the Red Sea, which was leased to a Japanese company from a British company that is partially owned by an Israeli businessman.
Numerous heavily armed fighters jumped off a helicopter onto the ship, taking its 25 crew members hostage—none of whom were Israeli citizens.

President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration allowed the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/iran" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Islamic Republic of Iran</a> to have access to more than $10 billion in electricity revenues, which comes just weeks after Iranian-backed terrorists carried out one of the worst terrorist attacks in world history against Israel.
The decision to allow Iran, the world&#8217;s leading state sponsor of terrorism, to have access to the money has generated intense criticism since the money will likely go toward funding terrorism either directly or indirectly, since money is fungible.
“Five weeks after the October 7 massacre and in the wake of 55 attacks on U.S. forces since October 17, the idea of making $10 billion available to the sponsor of all this evil makes little sense,&#8221; said Richard Goldberg, a former Trump administration official and senior adviser at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD).
&#8220;Congress rightfully pushed to lock down the $6 billion in Qatar; it should move quickly to lock down this $10 billion too,&#8221; he added.
FDD noted that Iran sends Hamas $100+ million per year and gives another $700+ million a year to Hezbollah, an Islamic terrorist organization based in Lebanon that is considered to be the world&#8217;s most powerful non-state actor.
Hezbollah recently attempted to carry out terrorist attacks against Jews living in Brazil, but was thwarted after Israel&#8217;s intelligence services <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israels-mossad-foils-iranian-backed-terrorist-attack-against-jews-in-brazil" target="_blank" rel="noopener">alerted</a> federal law enforcement officials in Brazil.
The Wall Street Journal reported last month that 500+ terrorists with Hamas were <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hamas-terrorists-received-combat-training-from-irans-quds-force-in-weeks-leading-up-to-attack-on-israel-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">trained</a> by Iran&#8217;s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force (IRGC-QF) in the weeks leading up to the October 7 attack.

Many of the weapons used in the attack are believed to have been supplied by Iran, and CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/14/politics/document-iran-hamas-weapons/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> this week that a document recovered from a computer found inside a Hamas truck &#8220;shows a Hamas military commander requesting a scholarship for Hamas operatives to study engineering, physics and technology at universities in Iran.&#8221;
An Israeli intelligence official said that the document was another example of “an elaborate puzzle of a deep infrastructure of building, supporting, financing and training terror proxies by the Iranian regime around the globe and specifically in the Gaza strip.&#8221;

FBI Director Christopher Wray, speaking before Congress, warned that Hamas and other terrorist organizations might exploit the Israel-Hamas war to conduct attacks in the United States.
“In a year where the terrorism threat was already elevated, the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level,” Wray stated. “Since October 7 we’ve seen a rogue’s gallery of foreign terrorist organizations call for attacks against Americans and our allies. Hezbollah expressed its support and praise for Hamas and threatened to attack U.S. interests in the Middle East. Al Qaeda issued its most specific call to attack the United States in the past five years. Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula called on jihadists to attack Americans and Jewish people everywhere. ISIS urged its followers to target Jewish communities in the United States and Europe.”
“Given those calls for action, our most immediate concern is that individuals or small groups will draw twisted inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks here at home,” he warned.
“On top of the so-called lone actor threat, we cannot and do not discount the possibility that Hamas, or another foreign terrorist organization, may exploit the current conflict to conduct attacks here on our own soil,” he stated. “We have kept our sights on Hamas and have multiple investigations into individuals affiliated with that foreign terrorist organization. And while historically, our Hamas cases have identified individuals here who are facilitating and financing terrorism overseas, we continue to scrutinize our intelligence to assess how that threat may be evolving.”
He noted Iran and other Islamist terror groups were also a threat as he continued, “But it’s not just Hamas; as I highlighted for this committee in my testimony last year Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, has directly or by hiring criminals, mounted assassination attempts against dissidents and high-ranking current or former U.S. officials, including right here on American soil.”
“Or take Hezbollah: Iran’s primary strategic partner, which has a history of raising money and seeking to obtain weapons here in the United States,” he noted. “FBI arrests in recent years also indicate Hezbollah has tried to seed operatives, establish infrastructure and engage in spying here domestically, raising our concern that they may be contingency planning for future operations in the United States. And while we are not currently tracking a specific plot, given that disturbing history, we are keeping a close eye on what impact recent events may have on those terrorist groups’ intentions here in the United States.”

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched precision airstrikes against Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon over the weekend in response to what appears to be a continued gradual escalation of fighting along Israel&#8217;s northern border.
Israel&#8217;s strikes against Hezbollah thus far have been purely defensive in nature and are only in response to attacks launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist group.
&#8220;Among the targets struck were military infrastructure used by Hezbollah to direct its terrorist activity,&#8221; IDF said in a statement. &#8220;In addition, IDF soldiers struck the terrorist cell that opened fire toward the area of Dovev in which a number of civilians were injured. Furthermore, a short while ago, a terrorist cell launched a number of mortar shells toward northern Israel. The IDF struck the cell, as well as an additional terrorist cell in the area of Yarin in southern Lebanon.&#8221;
IDF continued to hit Hezbollah targets with artillery fire throughout the day in response to numerous mortars that the terror group fired at Israel.

Israel has evacuated tens of thousands of civilians from more than two dozen towns along its northern border in anticipation that Hezbollah could ramp up attacks and open a second front against Israel as it hunts down Hamas terrorists inside Gaza who were responsible for the October 7 massacre.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned Hezbollah over the weekend that it would be making a &#8220;grave mistake&#8221; by escalating attacks against Israel that will drag all of Lebanon into a war.
&#8220;What we are doing in Gaza we know how to do in Beirut,” Gallant said. “Our pilots are sitting in the cockpit, the noses of the planes are pointing north. We have enough to do in the south, but the Air Force is facing north and its power is very great. We haven&#8217;t even used 10% of the IAF&#8217;s power in Gaza.”
The U.S. has deployed two aircraft carrier strike groups in the eastern Mediterranean to make Hezbollah think long and hard about the repercussions it faces if it launches an all-out assault against Israel.

Gallant&#8217;s remarks come as many IDF officials have started to believe that war against Hezbollah is inevitable.
Former Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz told Fox News in 2021 that Hezbollah has hundreds of thousands of rockets, a significantly larger quantity than the number possessed by Hamas, and that Israel has already pre-sighted numerous targets throughout Lebanon where the rockets are located.

Israeli Prime Minister <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/benjamin-netanyahu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Benjamin Netanyahu</a> said in a speech on Saturday that Israel&#8217;s war against Hamas would continue at &#8220;full force&#8221; and that nothing would stop the country as it tracks down and kills every member of the terrorist group.
Netanyahu made the remarks at a press conference with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Minister Benny Gantz at the Kirya in Tel Aviv.
The remarks come as Israel enters its sixth week of war against Hamas after the Palestinian terrorist group murdered 1,200 Israeli civilians, wounded 5,300, and took more than 240 hostage.
&#8220;The war against Hamas-ISIS is advancing at full force and it has one goal – victory. There is no substitute for victory. We will eliminate Hamas and bring back our hostages,&#8221; he said. &#8220;IDF forces have completed the encirclement of the city of Gaza. They are operating in the heart of the city and are on the outskirts of Shifa Hospital. They have eliminated thousands of terrorists including senior commanders and arch-murderers who were among those involved in the terrible massacre on the cursed Saturday of October 7.&#8221;
Netanyahu said that Hamas has lost control of the northern Gaza Strip and that it has no place to hide as Israeli forces hunt them down.
&#8220;From Sinwar to the last terrorist – all of Hamas are dead men,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Our forces are attacking them above ground and underground. We will continue at full force, at full strength, until victory.&#8221;
He added that Israel was also prepared to wipe out Hezbollah in Lebanon if the Iranian-backed terrorist group escalate their attacks on Israel. He noted that Israel is also striking terrorist targets in Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, Syria, the Red Sea, and elsewhere.
&#8220;The return of our hostages is a main goal of the war,&#8221; he said. &#8220;This goal is the top priority for me and my colleagues here. The Mossad added that it continues to work around the clock to stop terrorist attacks against Jews and Israeli nationals &#8220;wherever necessary, by various methods.&#8221;
Brazil&#8217;s Federal Police confirmed the news, saying in a <a href="https://www.gov.br/pf/pt-br/assuntos/noticias/2023/11/policia-federal-deflagra-operacao-para-prevenir-atos-terroristas-no-pais">statement</a> that they conducted an operation &#8220;interrupting preparatory acts of terrorism and obtaining evidence of possible recruitment of Brazilians to carry out extremist acts in the country.&#8221;
&#8220;Federal police officers served two temporary arrest warrants and 11 search and seizure warrants, issued by the Judicial Subsection of Belo Horizonte, in the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo and the Federal District,&#8221; the statement said. &#8220;Recruiters and recruits must respond for the crimes of forming or joining a terrorist organization and carrying out preparatory acts of terrorism, whose maximum penalties, if added together, reach 15 years and 6 months in prison.&#8221;
Brazil said that crimes are considered heinous in nature and thus are &#8220;considered non-bailable, ineligible for grace, amnesty or pardon, and the sentence for these crimes is initially carried out under a closed regime, regardless of whether the conviction becomes final.&#8221;

Top U.S. Senators said over the weekend that they are introducing a bipartisan resolution calling for military strikes against Iran if its terror proxies in the Middle East kill any U.S. soldiers or if Hezbollah opens up a second front against Israel.
Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) made the remarks during a CNN interview Sunday morning with Dana Bash on &#8220;State of the Union.&#8221;
The segment comes after Hamas murdered 1,400 Israelis in an unprecedented terrorist attack last month and Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group in Lebanon, has conducted small scale attacks against Israel as it weighs whether to launch a full-scale attack.
&#8220;It basically says, if the war expands, if Hezbollah opens up a second front in the north against Israel in a substantial way to overwhelm Iron Dome, then we should hit the Islamic Republic of Iran,&#8221; Graham said. &#8220;There is no Hamas without the Ayatollahs&#8217; support. There is no Hezbollah without the Ayatollahs&#8217; support. The great Satan in the region is not Israel or the United States. It&#8217;s Iran.&#8221;
Graham said that he and Blumenthal just came back from the region and that Israel had begged them to deter Iran from entering the war as they deal with wiping out the Hamas terrorist organization inside Gaza.
&#8220;If any of our troops are killed in Syria and Iraq by Iranian-backed militias, I think that&#8217;s an expansion of the war,&#8221; Graham said. &#8220;So, the resolution puts Iran on notice that all this military force in the region will be coming after you if you expand this war by activating Hezbollah or killing an American through your proxies in Syria and Iraq. And they need to hear that. They need to believe that.&#8221;
Graham&#8217;s remarks come after there have been at least 31 attacks from Iranian-backed terrorists on U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria over the last two weeks, according to a <a href="https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/escalating-militia-attacks-on-u-s-troops-risk-washington-tehran-confrontation-f2308361">report</a> from The Wall Street Journal.

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/state-department" target="_blank" rel="noopener">State Department</a> issued a travel advisory on Saturday morning urging Americans to leave <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lebanon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lebanon</a> amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. 
The warning comes amid threats from <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hezbollah" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hezbollah</a> leader Hassan Nasrallah <a href="https://apnews.com/article/hassan-nasrallah-hezbollah-hamas-israel-cf7d6969db43e5d902580546ac4e4c22">to escalate</a> military actions against Israel. Israel has been sending targeted strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon as Hezbollah has fired rockets at Israeli troops. 
“The [State Department] recommends that U.S. citizens in Lebanon leave now while commercial flights remain available due to the unpredictable security situation,” the State Department <a href="https://twitter.com/TravelGov/status/1720806408306729066" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> to X. 
Americans were also told to have “a plan of action for crisis situations that does not rely on U.S. government assistance. The best time to leave a country is before a crisis, if at all possible. U.S. military-assisted evacuations of civilians from a foreign country are rare. There is no guarantee the U.S. government will evacuate private U.S. citizens and their family members in a crisis situation.”

The U.S. Embassy in Lebanon <a href="https://lb.usembassy.gov/security-alert-u-s-embassy-beirut-november-4-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">echoed</a> the State Department&#8217;s advisory, telling Americans to leave the country and to have plans to leave “that do not rely on the U.S. government.”
Last month, the U.S. <a href="https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/lebanon-travel-advisory.html">issued</a> a “Level 4: Do Not Travel” advisory on for Lebanon because of increased Hezbollah terrorist and criminal activity.
On Friday, Nasrallah <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hezbollah-leader-calls-u-s-great-satan-insists-israelis-committed-gruesome-massacres-of-jews-not-hamas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gave a speech</a> that took aim at the U.S., calling it “The Great Satan,” and blaming America for the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, which started after Hamas launched a surprise terrorist attack on October 7.
“We must establish this fact,” he declared. “The United States is totally responsible for the war raging in Gaza… It is the United States, proving once again, as described by [former Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah] Khomeini, it is the greatest Satan, the great devil.”

In the days following the Hamas attacks on Israel, the Israel Defense Forces <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israeli-military-says-it-has-neutralized-terrorists-who-crossed-in-from-lebanon-amidst-hamas-attacks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that it had “neutralized a number of terrorist infiltrators” who had crossed from Lebanon into Israel.
The remarks come after the IDF said it had reports of suspected terrorists entering Israel from Lebanon. 
“A report was received regarding the infiltration of a number of suspects into Israeli territory from Lebanese territory. IDF soldiers are deployed in the area,” the military said, <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-military-says-deploying-against-possible-infiltration-lebanon-2023-10-09/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to Reuters. The crossing was reportedly near Adamit, a city in northern Israel near the border with Lebanon.

U.S. Citizens Told To Leave Lebanon Amid ‘Unpredictable Security Situation’

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah gave a speech to his followers on Friday in Lebanon in which he declared that there was no outside involvement from other governments in the Hamas massacre of Israelis on October 7, called the United States “The Great Satan,” and made the incredible claim that the Israeli themselves were the perpetrators of the horrific, gruesome actions taken by the forces of Hamas.
“From the very first hours, it was clear that the enemy was lost &#8230; you know it was the Sabbath, perfect timing by the commanders,” said Nasrallah, bragging that the attack took place on the Jewish Sabbath.
Speaking of the Israelis, he continued, “It took them hours to come out; they came out in hysterical state, angry and in insane fashion.&#8221;
He then claimed that the atrocities committed by Hamas had actually been perpetrated by Israelis, stating &#8220;That’s why when they had to recapture the settlements within Gaza envelope, they perpetrated massacres against the Israeli settlers. Not Hamas.”
Nasrallah insisted that outside governments or entities were not involved in the Hamas massacre, saying, as Al Jazeera <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsvgLuIaDgs">translated</a>, “Al Aqsa Typhoon was 100 % Palestinian in terms of decision and execution. The secrecy in which the entire operation was shrouded proves that it is a totally Palestinian for the sake of Palestine and the people of Palestine. And it has no relation at all to any international or regional issue. &#8230; the decisions of the resistance factions are in the hands of their own leader.”
Speaking of Iran, which funds his terrorist group as well as Hamas, Nasrallah insisted, “They do not exercise any form of authority or mandate on these factions or in their command.&#8221;
“No doubt it was a brave, heroic, creative, perfect, massive operation commended at all fronts and at all levels,” he celebrated, calling the slaughter of Israeli citizens, including women and children, a “glorious operation.”
He then said the United States was ultimately responsible for Israel&#8217;s counteroffensive against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

U.S. intelligence is stating that the Wagner Group, the Russian paramilitary organization, may try to give an air-defense system to the terrorist group Hezbollah, situated on Israel’s northern border, according to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/world/russias-wagner-group-may-provide-air-defense-weapon-to-hezbollah-u-s-intel-says-37dc8f45" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Wall Street Journal.</a>
The Russian SA-22 system can fire antiaircraft missiles and air-defense guns.
“Wagner has personnel in Syria, where Hezbollah fighters have also been present,” the Journal noted.
Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah <a href="https://www.haaretz.com/2008-02-24/ty-article/nasrallah-israel-to-be-destroyed-within-years/0000017f-dc6a-df62-a9ff-dcffb0490000" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in 2008 that “Israel will be destroyed in a few years.&#8221; In 2020, he <a href="https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/khamenei-says-israel-will-not-survive-628946">said</a>, &#8220;When Khomeini declared Al Quds Day in 1979, it was a culmination point of his personal struggle against Israel, which he began addressing in 1960. Khamenei was restating the position of Najaf and Qom regarding Palestine, a position that remains a consistent position until the present. This position is that Palestine from river to sea must be liberated. Israel has no legitimacy to exist at all and must be destroyed.&#8221;
Russian and Hezbollah forces fought together to support the Assad regime in Syria. In November 2018, the U.S. Department of the Treasury <a href="https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm553" target="_blank" rel="noopener">noted</a> that the Iranian regime, working with Russian companies, was supplying millions of barrels of oil to the Syrian government led by the Assad regime, which then facilitated the movement of hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars (USD) to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF) for onward transfer to HAMAS and Hezbollah.
A <a href="https://home.treasury.gov/sites/default/files/136/alchwiki-letter.png" target="_blank" rel="noopener">letter</a> to a senior official at the Central Bank of Iran confirmed $63 million had been sent to benefit Hezbollah, the Royal United Services Institute, the world’s oldest and the U.K.’s leading defense and security think tank, <a href="https://rusi.org/explore-our-research/publications/commentary/hizbullah-and-russias-nascent-alliance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> last May, adding:

In late October, Nir Barkat, Israel&#8217;s Minister of Economy, warned Iran that Israel would strike back if Hezbollah entered the war. He said that not only would Israel &#8220;eliminate Hezbollah,&#8221; Israel would &#8220;actually target Iran&#8221; and &#8220;wipe them out.&#8221;
&#8220;The plan of Iran is to attack Israel on all fronts. If we find they intend to target Israel, we will not just retaliate to those fronts, but we will go to the head of the snake, which is Iran,&#8221; he <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12657495/Israel-attack-against-Iran-Hezbollah-joins-war-Hamas.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. &#8220;The Ayatollahs in Iran are not going to sleep good at night, we are going to make sure they pay a heavy price if, God forbid, they open the northern front.&#8221;

Hezbollah founder Subhi al-Tufayli said in a video that recently surfaced from last month that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was a traitor for not launching attacks against Israel as Israel targets Hamas terrorists inside Gaza.
The segment, which was flagged and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), comes after Hamas murdered 1,400 Israelis, wounded 5,300+, and kidnapped approximately 240 people in an unprecedented terrorist attack last month.
&#8220;Khamenei, you are a servant!&#8221; Al-Tufayli yelled on his YouTube channel. &#8220;You are an enemy of Allah and His Messenger! You are the killer of Muslim children. Al-Tufayli wanted Iran to give the orders to its terrorist proxy groups throughout the region to launch attacks against Israel to stop them from rooting out the terrorists inside Gaza.
&#8220;The price paid in Syria and Iraq – hundreds of thousands were killed by you and your allies in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. If only you paid some of this price in Palestine.&#8221;
