Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed once put his name on a letter cheering Egypt&#8217;s president — who was a senior Muslim Brotherhood figure — and urged him to &#8220;purge the media and the police,&#8221; according to a <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/abdul-el-sayed-called-on-egypts-muslim-brotherhood-to-purge-the-media-and-police-shortly-before-islamic-government-arrested-reporters-for-insulting-islam/">report</a> from the Washington Free Beacon.
The explosive document was also reported in April by conservative firebrand Laura Loomer.
The Arabic-language statement ran on the Egyptian news site Al-Ahram Gate in November 2012, just days after then-President Mohamed Morsi grabbed sweeping new powers for himself. Forty-six self-described leaders of the Egyptian-American community signed on, hailing Morsi&#8217;s moves as &#8220;revolutionary&#8221; and blasting critics who wanted the United States and Europe to step in.
Signature No. 33 was &#8220;Dr. Abdul Rahman El-Sayed&#8221; of New York, back when the future politician was a medical student at Columbia. Sources who follow Arabic-language media told the Free Beacon it&#8217;s the same man now running for Senate.
His campaign didn&#8217;t respond to a request for comment.
Morsi&#8217;s power play was slammed at the time, with one liberal Egyptian lawmaker branding it outright tyranny and even Human Rights Watch warning it gutted the rule of law.
The purge followed after that. Over the next several months, reporters were hauled into court for allegedly insulting Islam and the president, and critical coverage vanished from Egyptian websites, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists.
Morsi didn&#8217;t last. The military toppled him in 2013, and Egypt banned the Brotherhood and designated it a terror group.
But as the Free Beacon notes, that letter wasn’t the first time El-Sayed championed the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2011 pieces for the Huffington Post and the Guardian, El-Sayed told Americans not to worry about a Brotherhood takeover, insisting it would look nothing like Iran or Hamas.
El-Sayed&#8217;s father-in-law helps lead an Islamic group that federal officials have linked to the Brotherhood and is a top donor to a super PAC boosting his son-in-law&#8217;s campaign.
&#8220;This should raise serious questions,&#8221; Mariam Wahba of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies told the Free Beacon about the 2012 letter and El-Sayed&#8217;s past support for the Brotherhood.
The Brotherhood&#8217;s rap sheet is long and bloody.
A 2025 Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) <a href="https://www.fdd.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/fdd_memo_muslim_brotherhood.pdf">research memo</a> called the group a &#8220;gateway&#8221; to terrorism, one that feeds radical ideas to members who later split off to carry out violence. Hamas calls itself the Brotherhood&#8217;s Palestinian wing in its own original charter.
“In Egypt, the Brotherhood’s original branch gave rise to Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ), which assassinated President Anwar Sadat in 1981 after he made peace with Israel,” FDD noted. “In 1993, Brotherhood alumnus Ayman al-Zawahiri took the reins of EIJ and merged it into al-Qaeda.”
The carnage isn&#8217;t ancient history. In Jordan, authorities in 2025 busted Brotherhood-linked cells that were reportedly making rockets and drones, then banned the group entirely. In Lebanon, the local affiliate took credit for multiple rocket attacks on northern Israel alongside Hezbollah.
In Yemen, a co-founder of the Brotherhood-aligned Islah party was blacklisted by the Treasury Department over his ties to Osama bin Laden. In the United States, Brotherhood affiliates have been convicted of bankrolling Hamas and al-Qaeda, FDD notes.
The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy <a href="https://isgap.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/MB-Project-Final-251117-01.pdf">identified</a> four primary arenas where the Muslim Brotherhood tries to gain entry: influencing government and politics, targeting colleges and students, using the legal system, and controlling the media and storyline.
Washington is finally cracking down. President Donald Trump announced Thursday that negotiators have his reached what he described as a &#8220;historic agreement&#8221; aimed at ending Hamas&#8217; control of Gaza, though the deal still awaits final approval from the terrorist group.
&#8220;Today, the Board of Peace reached a HISTORIC agreement for the COMPLETE DISARMAMENT of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza,&#8221; Trump wrote on Truth Social. &#8220;This is a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY.&#8221;
<a href="https://www.axios.com/2026/07/30/hamas-weapons-gaza-deal-israel-board-peace">Axios</a> reported Thursday that U.S. officials and the Board of Peace believe Hamas could formally sign the agreement within days after agreeing to its terms during negotiations mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. However, the outlet noted that Israeli officials and Western diplomats remain skeptical that Hamas will ultimately follow through with its commitments.
According to Trump, the deal would pave the way for Gaza to be governed by a new Palestinian government working alongside the Board of Peace while ensuring Israel &#8220;will have the security it deserves, with Gaza no longer used as a base for terror attacks.&#8221;
The president said the agreement would be implemented in phases as Hamas and other armed groups surrender their weapons, after which Israeli forces would withdraw and an international stabilization force would help a new Palestinian police force maintain security.
Under the reported framework, Hamas would surrender both heavy and light weapons over six to eight months, disclose the locations of tunnels and weapons depots, and allow a new Palestinian government to gradually assume control of Gaza. Israeli withdrawals would occur only after areas are independently verified as demilitarized, per the <a href="https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-904113">Jerusalem Post</a>.
Trump thanked Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for their mediation efforts and praised his negotiating team, declaring that &#8220;the threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will NOT be allowed to rebuild.&#8221;

A gay cruise carrying roughly 1,900 passengers was denied entry by both Turkey and Egypt during a Mediterranean voyage after authorities in each country refused to allow the ship to dock.
Atlantis Events, the world&#8217;s largest LGBT vacation company, scheduled the Scarlet Lady to stop in Kusadasi, Turkey, on July 7 as part of its “Athens to Venice” trip. 
However, Turkish officials said the cruise was organized by groups whose &#8220;behaviors do not align with the structure of our society,” according to local authorities <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/16/world/middleeast/gay-cruise-turkey-egypt.html">cited</a> by the New York Times.
The ship then rerouted to Alexandria, Egypt, but Egyptian authorities withdrew permission to dock about four hours before its scheduled arrival. Unlike Turkey, Egyptian officials did not publicly explain the decision. 
Atlantis Events CEO Rich Campbell said the company had previously docked in both countries without incident and that it was the first time in the company&#8217;s history that one of its cruises had been denied entry for political reasons. 
“We successfully sailed a similar itinerary last year without issue,” Campbell <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/jul/09/lgbtq-cruise-ship-refused-entry-egypt-turkey">said</a> in a statement to passengers. “So we were surprised by this unfortunate decision.”
Broadway legend Patti LuPone, who was on the cruise to perform, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DaUkpPyCosk/">said</a> she was “shocked” by Turkey&#8217;s and Egypt’s decisions.
“A ship — a magnificent ship — full of gay men. And me. Denied entry to Turkey simply because of who is on board,” LuPone said. “I am furious, but I am sailing.”
Kyle Olsen, the owner of the LGBT tour company Hermes Holidays, said that Turkey’s ban empowered Egypt to also turn away the cruise. “I worry that other countries are going to be emboldened in turn to ban gay cruises from their ports as well,” he added.
Turkey’s government under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has taken a hardline stance toward the LGBT movement over the past decade, CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2026/07/02/europe/turkey-cruise-lgbtq-american-blocked-intl">reports</a>. Authorities have repeatedly banned Pride marches and other LGBT events, citing public safety and security concerns. 
While homosexuality is <a href="https://www.equaldex.com/region/turkey">legal</a> in Turkey, the country does not recognize same-sex marriage. Egypt also does not recognize same-sex marriage, and authorities have used morality laws to target LGBT people. Both countries have overwhelmingly Muslim populations.

The mayor, never one to pass up a grievance, used his own press event for a bus-speed initiative to sneak in a jab at the World Cup, repeatedly claiming the Egyptian national soccer team got cheated in its loss to Argentina.

Here&#8217;s the problem: the evidence doesn&#8217;t back him up.

The Egyptian Football Association said that it &#8220;rejects such activities&#8221; such as promoting homosexuality during the soccer match that &#8220;directly contradict the cultural, religious and social values ​​in the region, especially in Arab and Islamic societies.&#8221;
Iran made a similar statement.
President of Iran&#8217;s Football Federation, Mehdi Taj, spoke to state media and denounced the decision to use pride branding for the match.
&#8220;Both Egypt and we have objected, because this is an unreasonable and illogical move that essentially signals support for a particular group, and we must definitely address this point.&#8221;
Taj said Iran would bring up the issue at a FIFA Council meeting next week in Qatar, another country that will start their quest for the World Cup in Seattle.
Egypt, Iran, and Qatar have laws against homosexuality.
In Egypt, if someone is caught engaging in homosexual activity, it’s punishable with up to three years in prison, and they may be forced to pay a hefty fine, according to Human Rights Watch. In Iran, capital punishment remains the maximum penalty for homosexuality under the law.

After leaving Israel, Trump traveled to Egypt to cement “peace in the Middle East” by bringing the Arab and Muslim countries together. Trump went to the resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to lead a summit with nearly three dozen world leaders and signed the “The Trump Declaration for Enduring Peace and Prosperity” alongside the leaders of Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar.
What comes next?: While many questions about the future of Gaza remain, Trump’s message in Egypt was optimistic: “Together, we&#8217;ve achieved what everybody said was impossible. At long last, we have peace in the Middle East.”
Israel has yet to recover the remains of numerous hostages. While those released alive have returned, the bodies of several victims who died in Hamas custody are believed to remain in Gaza, possibly lost amid the widespread destruction.

Humanitarian aid is flowing into the warzone after Israeli forces pulled back from the interior of Gaza for the ceasefire. According to Trump, Gazans will be assisted in the rebuilding of the enclave by foreign money and manpower, with much of it coming from Arab and Muslim countries.
Hamas intransigence: Under the Trump peace plan, Gaza is to be administered by a mix of Palestinian and foreign technocrats led by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Their work would be overseen by a board chaired by Trump.
But Hamas must first give up any future role in running Gaza — something the terror group has refused to do. The plan also demands Hamas’s complete disarmament, another condition the group has not met.

Topline: The high-profile race for mayor in New York City is just three weeks away – and a new controversy has erupted surrounding the leading candidate, far-Left Democrat Zohran Mamdani. A <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/10/12/us-news/mamdanis-mayoral-campaign-took-in-13000-in-illegal-foreign-campaign-cash-records-show/">new report</a> alleges that his campaign potentially accepted thousands of dollars in illegal foreign donations.
Morning Wire spoke to Miranda Devine, a columnist at the New York Post and host of the Podforce One podcast, for more on this story. (The following transcript has been lightly edited for clarity.)
Morning Wire: We just had news break from the New York Post that Mamdani&#8217;s mayoral campaign took in potentially $13,000 in illegal foreign donations. What are the implications of this? Do you think Mamdani will be held to account – or will this affect the race at all?
Devine: I doubt very much. I mean, Democrats all over the country have been caught red-handed doing all sorts of nefarious things or threatening to murder their Republican foes and nothing happens to them – unless the federal government, the DOJ, perhaps under Pam Bondi, is ballsy enough to actually charge him. There have been plenty of other politicians, particularly on the Republican side, who&#8217;ve gotten into trouble and been charged and even indicted and convicted of this kind of foreign fraud or election fraud. I don&#8217;t see why Mamdani would be any different. On the other hand, we had Donald Trump indicted and charged last year during his campaign – and there&#8217;s something on the nose about, you know, three weeks before an election, about intervening in a sort of illegal sense, which I think would backfire in New York, which is 70 percent Democrat.
Morning Wire: Right, so that might actually work to Mamdani&#8217;s advantage if Bondi continues to be aggressive, as she has been on the national stage. We&#8217;ve also just seen Mamdani&#8217;s wife on social media openly mourn the death of a Palestinian influencer – a man referred to as “Mr. FAFO,” who celebrated the October 7th terror attacks.
Devine: Yes, look, I mean, repellent, but not surprising. This is an influencer who is a Hamas guy. He&#8217;s a Hamas fan. For Mamdani&#8217;s wife to be openly celebrating him on social media just shows how clueless they both are about the optics – in a very Jewish city – of celebrating the murderers of so many Jews on October 7. And particularly at this time when the hostages are coming back, when Donald Trump has managed to pull off this immense peace deal. It seemed churlish and sort of yesterday. She&#8217;s operating on a yesterday view. And it really shows you how he and his entire family are so unsuitable for any kind of leadership role, let alone in America&#8217;s greatest city.
Morning Wire: What do you expect in the next few weeks in this race? Are there any signs of Sliwa dropping out, or any movement for Cuomo – or does Mamdani have this wrapped up?
Devine: Cuomo has surged in the polls most recently, and that&#8217;s because he&#8217;s benefited almost entirely from Eric Adams dropping out. Eric Adams was at the bottom of the pile, not doing well at all. Curtis Sliwa is at 15%. In a very Democrat city, he really hasn&#8217;t managed to make a mark. And, you know, there&#8217;s a lot of push for him to pull out, so that it&#8217;s just a Cuomo versus Mamdani race. Cuomo is now at about 33%, Mamdani is at 46%. With Sliwa in the race, there&#8217;s really no hope. Cuomo, he’s starting to up his game a little bit. There are a few ads that are coming out. Mamdani is being booed and heckled wherever he goes. It&#8217;s been noted that he has a vast security force around him. … He&#8217;s such a smiling sort of Teflon candidate and Cuomo is battered and bruised and has enormous amounts of baggage he&#8217;s lugging around from his governorship. And yet, now Mamdani is starting to have some of the gloss come off him. And look, it&#8217;s really up to Cuomo in the next three weeks. Is he going to be able to convince Sliwa to drop out? Is he going to be able to put some more energy and pep into his campaign?
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Judges Block Trump&#8217;s Efforts To Deploy Guard To Blue Cities</h2>

Topline: President Trump says the deployments are needed to protect federal property and crush violent unrest in Chicago and Portland, but the efforts have been held up in the courts due to ongoing lawsuits.
The Trump administration is facing expected pushback from the sanctuary states of Illinois and Oregon, which don’t believe President Trump can federalize state National Guard from their own states, or from other states such as Texas and California, to come in amid a rise in anti-ICE demonstrations, some of which have turned violent.
Although judges in these cases say troops must stand down for now, the Trump administration is finding more ways to expand manpower in these areas. That includes continuing to pull Border Patrol agents from the border and ICE agents from other offices in other states.
The Trump administration is still pushing for National Guard deployments amid a 1,000% uptick in assaults on immigration agents. In the meantime, additional ICE officers and Border Patrol agents are deployed in Portland and Chicago to provide security, conduct immigration raids, and work in detention centers to process new detainees.
Missing children: President Trump inherited a massive crisis of lost alien children from the Biden administration.
John Fabbricatore is leading the Trump administration’s effort at Health and Human Services (HHS) to find the more than 320,000 migrant kids who crossed the border without parents and went unaccounted for under former President Joe Biden.
Some of these children were never even given court dates for their immigration cases, and others never showed. When children cross the border unaccompanied, they are sent to HHS, which is tasked with connecting them with their sponsor in the United States.
However, under Biden, HHS was vetting these sponsors with a phone call and a photo. As a result, many of these children ended up being trafficked and in very inhumane conditions.
Fabbricatore told The Daily Wire that the Trump administration is prioritizing not only finding these children, but also fixing the vetting system that allowed this tragedy to unfold. That means making changes to the system inherited from former President Biden.
The Trump administration requires sponsors and other adults living with them to submit their fingerprints to undergo background checks. Additionally, sponsors are required to submit proof of income to show they can support the child. Sponsors who claim they are related to the child will also undergo DNA testing.
Homeland Security agents also meet with the sponsor, and HHS officials visit the home to ensure it’s a safe place for the child. Migrants 14 or older can opt to leave with the help of the federal government, which will assist them in reconnecting with their families back home by offering flights and a $2,500 stipend. All of this is voluntary and has to be approved by an immigration judge.

The president met with hostages and their families on Monday after the hostages were released by Hamas, then spoke to the world in public remarks in Israel. He then traveled to Egypt, where he participated in a Middle East peace summit with other world leaders. The United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey signed the much-discussed peace deal before the world.
&#8220;It took 3,000 years to get to this point. Can you believe it?&#8221; Trump said as he signed the historic deal. &#8220;And it&#8217;s going to hold up, too.&#8221;
He also received the &#8220;Order of the Nile&#8221; from the President of Egypt, the country&#8217;s highest state honor, for negotiating the deal between Israel and Hamas. The Order of the Nile is a collar made of solid gold covered in Pharaonic engravings, <a href="https://www.newarab.com/news/egypt-awards-trump-order-nile-gaza-peace-efforts">according to the New Arab</a>. It represents wealth and endurance, protection from evil, and prosperity brought by the Nile.

&#8220;Rebuilding is maybe going to be the easiest part,&#8221; noted Trump, adding: &#8220;We know how to build better than anybody in the world.&#8221;
He acknowledged that across the Middle East, but particularly in Gaza and Israel, people have been &#8220;working, striving, hoping,&#8221; and praying for peace.
That day has finally arrived, the president said.
&#8220;They have done things over the last month that I think were really unthinkable,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;Nobody thought this could happen. With the historic agreement we&#8217;ve just signed, those prayers of millions have finally been answered.&#8221;
As he reflected on the footage of the hostages finally reuniting with their families, Trump said that the &#8220;level of love&#8221; they are showing one another &#8220;is just incredible.&#8221;

President Trump Visits Israel And Egypt After Gaza Ceasefire Takes Effect

World Leaders Laud Trump As Peacemaker As He Rallies Nations Behind Israel, Hamas Deal

Vice President JD Vance said that there will be no American “boots on the ground” in Israel, though troops in the region will monitor the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the terror group Hamas.
Vance appeared on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” on Sunday and clarified the role of U.S. service members in Israel after a report last week said 200 U.S. soldiers would be stationed in Israel. Vance said that U.S. Central Command “already [has] people in that region of the world” to help with oversight.
“We&#8217;re not planning to put boots on the ground. What we already have is a U.S. Central Command, we already have people in that region of the world,” said Vance. “They&#8217;re going to monitor the terms of the ceasefire. They&#8217;re going to monitor, ensure the humanitarian aid is flowing.”
The vice president specified that the Trump administration will not put “boots on the ground in Gaza or Israel,” but “Central Command troops that are already there … are going to monitor this peace proposal.”

On CBS News’ “Face The Nation” on Sunday, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/badr-abdelatty-egypt-foreign-minister-face-the-nation-transcript-10-12-2025/">confirmed</a> that Egypt is in the process of coordinating with other Arab countries to deploy troops to Gaza to train Gazan police forces as well as control the enclave that has been ruled by terrorists for decades.
“We are in the process now, as we speak, [of] providing training and coordination with Jordan to train up to 5,000 Palestinians to be deployed in Gaza,” said Abdelatty. “Deployment of international forces is on the table,” he said, adding that Egypt supports the idea.
“We are going to support and to commit troops within specific parameters,” the foreign minister said, though he noted that Egyptian troops would only be committed once certain demands are met, such as receiving a clearly defined mission for an international force from the U.N. security council.

JD Vance: There Will Be No U.S. ‘Boots On The Ground’ In Israel, Gaza

A deal has been reached for the first phase of an agreement to end Israel’s two-year war in Gaza, President Donald Trump said on Wednesday.
“I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan,” said Trump in a post on <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115340993884364431">Truth Social</a>. “This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.”
“All Parties will be treated fairly! This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America, and we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen. BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!” he added.
Trump will be traveling to Israel in the coming days, he <a href="https://x.com/barakravid/status/1976083986008215810">told</a> Axios reporter Barack Ravid. The president said he may give a speech in the Knesset, as well.
“They want me to give a speech at the Knesset and I will definitely do that if they want me to,” the president said.
Trump&#8217;s address to the Knesset would be the first by a U.S. president in nearly two decades. President George W. Bush was the last sitting president to address the Israeli parliament. Bush spoke in the Knesset in 2008 to mark Israel&#8217;s 60th anniversary.
Negotiators for Israel and the terror group Hamas have huddled in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, for days with mediators to hammer out an agreement on the first phase of the U.S.-backed framework for peace in Gaza and a pathway to a Palestinian state. The first phase of the deal will be <a href="https://x.com/weijia/status/1976071162514870327">presented</a> to the Israeli cabinet on Thursday for approval.
As part of the first phase, Hamas plans to release the 20 living hostages this weekend, according to the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/egypt-gaza-talks-kushner-witkoff-israel-hamas-news-10-08-2025-ac80d3ed50ff2a9b4106ab5e13156651">Associated Press</a>. Hamas is responsible for the bodies of 28 dead hostages, though it is unclear whether the terror group can locate and retrieve them. Once the Israeli cabinet approves the agreement, the terror group has 72 hours to return the hostages.
Israel&#8217;s military has 24 hours from the time the deal is approved by the Israeli cabinet to withdraw from the heart of Gaza to a predetermined boundary.
The first phase of the deal, as presented by Trump last week, involved a swap of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel for the remaining hostages, living and dead, held by the terror group Hamas. The framework presented by Trump had Hamas releasing all 48 hostages within 72 hours of an agreement in exchange for hundreds of prisoners from Israel.
Negotiations are reportedly stuck on the hostage release. Israeli officials were concerned that Hamas may not be able to retrieve all the bodies of the dead hostages for return to Israel.

Diplomats converged on the seaside city of Sharm el-Sheikh this week as Israel and Hamas negotiators drew close to an agreement. 
Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, and son-in-law and former Middle East adviser, Jared Kushner, were expected to head to Egypt earlier this week. Qatar Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, was set to join negotiators in person in Egypt on Wednesday, as well as Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, according to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/07/world/middleeast/trump-witkoff-kushner-israel-hamas-talks.html">The New York Times</a>.

A senior White House official <a href="https://x.com/weijia/status/1976071162514870327">told</a> CBS News that the Israeli cabinet would vote on the deal on Thursday. &#8220;Once they vote yes, Israel has to withdraw to the line which should take under 24 hours,&#8221; the official said.

Trump: Israel And Hamas Have A Deal On First Phase Of Middle East Peace Plan

A group of Arab states on Monday publicly backed President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza and create a pathway for a Palestinian state.
The governments of Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt released a joint statement on Monday backing the plan after Trump rolled it out in a White House event alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The joint statement of the Arab states was signed by the foreign minister of each.
The Arab states “welcome President Donald J Trump&#8217;s leadership and his sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza, and assert their confidence in his ability to find a path to peace,” the joint statement said.
“The ministers welcome the announcement by President Trump regarding his proposal to end the war, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people and advance a comprehensive peace, as well as his announcement that he will not allow the annexation of the West Bank,” the statement continued.
“The ministers affirm their readiness to engage positively and constructively with the United States and the parties toward finalizing the agreement and ensuring its implementation, in a manner that ensures peace, security, and stability for the peoples of the region,” it said.

Trump announced the plan on Monday, celebrating “a historic day for peace.” The president said that, in addition to providing a pathway to peace between Israel and Gaza and laying the groundwork for a Palestinian state, the framework could create “eternal peace in the Middle East.”

The wide support for the agreement among Arab states places additional pressure on Hamas to agree to the deal. Under the terms of the agreement, the terror group, and others like it, would be demilitarized, dismantled, and blocked from having administrative control over the Gaza Strip.
“If Hamas rejects the deal, which is always possible – they’re the only one left, everyone else has accepted it – but I have a feeling we’re going to have a positive answer. But if not, you know, Bibi, you’d have our full backing to do what you have to do,” said Trump.
Netanyahu echoed Trump’s threat in remarks following the U.S. president.
“If Hamas rejects your plan, Mr. President, or if they supposedly accept it, and then, basically, do everything to counter it, then Israel will finish the job by itself. This can be done the easy way, or it can be done the hard way. But it will be done,” the prime minister said.
