The district attorney who refused to seek the maximum sentence for Laken Riley’s killer is one of three Soros-backed prosecutors to lose re-election this month.
District Attorney (DA) Deborah Gonzalez of Georgia’s Western Judicial Circuit, who made headlines for her soft treatment of convicted murderer Jose Ibarra, lost her re-election to challenger Kalki Yalamanchili by over 75% of the vote. 
Gonzalez was an active member of the organization Fair &amp; Just Prosecution (FJP), a Leftist advocacy group funded by billionaire George Soros, which dictates both the public policy and private staffing of prosecutorial offices around the country.
FJP’s efforts to hijack American justice were detailed in <a href="https://mrcfreespeechamerica.org/blogs/business/tim-kilcullen-joseph-vazquez-tom-olohan-dan-schneider/2024/08/12/law-dis-order-how" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Media Research Center’s August exposé</a>: “How The Soros Machine Directs and Controls Prosecutors Across America to Implement His Leftist Agenda.”
Gonzalez was joined in defeat by fellow FJP members including Los Angeles County DA George Gascón and Alameda County DA Pamela Price. Gascón and Price were two of the last three remaining members of another Soros group, the censorship-obsessed Prosecutors Alliance of California, which worked closely with Governor Gavin Newsom to push an anti-police and anti-free speech agenda.
Gascón, one of the founders of Prosecutors Alliance, lost to challenger Nathan Hochman by <a href="https://results.lavote.gov/#year=2024&amp;election=4324" target="_blank" rel="noopener">over 600,000 votes</a>. Similarly, Prosecutors Alliance member Price lost her recall election by <a href="https://www.kqed.org/elections/results/alameda" target="_blank" rel="noopener">over 30%</a>. Their defeat has dealt a crushing blow to the organization and the Soros Machine backing it. Contra Costa County DA Diana Becton remains, and is arguably now <a href="https://www.sfchronicle.com/politics/article/diana-becton-prosecutor-da-19895432.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">California’s most radically Left-wing prosecutor</a>.
Ibarra, a Venezuelan national released into the United States by the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security (DHS), beat Augusta University nursing student Laken Riley to death on February 22 of this year. Gonzalez chose not to pursue the death penalty, even though Ibarra had also attempted to rape Riley in broad daylight and had previously been charged with assaulting a child. Ibarra was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-jose-ibarra-found-guilty-of-killing-georgia-nursing-student-laken-riley" target="_blank" rel="noopener">convicted of Riley’s murder</a> on November 20, just weeks after Yalamanchili’s victory.
Gascón, who was previously San Francisco DA, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20240507003211/https://www.thenation.com/article/society/prosecutors-alliance-california/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">created the Prosecutors Alliance of California in 2020</a> with Cristine Soto Deberry, a Marin County politician and Newsom’s former deputy chief of staff. The Prosecutors Alliance, which was backed by the Soros-funded Tides Advocacy, was designed to be a far-Left replacement for the California District Attorneys Association (CDAA), which Gascón had <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20240507003731/https://theappeal.org/politicalreport/george-gascon-leaves-californias-district-attorney-association/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">very publicly quit</a>. 
In August 2024, the Media Research Center (MRC) <a href="https://mrcfreespeechamerica.org/blogs/business/tim-kilcullen-joseph-vazquez-tom-olohan-dan-schneider/2024/08/12/law-dis-order-how" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published detailed communications</a> between the Prosecutors Alliance members showing their <a href="https://cdn.mrc.org/static/pdfuploads/Soros+Report_Law%26DisOrder.pdf-1723647180299.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">close relationship</a> with Newsom and FJP. FJP pressured the Alliance’s members to sign pledges vowing to refuse to enforce certain laws that ran afoul of leftist political positions.
In one instance, FJP got Prosecutor Alliance attorneys to pledge that it was a “<a href="https://cdn.mrc.org/static/pdfuploads/CommsBrady-List-Sign-On-Release-FINAL.pdf-1719622302665.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">prosecutor’s obligation</a>” to create blacklists of police officers who would not be permitted to testify in court — thereby undermining the officers’ careers. To implement the blacklist for Los Angeles County, Gascón’s director for ethics has been accused of <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/los-angeles-da-aide-arraigned-on-improper-confidential-law-enforcement-records-use-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">illegally accessing private county personnel database files</a> to obtain the records of “over 1,600 statutorily-protected peace officer files” — a serious crime for which she was indicted.
Gascón was sued separately for over $1.5 million for retaliation against attorneys who objected to his unlawful order that they not pursue prosecutions under certain California “criminal cases involving minors, including his blanket ban on trying juveniles as adults,” <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/los-angeles-da-aide-arraigned-on-improper-confidential-law-enforcement-records-use-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to the Los Angeles Times</a>. The lawsuit was successful.
The Prosecutors Alliance successfully lobbied the California State Senate to pass a police censorship bill which mandated that elected prosecutors who accept campaign contributions from organizations supporting law enforcement (including unions) give up their authority to prosecute police officers. Had the censorship bill been enacted, police would effectively have been forbidden from using their own money for political advocacy against the millions in propaganda against them.
When the California State Assembly refused to pass the Prosecutors Alliance’s censorship legislation, the group’s attorneys lobbied the state bar association to bypass the legislature and impose the speech restrictions via their own byzantine internal procedure.

The Prosecutors Alliance’s members were Gascón, Price, Contra Costa County DA Diana Becton, San Francisco City &amp; County DA Chesa Boudin and San Joaquin County DA Tori Verber Salazar. Berkeley, Long Beach, Glendale, Los Angeles, Oakland, San Francisco and Stockton were among the many cities under the Prosecutors Alliance attorneys’ jurisdiction.
In 2022, Boudin lost his recall election and Verber Salazar <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/los-angeles-da-aide-arraigned-on-improper-confidential-law-enforcement-records-use-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lost her primary re-election bid</a>. Becton’s term is set to expire in 2026, but she may be <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/los-angeles-da-aide-arraigned-on-improper-confidential-law-enforcement-records-use-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">removed from office early</a> via a recall election.
Remaining Soros prosecutors like Becton face a new foe in tech entrepreneur Elon Musk. Musk has pledged to use his patriotic advocacy group America PAC to further combat Soros’s influence over America’s justice system.
“Something has to be done to kind of counter the damage that Soros has done to the American system,” Musk pledged in an <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/los-angeles-da-aide-arraigned-on-improper-confidential-law-enforcement-records-use-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">election day video</a> uploaded to his social media platform, X. “America PAC&#8217;s going [t] aim to weigh in heavily on the midterms and intermediate elections, as well as just doing common sense stuff like having DAs who prosecute violent criminals who are obviously a danger to people.”

A party in North Philadelphia descended into <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/philadelphia-shooting-jessup-cumberland-oct-19/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">chaos</a> earlier this month when a juvenile boy fired off 50 rounds, injuring seven people and leaving one 16-year-old girl in critical condition. At one point in time, stories like this were unthinkable. Then, they were rare. But now, incidents like this are routine in Philadelphia. 
Rather than facing this human suffering head-on, Philadelphia progressives are desperate to spin a different narrative about crime in their city. With an election just around the corner, <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/news/2024/07/29/crime-in-philadelphia-plummeting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">headline</a> after <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/crime/gun-violence-crime-rate-philadelphia-2024-20241008.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">headline</a> after <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/crime/inq2/gun-violence-philadelphia-2024-shootings-20240617.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">headline</a> is touting that crime is down. 
District Attorney Larry Krasner earlier this year <a href="https://whyy.org/articles/violent-crime-philadelphia-falls-2024-larry-krasner/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">predicted</a> “the largest reduction in violent crime in recorded history in the United States.” And Vice President Kamala Harris has been <a href="https://www.nbclosangeles.com/decision-2024/crime-rate-statistics-trump-harris-biden-fact-check/3540700/?os=vbkn42tqho&amp;ref=app" target="_blank" rel="noopener">adamant</a> that crime rates have declined during her administration. For its part, the Philadelphia police department is <a href="https://www.phillypolice.com/crimestats/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claiming</a> a 40% year-to-date decrease in homicides in 2024 and a 42% reduction in shootings.
As the City’s website readily admits, however, these crime data are “preliminary,” which means they will likely be revised upward as the year continues. And they may even be even edited retroactively, as the FBI <a href="https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2024/10/16/stealth_edit_fbi_quietly_revises_violent_crime_stats_1065396.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recently did</a> for national crime statistics to cover up how unsafe America’s streets have become. 
Regardless, is the narrative true that Philadelphia has begun to solve its crime problem?
Unfortunately, it’s not. While the short-term decrease in crime during an election year might seem encouraging, the reality is that it isn’t indicative of real change. Violence in Philadelphia is still at historic highs.
To understand why, some perspective is in store. 
From 2013 to 2017, Philadelphia <a href="https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/rogue-prosecutors-and-the-rise-of-crime/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">averaged</a> 271 homicides per year. But then something happened. From 2018 through 2023, there was an average of 457 per year. Black people represented 83 percent of those victims. The same drastic jump in crime applied to shooting incidents, which increased from a five-year average of 1,047 per year to 1,588 per year. And aggravated assault while armed with a handgun, went from a five-year average of 2,209 per year to 3,116 per year. And retail thefts, which went from a five-year average of 7,412 per year to 9,084 per year. And auto theft skyrocketed from a five-year average of 5,691 to 8,665 per year.
So, what happened in 2018? 
Larry Krasner happened. He was elected as the 26th District Attorney of Philadelphia, thanks in part to $1.7 million in <a href="https://whyy.org/articles/soros-weighed-in-with-even-more-money-in-das-race/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">funding</a> from progressive billionaire George Soros. At the time, Vice President Kamala Harris also vocally <a href="https://x.com/kamalaharris/status/864870584823533568" target="_blank" rel="noopener">supported</a> Krasner, calling his victory “key to criminal justice reforms like rolling back mass incarceration and ending cash bail.”
Unfortunately for the citizens of Philadelphia, Harris was right. Krasner’s policies would reflect the pro-crime agenda of his radical benefactor and lead to a <a href="https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/rogue-prosecutors-and-the-rise-of-crime/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">massive increase</a> in crime which has completely transformed the city. 
On his first day in office, Krasner fired 31 experienced violent crimes prosecutors, who he <a href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/tv/story/2021-04-20/philly-da-larry-krasner-pbs-review" target="_blank" rel="noopener">viewed</a> as “ticks.” Then, he pursued new radical <a href="https://phillyda.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/DAO-New-Policies-2.15.2018.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">policies</a> such as making retail theft of less than $500 worth of goods a petty crime, <a href="https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/12/philadelphia-district-attorney-larry-krasner-criminal-justice-reform.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">instructing</a> all his assistant district attorneys to stop seeking bail on low-level charges, and <a href="https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/12/philadelphia-district-attorney-larry-krasner-criminal-justice-reform.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lowering</a> charges for first- and second-degree murderers. 
These policies <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/news/2019/11/23/larry-krasner-criminal-justice-reform/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">earned</a> Krasner the affectionate title “Uncle Larry” from Philadelphia’s criminals. And unless Uncle Larry is removed from office, Philadelphia’s improved 2024 crime numbers will prove to be what they are: an election year illusion and an embarrassment when put in their proper historical perspective.

It doesn’t have to be this way. The people of Philadelphia should be able to live in a safe city, and not just during presidential election cycles when radical Democrats like Kamala Harris are trying win their vote. 
Thankfully, the solutions are simple, and conservatives are ready to deliver them. So are some moderate Democrats who already work in the city. Mayor Cherelle Parker, who <a href="https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/philly-mayoral-election-2023/cherelle-parker-crime/3568885/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ran</a> directly opposed to Kamala Harris’ progressive orthodoxy on crime and called for the city to hire hundreds more police officers, is a good example. So is Police Chief Kevin Bethel, whom Parker appointed in January. 
Since becoming the city’s top cop, Bethel and his officers have <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/kevin-bethel-philadelphia-crime-rate-kensington/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">implemented</a> a curfew in high-crime areas, cracked down on people driving illegal ATVs and dirt bikes, and removed long-standing encampments. Conservatives and public safety advocates have been advancing all of these are commonsense policies for years.
Bethel attributes some of his success to collaborating with “federal partners” such as “ATF and DEA and FBI and Homeland Security.” But all Bethel’s good police work won’t count for anything if Krasner continues to let criminals off the hook. And the collaboration he counts on could end abruptly if Vice President Harris is elected and implements her “defund the police” agenda. As she <a href="https://www.wsj.com/opinion/kamala-harris-still-aims-to-hold-police-back-violent-crime-federal-control-law-enforcement-f6201bb5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">explained</a> recently on “The Breakfast Club,” she supports the federal government playing a bigger role in setting local policing rules, restricting certain police tactics, and getting rid of qualified immunity for Philadelphia cops.
To prevent horrific shootings like the one that occurred earlier this month and permanently put a stop to crime in their city, Philadelphians need to see beyond short-term statistics and recent headlines and place the blame where it belongs: with progressive Democrats like Larry Krasner and Kamala Harris trying to take credit for reducing crime rates that their radical policies caused to spike in the first place.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, a far-left Democrat who was backed by Democrat megadonor George Soros, filed a lawsuit on Monday to stop Elon Musk&#8217;s $1 million a day giveaway to people who signed a petition with his America PAC.
America PAC states that one winner is being chosen daily in one of the seven swing states if they sign the PAC’s petition pledging their support for the First and Second Amendments.
“America PAC and Musk are lulling Philadelphia citizens – and others in the Commonwealth (and other swing states in the upcoming election) – to give up their personal identifying information and make a political pledge in exchange for the chance to win $1 million,” the lawsuit claims. “That is a lottery. And it is indisputably an unlawful lottery.”
Democrats are trying to stop Musk&#8217;s giveaway because one of the requirements is that those who signup must be registered voters. The requirement is leading to a lot of people registering to vote, particularly Republicans, in the crucial swing state that could determine the winner of next week&#8217;s presidential election.
Krasner alleged that the giveaway&#8217;s rules were &#8220;deceptive&#8221; because those who had won had attended Trump rallies and thus were not selected at &#8220;random.&#8221;
The Biden-Harris administration <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-harris-threatens-elon-musk-with-criminal-prosecution-for-petition-signup-giveaway">threatened</a> Musk last week with criminal prosecution for helping to drive voter turnout in the upcoming election.
The New York Times reported that the letter from the Biden-Harris Department of Justice warned that the giveaway “might violate federal laws against paying voters.”
The report said that the letter is intended to threaten “a criminal investigation” if Musk does not stop, even though it’s not clear if the petition even violates the law.
The letter comes after a group of anti-Trump Republicans sent a letter to the Biden-Harris DOJ this week demanding that they stop Musk’s efforts.
The move from the Biden-Harris administration comes after they have demonized Republican election integrity laws across the country by falsely claiming that they are Jim Crow‑era laws designed to suppress the vote.
Earlier this month, the Biden-Harris administration filed a lawsuit to stop the state of Virginia from removing non-citizens from the voter rolls before the election, even though the effort was in compliance with a law that was supported by Democrats.
“I think it straddles the line, and it’s a little unclear whether it goes over the line or not,” John Fortier, a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute who specializes in election administration, told NBC News of the Musk giveaway.
Nate Persily, a professor at Stanford Law School, told the network that there really has never been a case like this before, thus “we’re in new legal territory here.”
“The relevant legal question is whether this is payment to induce people to register. If it is, then it violates the law,” he said. “If it’s payment to induce people to sign a petition, then it’s not a problem.”
Michael Morse, an assistant professor of law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, told NBC News that he would be surprised if the Biden-Harris DOJ tried to stop Musk before the election because they should have more pressing matters before the election.
He said that he viewed this as an effort “to build up an email list for contacts, for campaigning, for mobilization.”

Kamala Harris is apparently going to call for more resources for Border Patrol agents to do their job.
However, I have spoken with the Border Patrol. The issue is not one of resources. The issue is the illegal structures under which they operate. The issue is whether they must immediately treat people who claim asylum as actual asylum possibilities or whether they can turn them away at the border.
Harris is going to propose new detection machines for fentanyl at border entry points. But that&#8217;s not where most of the fentanyl is crossing. The vast majority of fentanyl funneling into the country is coming in undetected, not through ports of entry.
Harris apparently will decry former President Trump&#8217;s failure as president to address this challenge and his recent efforts to build bipartisan solutions to it, and say the American people deserve a president who cares more about border security and playing political games.
But she doesn&#8217;t care about border security. This is a joke, and we all know it.
It’s all a lie.
The actual ideological predilection of the Democratic Party and of Kamala Harris is the George Soros program. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore.

A few years ago, Soros decided to hand over the running of the Open Society Foundations — which is his deeply Left-wing, really ugly 501c3 — to his son, Alex Soros. Alex is now engaged to Huma Abedin, whom you may remember as the buddy-buddy friend of Hillary Clinton and the wife of Anthony Weiner.
The Open Society Foundations has been a blight on the West since its launch. It is responsible for the appointment and election of extraordinarily radical DAs in major cities across America who fostered the Black Lives Matter riots. They are additionally responsible for many open-border policies.
On Thursday, photos were released of Alex Soros with Tim Walz at Soros’ apartment overlooking the proletariat in New York City. In them, Soros is standing above the New York skyline showing Walz — who is, as always, in a subservient position — what it means to be an elite helping to run the world.

I&#8217;m not sure you could possibly create a more conspiratorial-looking photo than this supplicant politician with the scion and heir to a billionaire financier promoting wild Left-wing policy.
The Open Society Foundations has spent billions on American politics over the course of three decades. Across the West, it has spent some $22 billion, an enormous amount of money. <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/04/nonprofit-financed-by-billionaire-george-soros-donated-140-million-to-political-groups-in-2021.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According</a> to CNBC, back in January 2023, “George Soros’ backed nonprofit invested at least $140 million into politically charged nonprofits just one year before the midterm elections. Those donations are on top of the more than $170 million Soros personally contributed during the 2022 midterm election cycle to help Democratic campaigns and political action committees.”
So, of course, the Democrats are going to Alex Soros for more money. A big Kamala Harris backer, Soros took a photo in July with Harris and, as soon as she became the nominee, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/alexsoros/p/C9sljRAyeJ-/?img_index=alexsoros" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweeted</a> that he was in support of her: “It’s time for us all to unite around Kamala Harris and beat Donald Trump. She is the best and most qualified candidate we have. Long live the American Dream!”
Alex Soros doesn’t give a damn about the American Dream. He was literally handed everything he has ever had.
So there they are, buddy-buddy, Alex Soros and Kamala Harris.
Now, whenever Soros is mentioned, I understand there is a cadre in the media who have a relationship with Jewishness that, shall we say, is fraught, and suddenly decide it&#8217;s anti-Semitic to point out that Alex and George Soros have spent billions of dollars on promoting far-Left policy across the West.
That&#8217;s just a reality. Such a statement is not anti-Semitic in any way, shape, or form. Alex Soros pouring money behind the Democrats and having Democratic candidates come to his apartment on bended knee to ask what they can do for him is a pretty impressive show of force by the Alex Soros wing of the party.

So what exactly does Alex Soros believe? He believes the most Left-wing things it is possible to believe. A November 1, 2021, press release from the Open Society Foundations stated, “The Open Society Foundations today announced $1.3 million to support frontline organizations working to aid Haitian and black migrants dislocated, detained, and expelled as they sought asylum and safety at the U.S. southern border this fall. This funding will help provide legal services to Haitian asylum seekers arriving at the Southwest border and support advocacy to protect their rights. It will further enable Black-led organizations to champion more broadly the humane treatment of all Black immigrants seeking safety and stability in the United States.”
And in this same press release, the Open Society Foundations promoted the lie that the Border Patrol was whipping Haitian migrants with horse reins, which, of course, was not true. Alexander Soros said, “The treatment of Haitian migrants at the southern border is unconscionable and a stain on our country&#8217;s standing across the region and among Black Americans. The damage done by these policies will last long after the headlines fade. These policies must change, accountability must be served, and the basic dignity and rights of the tired and poor, yearning to be free are honored here. We are proud to support organizations working on overdrive to help thousands through this crisis.”
This is what the Open Society Foundations is. The Open Society Foundations, led by Alex Soros, is a far-Left organization. It is impossible to think of any far-Left cause they do not support. In fact, they do everything from support extraordinary COVID-19 lockdowns to open borders to “criminal justice reform” — which is designed to defund the police — to Democratic voter groups and to censorship via social media.
That&#8217;s what the Open Society Foundations do.
Those are the people Harris is cultivating each and every single day.
It&#8217;s not just Harris, of course.

On September 19, the Associated Press published <a href="https://apnews.com/article/evangelicals-harris-trump-christians-vote-9d5cb379dc3c2fdb3f4954c556a29ec5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an article</a> with the headline, “These evangelicals for Harris are voting their values—by backing Kamala Harris.” This headline intrigued me. I wondered what values evangelical Christians could possibly share with Harris, since evangelicals live by the Bible and especially the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I have my suspicions that these “evangelicals” featured by the mainstream media are not what they seem. The intended effect here may be to cause enough doubt among true evangelical voters that they stay home on Election Day. Although those voters would not vote for Harris, they may no longer feel comfortable voting for Trump, either.
Yes, Donald J. Trump’s flaws are well known, though permit me to point out that many of his alleged and most egregious transgressions occurred while he was yet a Democrat. Since Christianity is a “come as you are” religion, most Christians understand that people are not bound by the mistakes they make during the journey of life. What some Christians struggle with is the contradictions that they see within Trump and the Republican Party more broadly. The GOP’s platform has retreated from its non-negotiable stances on the sanctity of human life and the importance of marriage as a permanent union between one man and one woman. Given the divorce rate in America, the standards were perhaps too high for the latter to carry much sway. Even so, the Republican platform more closely aligns with those convictions shaped by Biblical truths than the Democrats’ alternative.
Let’s look at Vice President Kamala Harris’s current policy stance on certain issues versus her platform on those issues during her presidential bid (she has assured her donors and followers that her values remain the same — wink-wink!) Harris supports the killing of unborn babies at any stage of development. Reproductive freedom, the euphemism for abortion, comes with no limits in her mind. In 2019, Harris is on record in an American Civil Liberties Union questionnaire stating that she would cut financial support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and offer gender transition surgeries to border crossers. Since the Biden-Harris Administration has tried to rewrite Title IX of the Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity (now blocked by the Supreme Court), it is a safe bet that she supports men competing in women’s sports. Former President Trump has made it clear that he opposes biological males participating in women’s sports and would eliminate the expansion of the law that allows men to compete against women.
Despite Democrats and Republicans moving closer together on pivotal issues, Bible-believing Christians would still find more like-minded people in the Republican Party.
With all that in mind, the question still begs: does Harris offer a certain appeal for evangelicals, and should the Trump team be concerned? One such Harris-friendly evangelical group, Evangelicals for Harris, is targeting Christians with ads and arguments meant to persuade them that Harris is closer to their views than Trump.
I decided to dig a little deeper into Evangelicals for Harris to determine if they are disaffected Republicans who believe that Democrats best represent Christian values. What I discovered takes us back to 2008 and the decision that progressives made to go after the religious vote following the election of Barack Obama. First of all, Obama kept in place Bush’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative that allowed churches big and small to feed from the federal trough. It provided federal grants to churches who were providing social services to underserved populations. This meant that some of the black megachurches whose pastors had endorsed George W. Bush quickly switched their allegiances to Obama. Under Obama, money flowed to any organization or group that could make a religious claim. Not surprisingly, that’s when we saw the emergence of liberal evangelical groups supported by private and public funds.
Federal dollars eroded at the common understanding of evangelicalism, making the meaning fuzzier and fuzzier. It was no longer just about Jesus and the Gospel. Evangelicalism was opened up to progressive interests: its purposes now included advocacy for global warming and reproductive freedom. This attracted the dark designs of atheists bent on remaking America in their godless image, such as George Soros.
A 2010 op-ed by Mark Tooley, President of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, documented Soros’ influence well: “George Soros’s Evangelicals.” His article focused most prominently on Richard Cizik, the former head of The National Association of Evangelicals, who had represented the organization in Washington, D.C. for almost three decades. Two years earlier, Cizik had been forced to resign from that position but had reinvented himself with a return to power with a new organization he founded, New Evangelical Partnership for the Common Good. Now, Cizik serves as the executive director of Evangelicals for Democracy. Soros’s Open Society Foundation funded Cizik as well as another progressive “evangelical” Jim Wallis, the theologian who founded and edited the Sojourners Magazine and also received money from the Open Society Institute.
The influence of those like Soros wouldn’t be possible if existing evangelical powerhouses weren’t receptive to them. Using Marxist and Fabian socialists-inspired strategies, America’s churches (including the Southern Baptist, America’s largest Protestant organization) have been infiltrated with progressive evangelicals who are indeed shifting the organization and its member churches to the left. In 2019, the Southern Baptists shocked the world with its adoption of Resolution 9, “on Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality,” clearly concepts that its members were clueless about. One provision of the tortuous resolution stated that “critical race theory and intersectionality should only be employed as analytical tools subordinate to Scripture—not as transcendent ideological frameworks.’ Thereby, it brought into its midst a godless approach rooted in conflict theory. When the organization’s conservatives attempted to revisit the issue and insist on the authority of scripture unaided with Marxist tools, leaders of progressive black churches like Reverend Dwight McKissic, A Baptist Pastor, from Texas threatened to leave the organization.
Ironically, McKissic is one of the Evangelicals for Harris quoted in the AP article I mentioned earlier. According to him, there is “no moral superiority of one party over another.” For proof, McKissic cited “the GOP’s decision to ‘abandon a commitment to ban abortion with a constitutional amendment’ and to soften its stance against same-sex marriage in its party platform.” Although the authors of that article would have you believe that McKissic is an evangelical Christian who sees commonality with Harris, there is no evidence I am aware of that McKissic ever supported Trump, or the Republican Party once Obama came on the scene.
Reverend Jim Ball, the former Executive Vice President for Policy and Climate Change at the Evangelical Environmental Network, is the organizer of Evangelicals for Harris. He has stated that, “Diversity is a strength for us. We’re not looking for total unanimity. We’re looking for unity. We can be united while we have differences.”
It is these connections that lead me to believe that much-publicized evangelicals supporting Harris such as Evangelicals for Harris are, in truth, wolves in sheep’s clothing: progressives seeking to pull away Christian Trump supporters by pointing out his lack of humility, his “meanness”, waffling on issues like the sanctity of human life and the sacredness of traditional marriage. Whether they are successful at making any serious inroads into the traditional evangelical base remains to be seen. What is clear is that part of the strategy is to create disillusionment in the followers of Jesus Christ, hoping that this group will stay at home on election day. We can only pray that Christians are wise to the game.

A network of left-wing organizations backed by billionaire George Soros is working to naturalize and mobilize immigrants and refugees in order to activate them as voting blocs in swing states, boasting that they could “sway the outcome of national, state, and local elections.”
Chief among these groups is the National Partnership for New Americans, which <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/npna">describes itself</a> as “a national multiethnic, multiracial partnership network of 60 of the country’s leading immigrant and refugee rights organizations.” The group received <a href="https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/grants/past?filter_keyword=National+Partnership+for+New+Americans">$560,000</a> from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations from 2016 to 2021. The group had a <a href="https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/453419142">total revenue of $4.11 million</a> in 2023.
“Our network has supported the naturalization of over 250,000 U.S. Citizens and has been a key driver of advocacy to make naturalization more affordable and accessible,” the National Partnership for New Americans <a href="https://partnershipfornewamericans.org/about-us/">states</a>. Its website features an image of a t-shirt that reads “Naturalize 2 Million by 2022,&#8221; along with the phrase “New American Voters.”
Democrats often rebut the Republican argument on illegal immigration — that the left encourages it to forge a path to permanent Democrat political power — by saying that illegal immigrants don&#8217;t have the right to vote. But the effort by the Soros-funded group to get as many immigrants as possible on the voter rolls as a way to &#8220;sway&#8221; elections indicates that the left does view immigration as a political tool.
Figures suggest that mass immigration could be a boon for Democrats’ electoral chances. One analysis found that congressional districts with a higher-than-average foreign born population voted for Democrats in <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/02/07/democrats-winning-90-congressional-districts-with-large-foreign-born-populations/">90 percent</a> of cases during the 2018 midterm election. The foreign-born population residing in the United States surged to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/foreign-born-population-hits-new-high-with-surge-under-biden-fueled-by-illegal-immigration">51.6 million</a> — the highest level ever — under the Biden-Harris administration. An estimate from the Center for Immigration Studies found that illegal immigration accounted for approximately 58 percent of that spike.

President Joe Biden beat former President Donald Trump by <a href="https://www.politico.com/2020-election/results/arizona/">only 11,000 votes</a> in Arizona in 2020, a fact that underscores the impact mass immigration could have on American elections. Biden beat Trump by <a href="https://www.politico.com/2020-election/results/georgia/">just 12,000 votes</a> in Georgia, another crucial swing state, in 2020. The New American Voters campaign notes that there are more than 86,000 individuals who have been naturalized in Georgia since the election.
The <a href="https://newamericanvoters.org/">New American Voters</a> campaign, a project of the National Partnership for New Americans, maintains <a href="https://newamericanvoters.org/reports/">demographic reports</a> on critical swing states and the <a href="https://partnershipfornewamericans.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/NAV_National-Stats-Final.pdf">country</a> as a whole.
“Since the last presidential election in November 2020, an estimated 62,179 voting age adults have become newly naturalized citizens in Arizona,” reads one such report, which also track the top ten countries of origin for new citizens in each state.
National Partnership for New Americans Executive Director Nicole Melaku used the <a href="https://partnershipfornewamericans.org/new-data-voter-survey-key-election-states-boast-nearly-1-8-million-new-american-voters-eager-for-dignifying-immigration-solutions/">release of its demographic data</a> as an opportunity to push Biden to swing further to the left on immigration, pressuring him to support “pathways to citizenship.”
One <a href="https://partnershipfornewamericans.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Naturalize_Now_Vote_Tomorrow_FINAL.pdf">2020 report</a> from the National Partnership for New Americans explains that “new American voters form critical voting blocks that can have the power to sway national electoral outcomes,” highlighting their growing share of the population in key swing states and calling them “a sleeping political giant.”
A 2022 <a href="https://newamericanvoters.org/assets/2022/07/NPNA_2022-New-American-Voters-Report.pdf">report</a> from the group celebrated newly-naturalized voters as part of the <a href="https://www.voterparticipation.org/our-research/">“new American majority</a>,” a term used to describe “all people of color, unmarried women, and young voting eligible Americans.” The National Partnership for New Americans directly compared the margin of victory in the 2020 presidential election to the number of newly-naturalized voters who had since gained citizenship within each state.
The National Partnership for New Americans isn’t the only leftist organization working to leverage mass immigration to impact American elections, however. There’s also the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, an organization that’s received nearly <a href="https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/grants/past?filter_keyword=immigrant+legal+resource+center">$7 million</a> from Soros between 2016 to 2022, and had <a href="https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/942939540">$25 million in total revenue</a> in 2022.
Two of the most recent listed grants from the Open Society Foundations, which total nearly $4.3 million, are intended “to encourage naturalization among eligible immigrants, assist them with the process, and mobilize their civic participation.” The center is one of the organizations behind <a href="https://www.citizenshipworks.org/en">Citizenshipworks</a>, an effort also <a href="https://www.citizenshipworks.org/en/who-we-are">funded</a> by the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative to help non-citizens residing in the United States become citizens.
The Immigrant Legal Resource Center isn’t exclusively concerned with naturalizing and mobilizing non-citizens. The organization also works to prevent the deportation of illegal aliens. It received $500,000 in 2021 from the Open Society Foundations to fund its efforts to “dismantle the infrastructure of criminalization, detention, and deportation of immigrants.”
The organization also engages in policy advocacy, pushing a far-left agenda that would make it <a href="https://www.ilrc.org/sites/default/files/resources/dui_advisory_2final.pdf">harder to deport illegal immigrants</a> who are convicted of crimes like driving under the influence. The organization even encourages people to “<a href="https://www.ilrc.org/community-resources">report ICE activity</a>” in their area.
Even without the Soros network&#8217;s efforts, a significant number of non-citizens could vote in November. One <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/study-says-millions-of-non-citizens-likely-to-vote-in-2024-election">recent study</a> found that up to 27 percent of non-citizens are illegally registered to vote. The study&#8217;s authors <a href="https://www.justfacts.com/news_non-citizen_voter_registration">concluded</a> there were enough non-citizens registered to vote &#8220;to overturn the will of the American people in major elections, including congressional seats and the presidency.&#8221;
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) this month warned that Vice President Kamala Harris supports mass immigration because it will <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sen-cruz-warns-that-illegal-immigration-means-democrats-win-every-election-forever">shift America</a> “dramatically to the left,” allowing Democrats to “win every election forever.” Other Republicans, and SpaceX founder Elon Musk have leveled similar <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/elon-musk-says-democrats-allow-illegal-immigration-build-political-power">accusations</a>.
The National Partnership for New Americans, the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, and the Open Society Foundations did not respond to requests for comment.

A George Soros-funded nonprofit that steers left-wing prosecutors in major American cities is in turmoil after much of its minority staff accused their leader of being racist and abusive.
Long-simmering discontent at Fair and Just Prosecution reached a new high in April when Sherry Boston, the elected district attorney of Dekalb County, Georgia, accused FJP Executive Director Miriam Krinsky of racism for excluding her from a New York City event, emails obtained by The Daily Wire show.
Krinsky, who is white, replied by disparaging Boston and saying she was excluded from events because of merit, not race. Krinsky appeared to suggest that Boston, a black Democrat, had failed to advance &#8220;racial justice&#8221; by prosecuting too many crimes.
Tensions continued escalating in the ensuing months, as staff members accused Krinsky of misconduct, abuse, harassment, and retaliation.
“The workplace culture under Miriam&#8217;s leadership is oppressively authoritarian,” disaffected employees, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Daily Wire in an email. “Miriam manipulates a predominantly young, minority staff—exploiting their inexperience and the existing racial dynamics within the organization to tighten her grip on power.”
The staffers said they had faced retaliation for sounding the alarm about racism within the group, and that the leaders of the anti-police movement were quick to weaponize law enforcement to inflict it.
“FJP, backed by Tides, are using law enforcement to retaliate against both current and former employees who have raised concerns about the organization&#8217;s practices. Some of these employees were wrongfully terminated and now face legal threats simply for attempting to do the right thing. Disturbingly, the organization has even orchestrated fake wellness checks as a means to weaponize the police—the same police they advocate should be defunded,” the employees said.
Krinsky has led FJP since the group&#8217;s inception in 2017. A Daily Wire analysis of archived versions of FJP&#8217;s <a href="https://fairandjustprosecution.org/about-fjp/our-team/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a> shows significant staff turnover. The group lost 6 of 16 employees in 2020, 7 more in 2021, and 9 of 22 in 2023. Last month, FJP removed the staff listing from its website.
Christopher Gray, a spokesman for FJP, said he could not discuss the circumstances of employees’ dismissals because of concern about defamation law.
“Any personnel actions taken by the organization are in full compliance with applicable laws, our anti-harassment policies, and reflect our core values,” Gray said in an email.
FJP is not officially incorporated with the Internal Revenue Service, but is instead “fiscally sponsored” by the Tides Foundation, a left-wing money clearinghouse. This arrangement means FJP does not have to disclose financial information, nor maintain a board of directors with power over Krinsky.
“Miriam&#8217;s leadership is characterized by a deep-seated culture of secrecy. She withholds critical information from even her top staff, including undisclosed financial details, such as her actual salary,” the employees said. “She has meticulously crafted an organizational structure that consolidates her power, eliminating any meaningful oversight.”
Tides spokeswoman Liah Caravalho said, “There is no validity to the assertion that Tides has issued legal threats in response to a whistleblower or other legitimate complaint.” She declined to say what actions Tides has taken to review employees’ concerns, or what, if any, structure exists for the group to replace problematic CEOs under its fiscal sponsorship model.
In April, after Krinsky told Boston she had been placed on the waiting list for an event that month in New York City, Boston replied raising “great concern&#8221; about Krinsky&#8217;s leadership.
“I am incredibly disturbed at the diversity that has exited the room,” she said, adding that FJP “has failed miserably in that regard.&#8221;
&#8220;To watch ‘us’ [black members] be placed to 2nd tier status begs a lot of questions.”
Boston&#8217;s missive caused a significant stir among FJP staff, many of whom were copied on the email. On April 22, Krinsky wrote to the staff saying that Boston was not excluded because she’s black, but because she was unqualified.
“The DA expressed upset at not being invited to all FJP convenings and also expressed the view that diversity is declining in the FJP network as a result, in part, of these decisions,&#8221; she wrote. &#8220;The concern that FJP decisions around whom to include at our convenings are based in any part on excluding people based on race or gender is deeply troubling and of great concern to all of us, and also categorically untrue.&#8221;
Krinsky suggested that Boston was not invited because she was not “abiding by our key values of ending mass incarceration and promoting racial justice.”
“Policy and prosecution choices and decisions made by the DA here raised serious concerns about a commitment to our values and reform,” she wrote. “As a result, following research and due deliberation, FJP stepped back from some of our engagement with the DA.”
“We know this has been an upsetting situation for many of you,” she wrote, saying that even though she did not believe Boston&#8217;s charge of racism, “we recognize that there is more that we can do to support equity and racial justice,” and that she would hold “office hours” for employees to air grievances.
Boston did not return a request for comment.
An August <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/documents-reveal-how-george-soros-controls-prosecutors">investigation</a> from the Media Research Center found Krinsky held sway over law enforcement officials with jurisdiction over more than 3 in 10 Americans. The report found that Soros uses FJP to maintain contact with the left-wing prosecutors he helps get elected with massive donations. FJP often writes public statements and op-eds in elected officials&#8217;s names, and summons them to &#8220;mandatory&#8221; training sessions.
According to the Media Research Center, FJP pushed the idea that statistically-disproportionate racial outcomes are sufficient to prove racism. The group pressed its DAs to &#8220;reduc[e] racial disparities in case outcomes by at least 20%” — and to not use police for health calls.
Indeed, it views any interaction between police and minorities as a potential death sentence. FJP celebrated when New York Gov. Anthony Cuomo let San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin’s father, a left-wing terrorist convicted of killing two police officers, out of prison early, and sent out emails praising its DAs when they indicted police officers. The Media Research Center report also showed retaliation by Soros&#8217; money machine against left-wing district attorneys who, once in office, moderated their positions to deal with rising crime.
The FJP staff&#8217;s experience corresponds with what conservatives have long said about the Soros judicial philosophy: that it pushes lax policies against traditional crime but draconian enforcement against critics and political opponents. A typical weekly update from Krinsky to her stable of prosecutors, dated April 19, 2022, lauds Ingraham County Prosecuting Attorney Carol Siemon for &#8220;charging fewer drug-inducted homicide cases.&#8221;
On the next page, meanwhile, Krinsky commends Washington, D.C., Attorney General Karl Racine for &#8220;expanding its lawsuit against the January 6th insurrectionists&#8221; — none of whom have been charged with insurrection — noting that the goal is &#8220;to bring about additional accountability beyond existing criminal actions by DOJ, including targeting the finances of groups.&#8221;

George Soros and his son, Alex, have spent at least $117 million since 2016 to reshape America&#8217;s justice system. They&#8217;ve been successful: three in 10 Americans now live under a Soros prosecutor.
But the Soroses’ influence doesn’t end on Election Day. After Soros-backed prosecutors take office, the family’s apparatus tells them what to do, documents show.
The Media Research Center obtained nearly 8,000 pages of internal documents through public records laws that show how a Soros-funded group called Fair and Just Prosecution (FJP) &#8220;directed Soros prosecutors to manipulate the rule of law concerning illegal immigration, drugs, abortion, election integrity, capital punishment and laws against childhood sex changes.&#8221;
MRC’s yearlong investigation suggests that Soros maintained influence over his chosen candidates after their elections were over. FJP had the Soros-backed attorneys sign 33 pledges to not enforce certain laws — including election integrity measures and immigration laws — and attend more than 50 meetings or “convenings,” some of which were “mandatory.&#8221; FJP pressed prosecutors to let criminals off the hook if they are black, having them pledge to &#8220;reduc[e] racial disparities in case outcomes by at least 20%.&#8221;
FJP&#8217;s influence can be seen on some of the most high-profile Soros prosecutors. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg sought to indict former President Donald Trump for his role in the January 6 protests after the group said it wanted to hold Trump &#8220;accountable.&#8221; Since-ousted San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin was in contact with FJP on a daily basis. On 20 occasions, FJP sent prosecutors &#8220;templates&#8221; of press releases they should send out, as well as social media posts to &#8220;adapt.&#8221;
&#8220;Being a Soros prosecutor means extensive, free access to expert political consulting firms, complete with detailed polling and field-tested messaging strategies,&#8221; the<a href="https://mrc.org/sorosdocuments"> MRC&#8217;s report</a> found. &#8220;FJP remains in the driver seat, though, even going so far as to draft social media posts for its prosecutors so they can better coordinate their messaging.&#8221;
At the meetings, Soros prosecutors got talking points and marching orders. At one meeting, political consultants told the assembled prosecutors to frame ignoring property crime as &#8220;reprioritizing resources&#8221; to &#8220;solve more murders.&#8221; The consultants cited polling that showed this messaging was more popular than simply acknowledging that prosecutors were not prosecuting lesser crime.
The Soros operation also pushed prosecutors to use mental or physical health specialists instead of police by sharing polling that showed that the idea was popular.
Soros has poured the kind of money normally reserved for statewide campaigns low-profile local prosecutor races. The Hungarian billionaire generally targets primary elections in blue areas, funding radical progressives in their races against more moderate Democrats. Once in office, these &#8220;progressive prosecutors&#8221; often decline to enforce laws they find objectionable.
When new Soros-backed prosecutors were first elected, they would meet with experienced Soros prosecutors for guidance. Bragg and Arlington, Virginia attorney Parisa Dehghani-Tafti traveled to Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon&#8217;s office in 2021. Dehghani-Tafti this year<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/soros-prosecutor-wont-shut-down-pro-palestinian-encampment-outside-antony-blinkens-home"> declined</a> to enforce the law against pro-Palestinian protestors who camped outside Secretary of State Antony Blinken&#8217;s home.
The Soros network used money and influence to burnish its district attorneys’ profiles and keep them in office. FJP wrote and placed op-eds on behalf of prosecutors.
Rachel Rollins, who briefly served as U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts before resigning amid an ethics investigation, served on the advisory board of a project affiliated with the taxpayer-funded PBS. She used her position to push the network to film an eight-part documentary about Philadelphia&#8217;s radical prosecutor Larry Krasner.
Another Soros group bankrolled a glowing documentary about Boudin. The documentary celebrated Boudin&#8217;s father, a domestic terrorist and cop killer, for his &#8220;lifetime of commitment to those struggling.&#8221; FJP celebrated when New York Gov. Anthony Cuomo let Boudin&#8217;s father, a member of the Weather Underground, out of prison early.
Even as it advocated for less prosecution of ordinary criminals, the Soros network pushed aggressive prosecution of police and conservatives. FJP connected prosecutors with the Soros-funded Anti-Defamation League, which provided them with &#8220;resources&#8221; on ow to prosecute people for &#8220;extremism.&#8221; The Anti-Defamation League says that anyone who opposes Antifa is a &#8220;white supremacist,&#8221; the MRC report said.
&#8220;On at least 12 separate occasions, FJP sent out celebratory emails when one of their network prosecutors indicted or convicted a police officer. FJP implied the indictment race was some sort of competition, rejoicing that &#8216;in the last 18 months, [<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/prosecutor-questions-official-story-for-why-soros-backed-da-dropped-charges-against-election-software-firm">George Gascon</a>’s] office has charged 19 police officers,'&#8221; the report said.
FJP had Gascon train other Soros attorneys how to prosecute police. A top Gascon deputy was later<a href="https://www.nbclosangeles.com/investigations/assistant-la-county-district-attorney-faces-felony-charges-for-allegedly-mishandling-confidential-police-files/3396824/"> charged</a> with illegally accessing police officers&#8217; private information.
FJP also worked directly with the Biden administration.
In 2021, then-Deputy Associate Attorney General Theron Pride attended one of the private Soros prosecutor meetings. Pride was in charge of doling out federal grants. Pride later left government to run a Soros-funded group. Kristen Mahoney, who at the time led the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the &#8220;leading source of federal funding&#8221; to states and cities, also met with them. FJP highlighted how Mahoney&#8217;s federal agency gave grants to at least five Soros DAs.
Soros also funded &#8220;lavish junkets&#8221; for attorneys to Germany, which has one of the strictest censorship regimes in the world. FJP said that &#8220;Germany now diverts almost all people away from prison.&#8221; MRC&#8217;s report said that &#8220;Germany’s socialist government recently decriminalized possession of child pornography, but upheld the conviction of an opposition party leader for posting the government’s official crime statistics on social media.&#8221;
Some Soros prosecutors have faced political blowback for their progressive tendencies. Florida Gov.<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/governor-desantis-suspends-liberal-attorney-for-failing-to-enforce-the-law-on-abortion-trans-surgeries-for-minors"> Ron DeSantis removed</a> one such prosecutor, Andrew Warren, after he signed one of the FLP statements, which DeSantis said proved “that Warren thinks he has the authority to defy the Florida Legislature and nullify in his jurisdiction criminal laws with which he disagrees.&#8221;
But enforcing the laws could land these prosecutors in hot water with the Soros network, the MRC reports.
&#8220;When the prosecutors follow the Soros groups’ directions, they are rewarded. When they choose the law over the Soros machine’s orders, they are removed.&#8221;
In Texas, five Soros attorneys&#8217; &#8220;work on pledges and sabotaging the attorney general’s enforcement of the laws meant they were now taking orders from the Soros machine to directly contradict their oaths of office,&#8221; the MRC found.
&#8220;Soros groups shielded the Texas Five from the consequences of their actions, footing their personal legal bills and helping them lobby the legislature to ignore their actions. A sixth Soros prosecutor refused to go along with this ploy, and as a result was ruthlessly targeted by the Soros machine and defeated,&#8221; the MRC said.
That sixth prosecutor became concerned that the progressive contingent’s policies had contributed to a crime wave and began dialing back. Soros dumped money into unseating her in a primary.
One of the Texas DAs, Nueces County DA Mark Gonzalez, texted the others, &#8220;I didn&#8217;t declare any benefit from any training or conferences I attended from FJP on my personal financial statement. Did ya&#8217;ll do the same? And if so, any legal reasoning.&#8221; A judge later found evidence of &#8220;gross incompetence&#8221; by Gonzalez, who declined to prosecute nearly three-quarters of cases and has the words &#8220;Not Guilty&#8221; tattooed on his chest.
After getting far-left prosecutors elected, Soros leverages them to push higher-level officials to enact progressive priorities like limiting cash bail, forcing police to undergo diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training, and giving prosecutors more &#8220;discretionary powers,&#8221; MRC said.
The Soros network also helps staff progressive prosecutors&#8217; offices by identifying third-year law students and placing them in jobs. Soros prosecutors&#8217; offices have been wracked by incompetence after career prosecutors are mistreated or quit out of frustration with new progressive leadership.
Even in deep-blue areas, some Americans have come to regret choosing far-left prosecutors.
&#8220;From 2022 to 2024, at least 13 Soros prosecutors lost or gave up their offices as they were held to account for long records of negligence, bad choices and radicalism. At least five were defeated at the ballot box. Three were removed or suspended from office for publicly committing to not do their jobs. Five resigned while under investigation, and one is battling her criminal conviction. Another prosecutor agreed not to run for reelection after several scandals,&#8221; the MRC report notes.
Loudoun County, Virginia attorney Buta Biberaj defeated a Republican by 1 percent after Soros spent $800,000 in “independent expenditures” on her race. Typical total spending for the race was only $150,000.
Biberaj later tried to jail the father of a rape victim who threatened to expose Loudoun County Schools for covering up his daughter&#8217;s rape by a male student allowed to use the girls&#8217; bathroom because he identified as transgender.
As experienced career prosecutors quit, Biberaj said FJP director Miriam Krinsky, was &#8220;the backbone to a lot of what we have done in our office.&#8221;
Biberaj<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/prosecutor-who-tried-to-jail-loudoun-dad-wiped-out-at-the-ballot-box"> lost her race</a> to a Republican this year.
Several states have moved to amend laws to make it easier to remove rogue prosecutors from office. The MRC in its report says that  &#8220;governors and state attorneys general should remove law-breaking prosecutors,&#8221; and that &#8220;where appropriate, AGs should also bring RICO-like charges against the Soros machine and his prosecutors.&#8221;

The “gender-fluid” Virginia teenager who raped a freshman girl in a girl’s bathroom while he was wearing a skirt was quietly released from a juvenile treatment center in November. On Wednesday, his 18th birthday, he was released from court supervision.
Because Buta Biberaj—Loudoun County&#8217;s since-defeated George Soros-backed prosecutor—charged him as a juvenile, he will have no public conviction on his record. He will not appear on a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/loudoun-rapist-removed-from-sex-offender-registry-after-county-board-member-says-hes-the-victim" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sex offender registry</a>, despite Judge Pamela Brooks saying at his January 2022 <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-loudoun-rapist-sentenced-put-on-sex-offender-registry-for-life">sentencing</a> that “Over the years this court has read many psychosexual reports, and when I read yours, frankly, it scared me. It scared me for you, it scared me for society.”
Now that the perpetrator is an adult, The Daily Wire is no longer withholding his name: Hunter Heckel.
In October 2021, The Daily Wire broke the news that the Loudoun County school system <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/loudoun-county-schools-tried-to-conceal-sexual-assault-against-daughter-in-bathroom-father-says" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concealed the rape</a> while it worked to pass a policy that would allow transgender students to use the bathroom of their choice. Administrators transferred Heckel to a different school, where he sexually assaulted another girl.
In between, then-Loudoun County Schools Superintendent Scott Ziegler accused parents who objected to the bathroom policy of transphobia and denied that any rape occurred in the school bathroom.
Scott Smith, the father of Heckel&#8217;s first victim, said Biberaj did not notify his family upon the rapist&#8217;s release in November. Biberaj lost to a Republican that same month.
Smith said after Heckel raped his daughter, Biberaj extended a plea deal for lesser charges, over his objections, that would have “made it seem like a minor thing.”
“They were trying to push through a BS plea bargain with no consequence. We were told there was nothing we could do about it,&#8221; Smith told The Daily Wire. &#8220;If he hadn’t [assaulted a second girl], they were going to push us off a cliff.&#8221;
Biberaj personally argued in court for Smith&#8211;the victim&#8217;s father&#8211;to be sentenced to jail for disorderly conduct after he became angry at the school board meeting at which Ziegler denied the existence of the rape. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R.) later <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-lash-out-at-youngkin-for-pardoning-father-of-loudoun-rape-victim" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pardoned</a> Smith for his disorderly conduct conviction, sending Biberaj into a fury.
The new Republican prosecutor, Bob Anderson, has since hired several people who stood up for the victims, including a lawyer who helped the Smith family navigate Heckler&#8217;s prosecution and another who worked for the state to prosecute former superintendent Ziegler.
Smith—who is suing Loudoun County Public Schools after its<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/loudoun-said-trumps-policies-forced-them-to-cover-up-rape-its-own-lawyers-found-the-opposite-in-secret-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> lawyers</a> acknowledged that it violated federal law designed to protect women—said Biberaj’s defeat at the ballot box was a bright spot in a trying time.
Smith said that he was told that Heckel has “completed his high school, he has a job, and he’s considering going to college.&#8221;
“He basically walked out of this scarless. Hunter got a new start yesterday. When do we get our new start?”

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA—For nine months, Palestinian protesters have camped out around the clock in front of Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s home, pouring fake blood on the ground and shrieking at the top of their lungs in the middle of the night.
The protests may violate several Virginia laws. But the local prosecutor in Arlington—the only person with the authority to enforce those laws—has declined to do so.
Arlington County Commonwealth&#8217;s Attorney Parisa Dehghani-Tafti told The Daily Wire in an email that “Based on the facts and circumstances shared by the ACPD, there is no basis in the law to charge the demonstrators.&#8221;
Dehgani-Tafti, an Iranian-American former public defender with no prosecutorial experience who was elected Arlington’s prosecutor with the help of hundreds of thousands of dollars <a href="https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/06/10/soros-prosecutor-arlington-county-227101/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">from George Soros</a>, declined to discuss what legal reasoning had led her to believe that the facts did not meet the threshold of the law.
But several state and local ordinances prohibit the kind of late-night disruptions and disruptive activities the protestors engage in, and frequently document on social media.
Dehgani-Tafti&#8217;s refusal to prosecute the protesters comes as public figures face increasingly incendiary rhetoric and threats. Pro-Palestinian protesters have pushed the bounds of accepted political activism by targeting officials at their family homes.
The attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump further highlights the risks officials face. The most recent presidential candidate to be assassinated—Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.—was killed by a Palestinian angry at Kennedy&#8217;s &#8220;pro-Zionist&#8221; policies.
Protesters have set up tents along the side of the narrow, secluded Chain Bridge Road and are occupying them around the clock with a rotating group. They have chronicled their behavior on video—posting, for example, video to Instagram on June 16 of them shouting at Blinken as he returned from an international trip at 3:30 a.m., while pouring red bottles of liquid onto the ground next to his car.
&#8220;Bloody Blinken, butcher of Gaza,&#8221; they <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8SiKd7u0u5/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shouted</a>. “I hate to break your bubble of imperialist delusion while you starve children to death and torture people in concentration camps but Israel has been charged with the crime of extermination!”
The protestors have been camped outside of Blinken&#8217;s home for so long that, at one point, if one Googled “Kibbutz Blinken”—the protesters’ name for the encampment, which mocks Israeli communes—Blinken’s home address appeared, as if it were a restaurant or theme park attraction.
Virginia code <a href="https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title18.2/chapter9/section18.2-419/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">18.2-419. Picketing or disrupting tranquility of home</a> says that “Any person who shall engage in picketing before or about the residence or dwelling place of any individual, or who shall assemble with another person or persons in a manner which disrupts or threatens to disrupt any individual&#8217;s right to tranquility in his home, shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor. Each day on which a violation of this section occurs shall constitute a separate offense.”
According to the <a href="https://arlingtonva.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/22/2020/07/Ch15_NoiseControl.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arlington County Code</a>, “It shall be unlawful for any person in a group of four or more persons to engage, during the nighttime, in yelling, wailing, shouting, or screaming such that the yelling, wailing, shouting or screaming is heard in any” residential area, and “Any violation of this chapter may be charged as a misdemeanor.” The code defines &#8220;nighttime&#8221; as 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

State law section <a href="https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title33.2/chapter12/section33.2-1224/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">33.2-1224</a> makes it illegal to place signs in a highway’s right-of-way or attach them to highway objects, and says no one may use a highway right-of-way <a href="https://law.lis.virginia.gov/admincode/title24/agency30/chapter151/section440/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">without a permit</a>. Under state law, anywhere with “camping units for periods of overnight or longer” is defined as a <a href="https://law.lis.virginia.gov/admincode/title12/agency5/chapter450/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">campground</a>, requiring a permit, inspection, and sanitation facilities.
Ashley Savage, a spokesman for the Arlington County Police Department, told The Daily Wire in an email that the department “is committed to ensuring individuals and groups can safely and peacefully demonstrate” and “at this time, there is no probable cause for a violation of a Virginia code section.”
She said the department has only arrested two protestors: one who painted a yellow fire hydrant red, and a driver who repeatedly blew her horn and refused to show her driver&#8217;s license. Concrete barriers have been installed on the narrow roadway, and protesters set up their tents on that strip.
When The Daily Wire visited the protest site in mid-June, the fire hydrant would have been difficult to access in the event of an emergency. Video from the protesters suggests that the government subsequently spent money modifying the fire hydrant to accommodate the protesters by adding an extension that elevates it above their materials and the barrier.

“NO HORN BLOWING” signs have been installed to prevent drivers who support the protesters from noisily expressing their support. Blinken&#8217;s road leads from Washington, D.C., to the toniest neighborhoods occupied by government employees, where protesters are met by a mix of reactions from passersby.
Though the protest included more than a dozen people early on, when The Daily Wire visited only three people were on site: Sumer Mobarak, a protest leader, along with a white man in his 30s who declined to give his name, and a black woman who refused to speak. The man said that the protesters live in the tents and use the bathroom in buckets inside them. He said that they stop making noise at 9 p.m. because they are conscious that it is against Arlington law, and want the protest to continue for the long term.
But shortly after The Daily Wire&#8217;s visit, the protesters shared video of them making noise well into the night on social media.
The prohibition against picketing at people’s homes is one of many laws a new crop of leftist prosecutors has chosen to ignore. Precedent for not enforcing the law was established when leftist activists staked out the homes of conservative Supreme Court in the summer of 2022 to protest the Court&#8217;s anticipated reversal of Roe v. Wade.
At the time, the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2022/07/02/supreme-court-justices-picketing-homes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">marshal of the Supreme Court</a> petitioned state and local leaders in Virginia and Maryland to enforce laws that would curb the protests. Fairfax County Chairman Jeff McKay replied that the law “is likely a violation of the First Amendment.” Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, a Republican, sought authority to enforce criminal law in cases where local prosecutors would not. His petition passed the Republican-controlled state house, but was blocked by the <a href="https://www.wric.com/news/politics/capitol-connection/virginia-senate-democrats-reject-miyares-effort-to-expand-ags-authority-over-local-crime-cases/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Democrat-controlled state Senate.</a>
In Maryland, Montgomery County police later arrested a man who had allegedly come to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh at his home.
The Arlington County Police Department has not responded to a request for records of police activity on Blinken&#8217;s block, saying it would take 60 days to process.
The protest site lies just barely on the Arlington side of the Arlington-Fairfax County border. Fairfax police provided records showing that on December 8, Arlington requested assistance with “10x protesters blocking the roadway right at the border between the two” jurisdictions. On January 26 of this year, they made record of “protesters gathering at night using air horns.”

On January 28, another caller complained of “at least 20 people protesting” with bullhorns, vehicles “parked all over the road,” and protesters “yelling lots of profanity.” Fairfax police responded that “Arlington County PD has the lead on any enforcement action to be taken against protesters / Also, law against protesting at a residence has been deemed to be likely unconstitutional.”
According to a lawsuit filed in federal court, the leader of “protests in front of the Israeli Embassy, and in front of the home of Secretary of State Antony Blinken” is <a href="https://www.carnegiecouncil.org/people/hazami-barmada" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hazami Barmada</a>, who has worked as a “strategy consultant for the United Nations.”
A rabbi filed the lawsuit against Barmada in May alleging a “Hate Violation Based on Religious and/or Ethnic Identity” following a “physical attack on Rabbi Herzfeld while he was praying in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C.” The lawsuit says Barmada’s group blasted sirens more than 1,000 times louder than allowed by law at the rabbi, while Barmada’s group wore earplugs.
In response, Barmada sought from a D.C. city judge—and was granted—a restraining order against the rabbi preventing him from coming near Barmada.
The home address listed in the lawsuit for Barmada, who presents herself as a tent-dwelling radical, is a $1.5 million house with an indoor pool.
One of the groups behind the protests at the Israeli Embassy and Blinken&#8217;s home is the Palestinian Youth Movement, which is bankrolled in part by the Bafrayung Fund, <a href="https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/832811578/202343199349100304/IRS990PF" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tax records show</a>. The fund is led by Rachel Gelman, a Levi Strauss heir, cousin of Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), and daughter of a Biden appointee.
