The Young Turks commentator Cenk Uygur unloaded on Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) over his recent comments about Harvard University and his stance on Israel, calling him a &#8220;fraud&#8221; and accusing him of turning into a Republican.
Uygur was responding to an <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/fetterman-rips-his-alma-mater-says-harvard-was-always-a-little-pinko-but-now-he-doesnt-even-recognize-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview with Fetterman</a> that was published Friday by <a href="https://www.semafor.com/newsletter/01/05/2024/conservatism-chaos-and-e-jean-carroll-the-gop-field-makes-its-closing-pitch-in-iowa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Semafor</a> — during which the Pennsylvania senator confirmed that he was not a &#8220;progressive&#8221; and criticized his alma mater in the wake of former Harvard University President Claudine Gay&#8217;s ouster.
&#8220;As an alum of Harvard — look, I graduated 25 years ago, and of course it was always a little pinko. But now, I don’t recognize it,&#8221; Fetterman said of the Ivy League institution.
During the same interview, he told Senator&#8217;s David Weigel that he would not be surprised to see more Democrats in Congress calling for a ceasefire in Israel&#8217;s war against the terrorist group Hamas.
&#8220;More and more of my colleagues are calling for it. It’s so strange. Why aren’t you calling for Hamas to surrender? If Hamas surrendered, and turned over their guns, all the killing and all the misery would [end],&#8221; he said.
Uygur took issue with Fetterman&#8217;s comments, however, and took to X to voice his objections.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/cenk-uygur">Cenk Uygur</a>, founder of The Young Turks, was in a state of denial when he announced on Wednesday that he will run for President of the United States.
The progressive commentator, an immigrant from Turkey, reportedly said he does not believe the U.S. Constitution&#8217;s <a href="https://harvardlawreview.org/forum/vol-128/on-the-meaning-of-natural-born-citizen/">&#8220;natural born citizen&#8221; clause</a> will disqualify him in a campaign for the Democratic Party&#8217;s 2024 nomination against President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden">Joe Biden</a>.
In <a href="https://www.semafor.com/article/10/11/2023/cenk-uygur-running-for-president-as-democrat">speaking with Semafor</a>, Uygur predicted a &#8220;slam dunk&#8221; victory if and when the issue reaches the U.S. Supreme Court, suggesting the legal challenge was a &#8220;good reason&#8221; to run. &#8220;I’m tired of 25 million Americans having this albatross around their neck,&#8221; he added.
Uygur, 53, previously <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/03/03/us/elections/results-california-primary-elections.html">ran an unsuccessful campaign</a> in 2020 for a U.S. House seat vacated by former Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA), but eligibility for a congressional seat is different from the requirements for the presidency.
As <a href="https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S1-C5-1/ALDE_00013692/">stated</a> in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution: &#8220;No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.&#8221;
Social media became awash in comments mocking the announcement.
&#8220;His first act as a candidate for president is to violate the constitution of the United States because he is not a natural born citizen,&#8221; talk radio host Larry O&#8217;Connor <a href="https://twitter.com/LarryOConnor/status/1712265510409195770">said</a> in a post to X. &#8220;Actually this kind of makes him the perfect candidate for the Democrats.&#8221;
&#8220;You weren’t born here so you aren’t even allowed to run for president yet you’re taking donations under the premise that you are? Sounds like fraud Cenk! Not a smart move,&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/robbystarbuck/status/1712273507722137966">said</a> former Tennessee congressional candidate Robby Starbuck.

They were responding to a post by Uygur linking to a <a href="https://www.cenkforamerica.com/">&#8220;Cenk for America&#8221; website</a> that featured a button for donations. As of press time, his ActBlue page showed that Uygur had garnered 732 donations, though the total amount of money raised was not advertised.
The eligibility issue has come up in recent months with another political figure. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a Hollywood actor born in Austria who became governor of California, said in a June interview that <a href="https://variety.com/2023/film/news/arnold-schwarzenegger-president-2024-says-win-1235646563/">&#8220;of course&#8221;</a> he would run for president — if he was eligible.
Uygur&#8217;s entry into the race came two days after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rfk-jr-switches-to-running-for-president-as-an-independent">announced</a> that he was ending his bid for the Democratic Party&#8217;s presidential nomination to run as an independent.
Biden has <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/dem_primaries/">dominated</a> the 2024 Democratic Party primary polls, but general election polls showing matches against the GOP frontrunner, former President Donald Trump, and others, <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/pres_general/">have been much closer</a>.

“The Young Turks” co-host Ana Kasparian doubled down this week on slamming woke terms like &#8220;birthing person&#8221; after she <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/far-left-pundit-posts-viral-tweet-ripping-woke-trans-inclusive-terms-for-women-left-attacks-her">angered</a> left-wing activists online last month when she ripped “trans inclusive” terms for being “degrading” to women.
Kasparian, an unapologetic member of the Left, has caught flak from some extremists on her side of the aisle in the past for engaging in debate and discussion with people on the Right, most notably The Daily Wire&#8217;s Ben Shapiro back in 2021.
&#8220;Lol! The meltdowns over wanting be referred to as a woman rather than a &#8216;birthing person&#8217; is pretty wild,&#8221; she tweeted this week. &#8220;I’ll never apologize for that, especially as biological woman who has had a f***ing lifetime of being told I’m less than. I’m a woman. No apologies.&#8221;
When asked if anyone had actually called her a &#8220;birthing person,&#8221; Kasparian responded, &#8220;Yes &#8230; I live in CA.&#8221;
Last month, Kasparian ripped woke terminology, saying, &#8220;I&#8217;m a woman. Please don&#8217;t ever refer to me as a person with a uterus, birthing person, or person who menstruates.&#8221;

Taking on a critic from the Left complaining about so-called inclusion, Kasparian responded, “I have zero problem with inclusion. None. But there’s gotta be a better way than boiling it down to a body part, no? Especially in the context of having reproductive rights taken away from people who just see women as a baby-making vessel. That’s all I’m saying.”
The liberal host was attacked and called names, such as “transphobe,” by some on the Left.

Cenk Uygur&#8217;s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yM64v82pKM4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">latest unhinged rant</a> saw the Young Turks host attack Catholic priests, accuse the right-wing of cheering on pedophilia, and make a bizarre supposition about why Tim Pool wears a wool cap.
The volatile leftist&#8217;s diatribe on his internet show was triggered by Saturday night&#8217;s mass shooting in a Colorado Springs gay bar, which he erroneously said Pool and other conservatives applauded. Several liberals have claimed conservative opposition to pedophilia, radical gender theory, and grooming children through drag shows is putting LGBT lives at risk.
“The right-wing loves pedophiles,” Uygur said. &#8220;There’s no end to the depravity of right-wing media.”
A particular observation by Pool in response to the shooting, which left five dead, seemed to set off Uygur. Initial speculation swirled that the suspect, whose lawyers have just revealed identifies as &#8220;non-binary,&#8221; launched his attack in Club Q because it was set to host a drag show for children the next day.
“We shouldn’t tolerate pedophiles grooming kids. Club Q had a grooming event,” Pool said, before suggesting the challenge facing decent people is “how to prevent the violence and stop the grooming.”
Uygur took the comment to mean that Pool was somehow justifying violence.
“He’s a monstrous right-winger,” Uygur shouted. “He’s a terrible, terrible person. [He thinks] &#8216;all gay people are pedophiles and groomers and we should all attack them and do all these horrible things so we can goad our lunatic audience.’ And yes, Tim Pool, Matt Walsh, Tucker Carlson, you all have lunatics in your audience and you weaponize them and you know it.&#8221;
“I’m sick of these right-wingers,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Look at it. They’re almost celebrating it! I mean, he nearly brought pom-poms to the shooting!”
Rage against pedophilia, Uygur said, should instead be directed at the Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts of America.
“What do we know about the giant cases of pedophilia in this country?&#8221; he asked his audience. &#8220;Number one is Catholic priests, one of the most conservative professions in America.
“And the right-wing’s like, ‘Yes! I love how they molest the little kids like that! Go get ‘em, Boy Scouts! Go get ‘em, priests!’” he charged.
“They love the Boy Scouts. A nest of vipers and pedophiles and groomers, okay? And the right-wing’s like, ‘Yes! The Boy Scouts! I love how they molest the little kids like that! Uygur brought the pedophilia fulmination back to his initial target, Pool, with a strange explanation for why the YouTube and podcast star often sports a ski cap.
“The reason Tim Pool wears a beanie is because he’s trying to contain the pedophilia that’s in his head,&#8221; Uygur said. &#8220;That’s why he’s always talking about it. He’s seeing it everywhere. Why? Because he’s projecting.”
However bizarre Uygur&#8217;s attack on Pool, priests, and the Boy Scouts may seem, he will have to work harder to top his most unhinged rant.
“If I were the benevolent dictator of the world, I would legalize bestiality where you are giving — you’re pleasuring the animal,&#8221; Uygur said in 2013. &#8220;You see what I’m saying?”

President Trump announced on Tuesday that he was against the idea of allowing “poorly run” states to use the coronavirus as an “excuse” to ask for federal money to help with problems that existed prior to the pandemic.

The elimination of Sanctuary Cities, Payroll Taxes, and perhaps Capital Gains Taxes, must be put on the table,” said Trump in a tweet on Tuesday morning. “Also lawsuit indemnification &amp; business deductions for restaurants &amp; ent.”

While Trump has been critical of state bailouts before – notably, he blasted Illinois for mismanagement after lawmakers requested pension money inside of a coronavirus bailout – the president’s call-out on Tuesday prompted an extreme response from Cenk Uyger, the founder of the progressive media network The Young Turks.
“If we had a Democrat with balls when we take over, they’d cut off funding to red states &amp; make them beg for their handout,” said Uyger, who blasted Republicans in his response to the president’s tweet. “Almost all of them are welfare queens who live off the blue states. Republican-run states are on average miserable failures who take more from federal govt.”

After Uyger received blowback from the Left, with many people accusing him of trying to harm poor people living in red states, the progressive news host justified his response in a message to “all the liberals hating on this tweet.”

Eyes glossy and face red, far-left founder of &#8220;The Young Turks&#8221; Cenk Uygur completely melted down on his YouTube show Tuesday night over presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) dismal Super Tuesday performance.
Uygur, a failed far-left congressional candidate and enthusiastic Sanders backer, went off on the supposed un-electability of former Vice President Joe Biden, calling the Democratic presidential candidate &#8220;senile&#8221; and vowing that Biden will not be the Democrat Party&#8217;s nominee. After commenters poured in with remarks about his apparent &#8220;meltdown,&#8221; Cenk, appearing to be tearing up, walked off his own show.
&#8220;Look, a week ago, I would have told you,  &#8212; I did tell you, Super Tuesday, I think we got this!&#8221; an irate Uygur told his viewers.
&#8220;We thought it was almost over, Bernie was gonna win,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Now, it&#8217;s not over, now we&#8217;re in a tie. And now we got absolute dig-in warfare against the establishment. But we didn&#8217;t start the war! They&#8217;ll lie about it again. We didn&#8217;t start the war. They started the war!&#8221;
Uygur correctly highlighted the media letting former President Barack Obama off the hook for praising murderous Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, while Sanders was pressed (mildly) on similar rhetoric.
&#8220;Obama said the same thing!&#8221; yelled the host, directing the media: &#8220;God damn it, tell the truth! God damn it, tell the truth!&#8221;
&#8220;If you&#8217;re not gonna do it, we&#8217;re gonna do it,&#8221; he promised. &#8220;If you wanna go to war, we&#8217;ll go to war. And this is what this is. We cannot let Biden win.&#8221;
&#8220;Biden is not gonna best Trump,&#8221; said Uygur. &#8220;Biden is either near senile, or actually senile. Watch any of the tapes! And Biden lies nonstop. He&#8217;s gonna get caught!&#8221;
The progressive yelled that Biden will not beat Trump in the 2020 election, noting that the establishment&#8217;s 2016 Democrat Party presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, lost to a &#8220;doofus&#8221; like Trump.
&#8220;We&#8217;re gonna lose to Trump again and maybe lose our democracy?&#8221; Uygur said of running Biden. &#8220;Hell no.&#8221;
&#8220;Biden is not capable of wining this,&#8221; he reiterated, adding a promise that &#8220;Bernie Sanders is going to be the nominee. I&#8217;m telling you right now.&#8221;

Likely adding to the emotion spilling out of Uygur on Tuesday night, the &#8220;Young Turks&#8221; host lost his bid to fill the Congressional seat vacated by disgraced former Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA).
&#8220;According to the New York Times, [Uygur] came in fourth place, with about 5% of the vote in California’s 25th congressional district,&#8221; <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/the-young-turks-founder-cenk-uygur-loses-bid-for-katie-hills-congressional-seat/">The Wrap</a> reported Wednesday morning. &#8220;In the lead were Democratic Assemblywoman Christy Smith and Republican defense contractor Mike Garcia, who appear headed for a runoff election, according to the Los Angeles Times. Former GOP Rep. Steve Knight, who lost his seat to Hill in 2018 and sought to get it back, was in third place.&#8221;

Far-left founder of progressive political show &#8220;The Young Turks&#8221; and Democratic congressional candidate Cenk Uygur urged his staffers not to unionize, a report from <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/the-young-turks-progressive-founder-urged-his-staff-not-to-unionize_n_5e540686c5b6ad3de3823a32?yqt">Huff Post</a> outlined Monday.
Uygur, who is running for the congressional seat of disgraced Democratic Rep. Katie Hill (CA), reportedly pleaded with employees at an in-person, all-staff meeting earlier this month to avoid unionizing.
Before the meeting, <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/news/progressive-young-turks-founder-cenk-uygur-asked-staff-not-to-unionize/">National Review</a> noted in a report published Monday, &#8220;a Twitter account purportedly representing the employees of The Young Turks announced their &#8216;decision to go union,&#8217; saying they are &#8216;proud&#8217; to &#8216;put into practice in our workplace the values that our work helps bring to the screen every day.'&#8221;
The statement read, &#8220;We stand in solidarity with the renaissance of labor activism we see now in workplaces of all kinds throughout the country.&#8221;
According to staffers at the meeting, however, Uygur argued against unionizing, &#8220;at one point throwing his papers on the ground and reprimanding an employee,&#8221; National Review noted.
“The reality is we’re in a precarious position,” Uygur reprotedly said. “We’re in a digital media landscape where almost no one makes money or is sustainable.”
“For a smaller digital media company, those are absolutely real considerations,” the &#8220;Young Turks&#8221; founder continued. “It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a union. Everyone should know the full context.”
Uygur&#8217;s anti-union position, it seems, only stands for his business &#8212; at least in relation to his past statements in support of unions.
&#8220;The popular progressive activist and political commentator has previously expressed strong support for unions, and has endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who has suggested punishing companies that refuse to recognize unions,&#8221; National Review highlighted.
Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro, who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-shapiro-destroys-cenk-politicon-debate-hank-berrien">debated</a> Uygur back in 2017 at Politicon,  took notice of the glaring disconnect between the progressive&#8217;s rhetoric and actions. In a snarky Twitter thread, Shapiro aptly reacted: &#8220;BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :: takes breath :: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.&#8221;

During the mostly one-sided Politicon debate back in 2017, Shapiro zeroed-in on Uygur&#8217;s shaky economic understanding, hitting the progressive for &#8220;preaching Keynesian economics.&#8221;
&#8220;The problem with Keynesian economics is that it doesn’t even work in theory, because again, once you go to the logical extreme, which is remove all of the money from the rich people who are saving all of their money, and give it to all the poor people who buy hamburgers, that doesn’t help the economy or spur the economy,&#8221; Shapiro explained, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-shapiro-destroys-cenk-politicon-debate-hank-berrien">The Daily Wire</a> noted.

Chris Matthews likened it to a &#8220;three car funeral,&#8221; Joe Scarborough called it a bad omen, and Jeffrey Toobin simply hailed it an embarrassment. No matter who one consults about Monday night&#8217;s Iowa Democratic Party caucuses, the opinions among Democrats and their allies are nearly universal: Trump won big.
Over at MSNBC, a noticeably disgusted Chris Matthews said President Trump was &#8220;chuckling all night&#8221; as the Democratic Party struggled to so much as organize a &#8220;three car funeral.&#8221;
&#8220;The guy in the White House is chuckling all night here, showing the Democrats can&#8217;t even get a three car funeral organized, or whatever you want to call it. Matthews then tried to spin this gross display of incompetence on the part of the Democrats into the fault of the Iowa caucuses themselves, even though Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez was <a href="https://twitter.com/TomPerez/status/1224475047974330369?s=20">literally boasting</a> hours before the election about the &#8220;reforms&#8221; the party had instituted to ensure a more transparent primary process.
&#8220;I think we have to ask ourselves about the viability of the Iowa caucuses as an institution to start off this decision this country has to make to find someone to challenge Trump,&#8221; continued Matthews.

Joe Scarborough of &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; blasted the party for leaving the results of Monday night&#8217;s important election in the hands of a &#8220;crappy app&#8221; they did not even know would properly work.
&#8220;What is wrong with the Iowa Democratic Party?&#8221; Scarborough began on Tuesday morning. &#8220;Again, this is a party who botched the call four years ago, rushed it when the media was shocked that they would be so transparent, and now they get on the phone for 74 seconds? The world&#8217;s watching this. We&#8217;re not being melodramatic.&#8221;
&#8220;For a year and a half, American politics has been focused on this moment, and the Democratic Party has a crappy app and say, well, nothing happened to the app,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Then you hear reports something did happen to the app. Was there election interference? Did somebody try to hack into the app? Was it just pure incompetence? Did they lose the information? Why were they only on the phone for 74 seconds when they should be holding two-hour press conferences explaining to America and the world what happened.&#8221;

Writing at CNN, legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/03/opinions/iowa-caucus-is-an-embarrassment-toobin/index.html">minced no words</a> by deeming the night an &#8220;embarrassment.&#8221; Toobin even argued that the whole concept of the Iowa caucuses should be scrapped altogether.
&#8220;Maybe the fiasco of the late reporting results from the Iowa caucus this year will have a positive legacy — the end of the caucus process and the invitation to another state to start the delegate selection process,&#8221; wrote Toobin. &#8220;The caucuses are an embarrassment to the Democratic Party and the United States. This is no way to pick a nominee.&#8221;
None other than hardcore Bernie Sanders supporter Cenk Uygur of &#8220;The Young Turks&#8221; expressed the most outrage over the Iowa results.

Last night, Daily Wire Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer, who frequently opines on issues pertaining to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/44424/hammer-stark-choice-facing-jewish-democrats-josh-hammer">Jewish politics</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/43388/hammer-anti-semites-ilhan-omar-and-rashida-tlaib-josh-hammer">anti-Semitism</a>, and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/50850/hammer-yes-palestinian-state-far-more-dangerous-josh-hammer">Israel</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pK4bc1c-UMI">joined</a> &#8220;Tipping Point With Liz Wheeler&#8221; on One America News Network to discuss the mainstream media&#8217;s overwhelming silence with respect to the fact that 2020 Democratic Party presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who is Jewish by birth, has frequently associated himself with notorious anti-Semites and people embroiled in anti-Semitic controversies.
Sanders retains Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Linda Sarsour as leading presidential campaign surrogates, and recently reiterated his <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jun/02/i-dont-think-he-needs-my-advice-bernie-sanders-applauds-jeremy-corbyn">longtime support</a> for deeply anti-Semitic outgoing British Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn. As The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sanders-appearing-with-omar-lauds-her-one-of-the-bravest-members-of-the-united-states-congress">reported</a> on Sunday, Sanders recently took the campaign stage with Omar — who has been consistently embroiled in anti-Semitic controversies ever since joining Congress in January — to effusively praise her as &#8220;a leader on so many important issues&#8221; and &#8220;one of the bravest members of the United States Congress.&#8221; And as Hammer discussed with Wheeler on a previous television segment from September, Sanders has long <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-hammer-tipping-point-liz-wheeler-bernie-daily-wire-2">already deployed</a> the anti-Semitic Sarsour as a prominent presidential campaign surrogate.
Wheeler began by lamenting the fact that the mainstream media are so silent about Sanders&#8217; numerous troubling affiliations and endorsements, including his recent endorsement and prompt subsequent un-endorsement of <a href="https://freebeacon.com/politics/sanders-endorses-candidate-ousted-from-far-left-pac-for-offensive-writings/">deeply troubled</a> California congressional candidate Cenk Uygur.
Wheeler decried the media for ignoring the &#8220;rabid anti-Semitism&#8221; of those with whom Sanders oftentimes &#8220;pals around.&#8221; Hammer tore into Sanders, as he has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hammer-bernie-sanders-entire-worldview-grotesquely-josh-hammer">done</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/josh_hammer/status/1194316667880427522">before</a>:
<blockquote>It&#8217;s just so shameful. Bernie Sanders, obviously, is Jewish by birth; if I&#8217;m not mistaken, he had a large portion his family that was wiped out by the Nazis in the Holocaust. I mean, this is a man who truly, truly, truly, ought to know better.

There was actually a poll I saw a few years ago that said that while 80% of evangelical Protestants believe that God promised the Land of Israel to the Jews, only 40% of American Jews believe that. And that is just one data point. American Jews, by and large, are secular. Their religion is progressive leftism. Bernie Sanders obviously takes it to the ultimate extreme: He is a USSR-honeymooning, hammer and sickle flag-waving, repulsive, Marxist communist. He and Jeremy Corbyn, despite the fact that they are [of] ostensibly different religions, actually have a lot more that they are similar on than they are different on.</blockquote>
Wheeler continued to expand upon the unique vileness of Corbyn, who has previously laid a wreath at a burial spot of Palestinian-Arabs who murdered Israelis at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games and referred to jihadist groups Hezbollah and Hamas as his &#8220;friends.&#8221; And Uygur, who Sanders endorsed before promptly un-endorsing, has recently been in the news for an unearthed old statement wherein he expressed support for <a href="https://www.theblaze.com/news/cenk_uygur_antisemitism_bulldoze_jerusalem">&#8220;bulldoz[ing]&#8221; the holy city of Jerusalem</a>.

As reported by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cenk-uygur-files-to-run-for-katie-hills-house-seat">The Daily Wire</a>, The Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur filed to run for the House of Representatives on Wednesday, seeking to replace Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA), who recently resigned over alleged sexual relationships with staffers.
Following Uygur&#8217;s congressional bid, old sexist blog posts from the Bernie Sanders supporter began circulating online.
In one such <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20020319052056/http://www.youngturk.com:80/rulesof.htm">post</a> from the early 2000s, which Uygur has since <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/young-turks-cenk-uygur-blog-breasts-women-flawed/">denounced</a>, the host laid out &#8220;rules&#8221; for women on the dating sense.
&#8220;There are some hard and fast rules of dating. Women, ignore these at your peril,&#8221; Uygur wrote in his early thirties.
&#8220;Rule 1: There must be some serious making out by the third date,&#8221; he posted. &#8220;If I haven&#8217;t felt your t*** by then, things are not about to last much longer.  In fact, if you don&#8217;t get back on track by the fourth date, you&#8217;re done.&#8221;
The second rule for women to follow: &#8220;There must be orgasm by the fifth date.&#8221;
&#8220;No, ands, ifs, or buts,&#8221; he emphasized. &#8220;If I haven&#8217;t unloaded by this time, things are intolerably slow. There will be no sixth date to give you a second chance. If you haven&#8217;t delivered by now, you&#8217;re done.&#8221;
&#8220;Rule 3: There must be sex by the second month of dating,&#8221; Uygur said.
&#8220;There are a lot of allowable exceptions to this rule, but they all involve orgasms,&#8221; he kindly offered. &#8220;I&#8217;ll let you slide if for unseen circumstances we haven&#8217;t gotten to see each other much, and you have been providing me with some excellent orgasms in the meanwhile.&#8221;
While there were rare exceptions for women to not sleep with Uygur by month two, the chivalry basically died out by month four:
<blockquote>But there are no foreseeable reasons why anyone would slip into the fourth month of dating without sex.  But since you do provide a certain level of sexual satisfaction, I will give a requisite talking to you to see &#8220;what&#8217;s wrong.&#8221;  If you don&#8217;t give it up the date after &#8220;the talk,&#8221; you&#8217;re done.</blockquote>
&#8220;I&#8217;m not telling girls to be sluts, but there are bounds of reason,&#8221; explained the Young Turks host. &#8220;And I have no intention of going out with someone in the long run, without a reasonable amount of sex &#8212; and these rules set the reasonable bounds. Ignore them at your peril.&#8221;
And, flexing his feminist muscles, Uygur assured women that he doesn&#8217;t hold &#8220;inane and antiquated hang-ups&#8221; about a woman who &#8220;gives it up too easy.&#8221;
&#8220;Some guys are a**holes, and won&#8217;t go out with a girl if she gives it up too easy. I have no such inane and antiquated hang-ups. I&#8217;d much rather go out with a slut than a prude,&#8221; he bragged, noting that a girl can &#8220;add&#8221; to her &#8220;shelf-life&#8221; with early and good sex.
&#8220;If you don&#8217;t give it up within a normal period of time, you will be eliminated.   If you&#8217;re excellent in bed, you can extend your stay,&#8221; he elaborated. &#8220;In the end, it&#8217;s always your personality. But I don&#8217;t want any girls to be left with the impression that they are going to trick us men into taking them more seriously or getting attached to them more because they refuse to have sex for a long time. If a guy does react that way, he is an idiot, and you&#8217;re an idiot if you go out with him. If he&#8217;s a reasonable guy like me, not having sex within the right time period can only hurt you.&#8221;

In a <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20020607165341/http://www.youngturk.com:80/newpage41.htm">blog post</a> from 2000, Uygur complained that he was only seeing &#8220;a tiny droplet&#8221; of the &#8220;sea of t***&#8221; Miami had to offer and claimed women are genetically &#8220;flawed&#8221; and &#8220;poorly designed creatures who do not want to have sex nearly as often as needed for the human race to get along peaceably and fruitfully.&#8221;
As noted by <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/young-turks-cenk-uygur-blog-breasts-women-flawed/">The Wrap</a>, Uygur denounced the sexist posts in 2017, bizarrely claiming he made the comments back when he &#8220;was still a conservative.&#8221; However, the posts express progressive views on sexuality, not conservative.
“The stuff I wrote back then was really insensitive and ignorant,” Uygur, who is now 49 years old, said. “If you read that today, what I wrote 18 years ago, and you’re offended by it, you’re 100 percent right. And anyone who is subjected to that material, I apologize to. And I deeply regret having written that stuff when I was a different guy.”
“I had not yet matured and I was still a conservative who thought that stuff was politically incorrect and edgy,&#8221; he added. &#8220;When you read it now, it looks really, honestly, ugly. And it’s very uncomfortable to read.”
The sexist blog posts were published by Uygur on a site called YoungTurk.com, which now redirects to The Young Turks, noted The Wrap.
