A coalition of 14 Republican attorneys general warned <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/apple" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Apple</a> on Wednesday that its “discriminatory” entrepreneur programs excluding white and Asian men may be illegal.
Led by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/west-virginia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">West Virginia</a> Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, the Republican officials sent a letter to Apple after it opened up applications last week for its “Entrepreneurship Camp” exclusively for minorities and women. The letter, addressed to Apple Senior Vice President Katherine Adams, says that the application stipulations may violate federal discrimination law.
“Apple should abandon this wrong-headed and exclusionary approach. As it stands, the program reflects a troubling fixation on race and sex — and looks to run afoul of anti-discrimination laws. While supporting up-and-coming developers may be a laudable goal, this harmful strategy is not the way to do it,” the attorneys general <a href="https://ago.wv.gov/Documents/Apple%20Letter.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a>.
“And given how you sell your products in our States—and recruit developers, engineers, and others from our States, too—we cannot give tacit approval to your methods. Indeed, by hosting some of these camps remotely, we think Apple is effectively exporting discrimination to our States,” they added.
Joining Morrisey were the attorneys general of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas.

Apple faced backlash from conservatives last week after it <a href="https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=49500drc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> its requirements for its “Apple Entrepreneur Camp” on August 13. According to the tech company, the camp “supports underrepresented founders and developers, and encourages the pipeline and longevity of these entrepreneurs in technology.”
The posting from the company said that all “female,* Black, Hispanic/Latinx, and Indigenous” developers were welcome to apply. The asterisks around “female” pointed to a note that said that Apple “believes that gender expression is a fundamental right. We welcome all women to apply to this program.”
The Republicans said that Apple was sowing social division through the program and pushing “intentional discrimination.”
“If Apple wants to open the doors to underrepresented persons, we can conceive of plenty of ways to do so without engaging in ugly race- and sex-based classifications. It could target those who don’t hail from elite educational institutions,” they wrote. “It could target those from lower socio-economic classes. It could target persons from parts of our country that haven’t yet experienced a boom in app development.”
In recent months, corporations around the country have faced backlash from customers for pushing woke policies and implementing DEI requirements.

Big tech employees overwhelmingly support<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/wisconsin"> Wisconsin</a> Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D.), contributing tens of thousands of dollars to her campaign while giving no money to Republican challenger Eric Hovde, according to a review of Federal Election Commission data.
Employees and high level executives at the Big Five — Apple, Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft — are stepping in to help Baldwin amid her contentious campaign for a third term in the Senate. The notoriously left-learning tech industry has come under increasing scrutiny in recent weeks as Google and Meta face accusations of censoring information about the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. 
Baldwin has received nearly $70,000 dollars from employees of the Big Five, with over half coming from employees at Google,<a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/?data_type=processed&amp;committee_id=C00326801&amp;committee_id=C00830687&amp;contributor_employer=Microsoft&amp;contributor_employer=Meta&amp;contributor_employer=Google&amp;contributor_employer=Facebook&amp;contributor_employer=Apple&amp;contributor_employer=Amazon&amp;contributor_employer=Alphabet&amp;two_year_transaction_period=2024"> according</a> to a Daily Wire review of Federal Election Commission data. Hovde, a Wisconsin businessman, appears to have received<a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/?data_type=processed&amp;committee_id=C00870139&amp;contributor_employer=Alphabet&amp;contributor_employer=Amazon&amp;contributor_employer=Apple&amp;contributor_employer=Facebook&amp;contributor_employer=Google&amp;contributor_employer=Meta&amp;contributor_employer=Microsoft&amp;two_year_transaction_period=2024"> no donations</a> to his Hovde for Wisconsin or Hovde Victory Committee from workers at those tech companies.
Employees and executives of Google and its parent company, Alphabet, have given at least $35,520 in donations to Baldwin so far this election cycle.
Kent Walker, president of global affairs at Google and Alphabet, has donated $6,600 to Baldwin this election cycle while Google CMO Lorraine Twohill gave Baldwin $3,300. Fernando Pereira, a vice president and engineering fellow at Google, gave $1,500 to Baldwin while Vinton Cerf, another Google executive, gave the Democratic senator $3,300. 
Donations from employees at the other four tech giants were similarly lopsided, though smaller in number. Amazon employees gave Baldwin $13,172, while Microsoft employees gave her $12,175. Workers at Apple donated just $4,575, while Meta employees gave $2,721. 
While Baldwin won her last election in 2018 by over 10 points, her race this November is expected to be closer, with Wisconsin projected to be one of the battleground states that determines the result of the presidential election. Hovde, who locked up the Republican nomination on Tuesday, is backed by Trump.

Zach Bannon, a spokesman for Hovde, said that the tech donations showed that Baldwin is a “bought and paid for corporate special interest career politician.”
“She sides with the big-tech donors that fund her campaign over the concerns of everyday Wisconsinites, which is why the people of Wisconsin are tired of corrupt career politicians and are ready for change,” he told The Daily Wire.

For example, in January 2021 Baldwin<a href="https://www.baldwin.senate.gov/news/press-releases/tech-leaders-combat-coronavirus-vaccine-misinformation"> joined</a> efforts to urge social media platforms like Google and Facebook to restrict posts critical of COVID vaccines. 
“While we understand that your companies have implemented policies regarding the removal of vaccine-related misinformation and dedicated resources to stop the spread of misinformation, we believe more must be done. It is imperative that you be transparent about the amount of harmful misinformation that appears on your platforms and the effectiveness of your efforts to remove this content, so that public health organizations and experts can respond appropriately,” Baldwin wrote. 
Baldwin did not return a request for an interview about her stance on “misinformation” and Big Tech.

The left bias of Google employees is no surprise, as donations were<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/google-employees-overwhelmingly-back-warnock-other-senate-democrat-candidates"> similarly lopsided</a> in key Senate races during the 2022 election. The search engine has consistently asserted that it is politically neutral and not biased against conservatives. 
However, in the weeks following the assassination attempt on Trump, users noticed that Google would not autocomplete searches related to the attack. In response, Republican lawmakers<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lawmakers-expand-probe-into-google-meta-over-alleged-censorship-of-trump-assassination-attempt-info"> have launched</a> an investigation into the platform, calling for comprehensive documentation of the company’s policies and programs. 
None of the Big Five returned requests for comment.

The studio behind Oscar-winning movies like “Green Book,” “Spotlight” and “An Inconvenient Truth” has gone the way of the fax machine and pager.
Netflix is also getting out of the auteur business. 
 
Harper’s Magazine declared it’s not a matter of if, <a href="https://harpers.org/archive/2024/05/the-life-and-death-of-hollywood-daniel-bessner/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">but when Hollywood ceases to exist</a>, at least in its current form.
Yes, Tinsel Town is in panic mode, and understandably so. And that doesn’t include the fallout from last year’s dueling strikes, the rise of AI and audiences rejecting some of the industry’s once-bulletproof franchises (“Indiana Jones,” “The Matrix,” “The Marvels”)
Let’s start with Participant, formed in 2004 by progressive eBay co-founder Jeff Skoll to create socially aware films. That mandate seemed like a recipe for failure, but the studio walked the line between message and merriment.
It earned plenty of critical love, too, but when a scare documentary on climate change grosses a gaudy $24 million stateside you’re doing something right.
Until now, apparently.

Previous Participant projects like “Truth,” “RGB,” and “When They See Us” certainly had a liberal-leaning approach, and some genuinely impacted the culture. That Skoll opted to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/16/business/media/participant-jeff-skoll.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shutter the company</a> now says something.
Progressive stories will still be made, of course, but they lost a powerful ally in Participant.
Prestige filmmakers have struggled to get their visions made in the 21st century. Even a highly regarded filmmaker like John Sayles (“Matewan,” “Eight Men Out”) <a href="https://variety.com/2024/film/global/lone-star-john-sayles-trump-wall-urination-matthew-mcconaughey-1235923660/">can no longer be guaranteed studio space</a> for future projects.
That allowed Netflix to gain a toehold in the cinematic space. The streaming giant gifted gargantuan budgets to filmmakers like Martin Scorsese (“The Irishman”) to make their movies, their way while Hollywood studios flinched.
The studio previously produced movies with the Coen brothers, Scorsese, Jane Campion, and more.
Not anymore.

Netflix announced it will focus more on populist original films and skip the auteur-driven projects of yore. Moving forward, the platform will focus on films that <a href="https://www.worldofreel.com/blog/2024/4/15/aurora">gain more eyeballs</a>, like the “Knives Out” franchise.
That means celebrated filmmakers like David Lynch and Katherine Bigelow can’t crack the Netflix code.
Apple paid handsomely to fund Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” epic. Will they follow suit? &#8220;Napoleon&#8221; earned just $217 million worldwide compared to its reported $200 million budget. (Studios split revenue with movie theaters and must fork over additional costs for marketing, etc.)
The aforementioned Harper’s Magazine piece is littered with doom and gloom, along with the receipts to back it up:
<blockquote>The industry as a whole is now facing a broad contraction. Between August 2022 and the end of last year, employment fell by 26 percent—more than one job gone in every four. Layoffs hit Warner Bros. Discovery, Netflix, Paramount Global, Roku, and others in 2022. In 2023, firings swept through the representation giants United Talent Agency and Creative Artists Agency; Netflix, Paramount Global, and Roku again; plus Hulu, NBCUniversal, and Lionsgate. In early 2024, it was announced that Amazon was cutting hundreds of jobs from its Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios divisions. In February, Paramount Global laid off roughly eight hundred people. It’s unclear which streamers will survive. </blockquote>
Hollywood is still deathly afraid of how AI technology will impact its workforce. We’ve already seen stars lose out on voiceover work thanks to AI.
That could be the tip of a digital iceberg the likes of which Hollywood has never seen before.
Panic. And it’s understandable.
That explains reviving stone-cold dead franchises like “<a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/blair-witch-project-original-team-reacts-reboot-movie-1235874500/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Blair Witch Project</a>” and the <a href="https://people.com/new-scary-movie-sequel-in-the-works-cinemacon-2024-8630189" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“Scary Movie” series</a>. We’ll also see another live-action “<a href="https://screenrant.com/popeye-the-sailor-man-movie-live-action-development/#:~:text=A%20new%20live%2Daction%20Popeye,Robin%20Williams%20version%20in%201980." target="_blank" rel="noopener">Popeye</a>” film as well as a movie based on the board game “Monopoly.”
Can Hollywood be saved? Perhaps, but it won’t be by any of the above film projects.
It begins with innovation, acknowledging audience expectations, and producing less ideological content.
The assembled stars should be less dismissive of their dwindling fan bases, too. Liberal actor Nick Offerman of “Parks and Recreation” fame set that tone by telling the press his new movie “Civil War” would <a href="https://www.hollywoodintoto.com/civil-war-president-not-donald-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lose audiences members if it chose a political side</a>.
That’s smart. What’s less than smart?
Actor Alan Ritchson teeing off on <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2024/04/15/reacher-star-alan-ritchson-faces-backlash-after-trump-comments/?sh=49e04e1c50c3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">President Donald Trump</a>, the <a href="https://bleedingcool.com/tv/reacher-alan-ritchson-calls-out-police-union-pushes-back-on-insults/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">police</a>, and Christians while “promoting” his latest project, “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.”
It might take real risk-taking, which is anathema to an industry known for playing it safe. Consider what Kevin Costner has in store for us later this year as the ultimate risk.

His “Horizon” film saga is an old-fashioned western, at least on paper, that could span as many as four feature films. The first two installments will be released on June 28 and August 16, respectively.
The film legend broke the old Hollywood saw about <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/entertainment/yellowstone-star-kevin-costner-gambles-next-monster-hit-with-his-own-money" target="_blank" rel="noopener">using your own money</a> to invest in the series.
Will it pay off?
Costner <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/entertainment/kevin-costners-12-hour-horizon-binge-plan-pt-barnum-like-showmanship-big-winner-expert" target="_blank" rel="noopener">summed up</a> the all-American saga during his appearance at this month’s CinemaCon gathering:
<blockquote>When I think about the promise of America, there was a promise out here, if you could go. If you were tough enough, if you were mean enough, if you were resourceful enough, if you were lucky enough, you could take what you wanted in America.</blockquote>
 The same could be true of Hollywood moving forward. Or else.

Tech giant <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/apple" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Apple</a> has reportedly ended its decade-long pursuit to enter the electric vehicle market after spending billions of dollars on the effort known as Project Titan.
The Wall Street Journal <a href="https://www.wsj.com/business/autos/apple-car-project-canceled-ced2b626" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that part of the reason Apple pulled the plug was that the company was lighting cash on fire trying to catch up to Elon Musk&#8217;s Tesla Motors.
“It makes no sense whatsoever for Apple to sell a car,” technology analyst Richard Windsor said last year. “Apple makes 40-50pc gross margins on the products it sells, and it will not make that on seats and steering wheels.”
Apple wanted to develop new battery technology that would dramatically cut the cost of electric vehicles and wanted to develop software that would make their cars fully self driving.
Some of the 2,000 employees Apple had working on the project will be transferred to other areas in the company while the rest will be laid off, the report said.
“Apple canceling this project is a sigh of relief for us,” said Dan Morgan, a senior portfolio manager at Apple shareholder Synovus Trust. “When you looked at Apple’s future initiatives, the car project was always the most far-fetched for Apple. This just isn’t in their wheelhouse.”
The news comes after Apple said last month that it was pushing back its timetable for debuting its electric car from 2026 to 2028, which comes as the electric vehicle market has fallen off significantly in recent years due to a wide range of consumer concerns.

Mercedes-Benz announced last week that it was scrapping its plans to only sell <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/electric-cars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">electric vehicles</a> after 2030 due to low consumer demand. The Verge <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2024/2/22/24080220/mercedes-benz-ev-only-sales-2030-back-off" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that the report showed a stunning turnaround for the German automaker from its pledge three years ago to completely phase out selling gas-powered vehicles by 2030 and to only sell EVs.
“Customers and market conditions will set the pace of the transformation,” Mercedes <a href="https://group.mercedes-benz.com/investors/share/outlook/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in its fourth quarter earnings statement. “The company plans to be in a position to cater to different customer needs, whether it’s an all-electric drivetrain or an electrified combustion engine, until well into the 2030s.”
The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/17/climate/biden-epa-auto-emissions.html?smtyp=cur&amp;smid=tw-nytimes" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> earlier this month that the Biden administration was preparing to ease its push to force EVs onto American consumers as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hertz-dumping-tens-of-thousands-of-electric-vehicles-replacing-them-with-gas-vehicles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">consumer demand for the vehicles remains low</a>, dealerships have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/3700-u-s-auto-dealers-push-biden-to-scrap-unrealistic-ev-mandate-low-demand-even-with-incentives" target="_blank" rel="noopener">expressed serious concerns</a>, and automakers have had to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ford-cuts-production-of-electric-truck-they-touted-as-the-future-hiring-hundreds-to-build-more-gas-vehicles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cut production and revamp production of gas vehicles</a>.
The report said the move was a “concession to automakers and labor unions” from the administration, as it was forcing “limits on tailpipe emissions” to force Americans to switch from gas-powered cars to more expensive electric vehicles — which often have performance issues in adverse weather conditions. The serious lack of charging stations, and the time it takes to recharge electric vehicles, are among other top complaints from consumers.

Over the past year, numerous companies have placed themselves in the middle of a culture war and taken the side of radical gender theory and leftism, dumping millions of dollars into radical LGBTQ groups such as the Trevor Project and the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). These corporations’ endorsement of life-altering gender procedures and promotion of biological men in women’s spaces have sparked outrage and calls for boycotts from many conservatives this year, but now, the pro-Left companies are looking to gain favor back with shoppers during the Black Friday shopping weekend. 
Popular brands and companies like Target, Native, Harry’s, Hershey’s, Nike, and Apple have all pushed transgender ideology onto customers over the past year. And this week, these companies will beckon shoppers to their doors and websites in hopes of cashing out for the holiday season. But along with all the deals offered by these companies, this Black Friday comes a bevy of woke ideas being crammed down consumers’ throats. 
Here are the popular Black Friday companies that will likely offer deals this holiday weekend as they continue to push radical gender theories and even target children with some of their Pride-themed merchandise:
Target
The Minneapolis-based retail giant went all in on Pride Month earlier this year, even featuring LGBTQ-themed products aimed at children in the front of its stores. Among Target’s Pride-themed products featured on store shelves over the summer were a children’s swimsuit with a tag reading “thoughtfully fit on multiple body types and gender expressions” and LGBTQ-themed books such as “The Pronoun Book” and “Bye Bye Binary.” The retail giant also featured an adult “Pride” collection, which included “tuck-friendly” swimsuits for men who identify as women to tuck their genitals, a t-shirt with the words “Queer Queer Queer Queer,” and a hoodie reading “Not A Phase.”
The corporation also <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/05/26/target-gave-2-1m-to-group-that-urges-schools-to-hide-kids-gender-from-parents/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">donated</a> over $2 million to GLSEN, a radical LBGTQ organization that encourages children to hide their gender changes from parents. “We&#8217;re proud to partner with GLSEN for more than a decade, working to ensure students have a safe place to learn. Target annually supports GLSEN and its mission to create affirming, accessible and antiracist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students,” Target <a href="https://corporate.target.com/sustainability-governance/our-team/diversity-equity-inclusion/team-members-guests/lgbtqia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">states</a> on its website. 
Target came under fire again this week for selling Pride-themed nutcrackers and disabled Santa ornaments. The account End Wokeness shared images of an ornament of a black Santa Claus in a wheelchair displayed on a Target shelf. The account also highlighted a Pride nutcracker figurine wearing a Pride-striped hat and holding a Progress Pride flag. The product description encourages buyers to “show your love and support for the LGBTQIA+ community” by displaying this decoration. Both items are available for sale on Target’s website.

Target has already pushed a huge marketing campaign to get the word out about its Black Friday deals, landing articles in major national news outlets and shopping sites. The company is hoping to offset two straight negative earnings reports after it faced blowback for its Pride-themed merchandise. 
Harry’s
After pulling its advertising with The Daily Wire over comments from host Michael Knowles on transgenderism it deemed “inexcusable,” razor company Harry’s has only dug itself deeper into the pit of radical gender theory. In June of 2022, for Pride Month, Harry’s partnered with a woman who identified as a man to sell a razor set to men. The razor company <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/CfWzJnspHuW/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=d3a5cbee-ee9f-497f-ab25-355a7225eb64">said</a> 100% of its profits for the razor set would go to the Trevor Project, a radical LGBTQ organization that encourages minors to undergo life-altering gender procedures. 
“Celebrating my first Pride with facial hair!” Luke Wesley Pearson said at the time. “@harrys and their sibling brand @meetflamingo worked with @ohnilisle, an artist from the LGBTQ+ community, to design this year&#8217;s Face &amp; Body Shave Set: It includes one razor handle, a Harry&#8217;s razor for your face, and a Flamingo razor for your body. And the best part? 100% of profits from the set are donated to @trevorproject. Feeling handsome and proud to be me every day of the year.”

The chocolate company faced calls for a boycott earlier this year after <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/boycott-hersheys-trends-on-twitter-as-brand-features-man-who-identifies-as-trans-in-international-womens-day-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">promoting</a> a biological man as part of its International Women’s Day celebration. Fae Johnstone was one of five people featured in the campaign, which used the Hershey’s SHE bar to “shine a light on the women and girls who inspire us every day.”
“We can create a world where everyone is able to live in the public space as their honest and authentic selves. See the women changing how we see the future,” Johnstone said in a promotional video.

The backlash to the pro-trans marketing campaign led to The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nuts-or-nutless-the-daily-wire-launches-jeremys-chocolates-after-hersheys-trans-farce-insults-customers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launching</a> its own chocolate company, Jeremy’s Chocolate, which <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jeremys-chocolate-sells-half-a-million-chocolate-bars-within-days-of-launch">sold</a> over half a million chocolate bars within days of going live. 
Native
Like Harry’s and Hershey’s, Native has partnered with a trans-identifying person multiple times to promote its product earlier this year. Last year, biological male and trans-identifying social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney partnered with the company and the Trevor Project to “share [his] story.” Mulvaney <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@dylanmulvaney/video/7109630752328830251?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> he partnered with Native mainly because it was partnering with the Trevor Project and donating $50,000 to the radical LGBTQ organization. Earlier this year, Mulvaney made another <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@native/video/7198272152368336171" target="_blank" rel="noopener">video</a> for Native deodorant to boost the company’s gummy-bear scented deodorant. Months later, Mulvaney would set another company ablaze in controversy after he partnered with Bud Light and received a specialized beer can with his face on it. 
Nike
Less than a week after Mulvaney’s Bud Light partnership blew up on social media, the trans-identifying influencer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stop-giving-them-your-money-nike-partners-with-dylan-mulvaney-ignites-fury-online" target="_blank" rel="noopener">appeared</a> in a paid social media video dancing in Nike women’s gear. In the sponsored Nike ad, Mulvaney showed off women’s leggings and a sports bra. Mulvaney captioned his Nike gear post, “Home for a moment and leaning into cozy workout wear life with [Nike Women]’s newest Zenvy leggings and Alate bra! They’re so comfortable and buttery soft, perfect for workouts and everyday wear! #feelyourall #teamnike #nikepartner.”
After backlash to promoting Mulvaney as a voice for women, Nike <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nike-scolds-critics-upset-about-partnership-with-trans-activist-dylan-mulvaney" target="_blank" rel="noopener">scolded</a> critics who voiced their outrage over the partnership. 
“You are an essential component to the success of your community!” Nike said in a pinned comment on its official Instagram page. “We welcome comments that contribute to a positive and constructive discussion: Be kind ❤️ Be inclusive ❤️Encourage each other ❤️.”
“Hate speech, bullying, or other behaviors that are not in the spirit of a diverse and inclusive community will be deleted,” the comment added.
Nike’s radical LGBTQ campaign didn’t stop with its promotion of Mulvaney. In June, Nike <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nike-marks-pride-month-with-doc-who-does-kids-gender-surgeries-leaked-email-shows" target="_blank" rel="noopener">celebrated</a> Pride Month by hosting a panel discussion with a surgeon who said he performed “gender affirming mastectomies” on minors, according to a leaked email obtained by The Daily Wire.
Apple
Similar to Hershey’s, Apple had its own <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2023/03/08/here-are-5-brands-celebrating-men-in-costumes-this-womens-history-month/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">celebration</a> of International Women’s Day that featured a biological man. When Apple users visited the app store on International Women’s Day earlier this year, they were met with a banner showing plus-size “fat positivity” activist Naomi Hearts. Users who clicked on the banner were redirected to an article celebrating Heart and encouraging life-altering gender procedures. 
The list of major companies that seek to take advantage of Black Friday shoppers’ open wallets after a year of pushing leftism could go on. While many of the largest companies will likely rake in billions more from American consumers this holiday season even as they continue to push radical theories that the majority of Americans don’t agree with, Black Friday shoppers have another option this year as they search for gifts and holiday treats.

Sources told <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/19/business/media/jon-stewart-the-problem-ends.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Times</a> that Stewart and Apple decided to part ways after the TV host became frustrated with being &#8220;hamstrung&#8221; over guests and possible topics that would be discussed on the show, specifically regarding China and artificial intelligence. Another source suggested that the upcoming 2024 presidential campaign could lead to more creative differences.
Stewart reportedly told members of his staff on Thursday that the show was over after production on the eight-episode third season had already gotten underway with filming soon to take place, sources told the outlet.

Sources spoke to the <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jon-stewart-the-problem-canceled-apple-creative-differences-1235623235/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood Reporter</a> and said concerns over certain topics had led executives to speak to Stewart about needing to be &#8220;aligned&#8221; on the show. Sources close to Stewart told THR that he wanted to have full creative control of the series and after the tech giant &#8220;threatened to cancel the series&#8221; over the disputes, he said he&#8217;d rather walk away from the show than do it with his hands tied.
In 2020, the comedian signed on with Apple for a multi-year pact that included his talk show &#8220;The Problem&#8221; along with other development projects via his Busboy Productions banner, THR noted.

The app for <a href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bentkey-kids-entertainment/id6468091444">Bentkey</a>, the Daily Wire’s new entertainment company, became the number one downloaded kids app on the Apple App store on Monday, the same day that Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing revealed the launch of the new venture.
The app, which is available now with over 150 episodes of 18 shows — including four Bentkey originals, was the most downloaded free app for kids from Apple’s store, beating out other apps like YouTubeKids and Paw Patrol Academy.
Streaming now on the Bentkey app are original shows like “A Wonderful Day with Mabel Maclay,” “Chip Chilla,” and “Kid Fit Go!” as well as a library of other curated licensed content. New episodes will arrive every Saturday morning, and new series will be added to the platform on an ongoing basis.
The announcement comes at a tumultuous time for Disney, with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-disneys-favorability-plummets-with-conservatives-after-snow-white-controversy">plummeting favorability ratings</a> as the company becomes more and more openly political. <a href="https://twitter.com/realchrisrufo/status/1508912865293619202">Leaked footage</a> in early 2022 revealed company executives advocating for more “queerness” and radical racial messages in kids content, and viral videos this year show Disney’s live action “Snow White” star Rachel Zegler condemning the iconic Disney story that launched the company into what it is today.
“While Disney still uses Walt’s name, they have all but abandoned his legacy,” said Boreing in a pre-recorded address from Lake Bled in Slovenia. Boreing is on a leave of absence from his role as co-CEO at The Daily Wire while he is <a href="https://deadline.com/2023/07/daily-wire-jeremy-boreing-tv-series-pendragon-cycle-filming-september-1235450484/">directing</a> DailyWire+’s “Pendragon” series in Hungary and Italy. “Walt Disney loved America. The company he founded seems to think America is systemically racist, and beyond just their content Disney as a corporation pushes all the worst excesses of the woke Left … It would be impossible to overstate just how big a loss this is for Americans who believe in basic reality. Boreing also announced on Monday that the first live-action film to be brought to Bentkey would be &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cl9LZiB0oao" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Snow White and the Evil Queen</a>&#8221; featuring Daily Wire YouTube star Brett Cooper.

The pagan mentality that’s taking over corporate America is truly astonishing.  
Apple just released an ad in which they effectively call for worship of Mother Nature. This is just pure pagan-Gaia-worship nonsense. In the commercial, Apple CEO Tim Cook and what we are to assume is the rest of the Apple board are meeting with Mother Nature, who is a black woman. This Mother Nature shows up to express her unease at the lack of progress corporate America has made in protecting her: the environment. 
A board member asks, “Mother Nature. Mother Nature. Welcome to Apple. How was the weather getting in?” 
“The weather was however I wanted it to be,” Mother Nature replies. “Let’s cut to the chase: In 2020, you promised to bring Apple’s entire carbon footprint to zero by 2030. Henry David Thoreau over here (the camera pans to Cook) said we have a profound opportunity to build a more sustainable future for the planet we share.” 
“I think our 10:00 said the same thing,” someone apparently working as an assistant for Mother Nature interjects.
“They all do,” Mother Nature says loftily. “All right. This is my third corporate responsibility gig today, so who wants to disappoint me first?”
“Well, we’ve got some updates we are excited to share with you,” a board member says hesitantly.
“Materials status,” Mother Nature cuts her off. 
“Is there a materials person here?” the assistant asks.
A woman nervously steps forward: “Yes. We are in the process of eliminating all plastic from our packaging by the end—”
“Let me guess,” Mother Nature interrupts. “Fifty years from now, when someone else is left holding the bag?”
“By the end of next year, actually,” the nervous woman answers.

How stupid is this? There are a few things that are incredibly stupid about this. This entire commercial was apparently unveiled at the Apple product launch to demonstrate just how environmentally friendly they are.
First of all, it begins with Mother Nature arriving and they say, how’s the weather? And it gets really dark. Mother Nature says, “Whatever I want it to be.”
So here’s the question: If the environment is whatever she wants it to be, what are we worried about her for? If Mother Nature is all that powerful, then why is it we are not seeking to protect ourselves from her and not the other way around? This, by the way, was the story of virtually all of human history until the last five minutes: Mother Nature trying to kill people and people trying to figure out a way not to die. It’s very much the story of all of human survival and civilization. It’s still the story of all of human survival and civilization. Immediate contradiction. 
Then it turns into: How can we worship at the altar of Mother Nature? What if we recycle all of our plastic? Don’t even use plastic. What if we recycle all the aluminum in our phones? 
This is what we’re proving to you? What good people we are? What amazing, amazing people we are? Don’t worry about values. Don’t worry about whether what you’re doing is good or evil in terms of the product you produce, what kind of protections it has for children, or how content actually reaches people via the phones and computers you put up. Don’t worry about any of that. What you really ought to worry about is Mother Nature. 
This is paganism. Worshiping nature is a form of paganism because the reality is, nature doesn’t care about you. If you are making pagan sacrifices to the gods and you’re offering up not grain and meat but recycled aluminum, I’m not sure what the difference is.
My favorite part about all of this is this supposed Apple board meeting with Mother Nature. It’s super diverse. There’s a black lady, an Asian woman, an Indian woman. Except the actual Apple board is the whitest group of people in human history — a very white group of people. There is possibly one person on this entire list who is not white. They wouldn’t want to put that in the commercial because that would just be a bunch of white people meeting with a black lady and that wouldn’t look nearly as good or quite as diverse. 
It’s good when the mask comes off, when corporate America says people like Tim Cook have a chief goal and that is this: to worship Mother Nature and use their giant company to do so.

Apple Worships Mother Nature. Welcome To Pagan America.

Apple is set to host specialized entrepreneur training camps that bars applicants based on their race and sex. To participate, organizations must have &#8220;black, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous&#8221; members in both leadership and on staff.
The <a href="https://developer.apple.com/entrepreneur-camp/how-to-apply/">program</a> will include two cohorts in October and November, the “underrepresented founders” and “female founders” groups. The camps, which offer valuable resources such as “one-on-one code-level guidance from Apple engineers,” list eligibility requirements that exclude would-be participants on the basis of their race and sex.
In order to participate in the underrepresented founders program, an organization must have “a black, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous founder, cofounder, or CEO,” the eligibility requirements read. Organizations must also have a “black, Hispanic/Latinx, Indigenous, or female developer.”

Meanwhile, Apple’s “female founders program” stipulates that in order to be eligible, applicants must have “a female founder, cofounder, or CEO” as well as “a female developer.”

The program description denotes the word “female” with an asterisk and includes a note at the bottom of the page that reads “Apple believes that gender expression is a fundamental right. We welcome all women to apply to this program.”
David Bernstein, a professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia School of Law, told The Daily Wire that a plaintiff looking to sue Apple would have to reference California state law or the 1866 Civil Rights Act, which he stated is “generally held to be a bar to discriminating in any kind of contract based on race.”
“Apple might have some special legal obligations to the extent it’s a federal and state contractor,” Bernstein said.
The programs <a href="https://archive.ph/9Nq5w#selection-647.0-647.51">promise</a> “unprecedented access to Apple engineers and leaders” and also awards participants with access to the “extended network of Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni” and a year of free access to “beta software, advanced app capabilities, extensive beta testing tools, and app analytics.”
Apple is far from the only major company to impose race and sex-specific requirements on training programs and internships.
The Daily Wire recently revealed multiple racially discriminatory programs hosted by well-known companies, including a “diversity internship” at NASCAR that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/blatantly-illegal-nascar-bans-white-applicants-from-diversity-internship">banned</a> white applicants on the basis of their race and was called “blatantly illegal” by one lawyer.
NASCAR <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nascar-takes-down-blatantly-illegal-racial-requirement-for-internship-after-daily-wire-report">removed</a> the racial eligibility requirement following the report from The Daily Wire, but has not yet removed two other programs that similarly discriminate.
There are also multiple <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/oracle-internship-scholarship-opportunities-bar-whites-and-asians-on-the-basis-of-race">internships at Oracle</a> that discriminate against both white and Asian applicants on the basis of their race, as well as a “<a href="https://www.breitbart.com/social-justice/2023/04/20/investment-management-firm-voya-excludes-whites-from-internship-scholarship/">diversity scholarship program</a>” at Voya Investment Management that was similarly not open to white applicants.
Meanwhile, major corporations like US Bank, Bayer, Best Buy, and Liberty Mutual participated in McKinsey and Company’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/major-bank-pharmaceutical-giant-participated-in-mckinsey-training-that-banned-white-people">Connected Leaders Academy</a>, which exclusively offered training to black, Hispanic, and Asian employees, but not to white employees.
Apple did not respond to a request for comment.

Apple ‘Entrepreneur Camp’ Program Bars Applicants Based On Race

Big tech streaming platform <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/apple" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Apple</a> removed Blaze Media founder Glenn Beck&#8217;s nationally syndicated American culture and politics program from its iTunes platform on Wednesday for an unknown issue.
Beck, who is one of the first conservatives to venture out and create alternative media from the mainstream, announced in a <a href="https://twitter.com/glennbeck/status/1691872607820251600" target="_blank" rel="noopener">video</a> posted on X that he received an email from the Apple Podcasts Team that &#8220;The Glenn Beck Program&#8221; had been removed after they had &#8220;found an issue with [his show] &#8230; which must be resolved before it&#8217;s available on Apple Podcasts.&#8221;
&#8220;I have a feeling these &#8216;issues&#8217; with @Apple and others will keep happening the more we&#8217;re over the target,&#8221; Beck <a href="https://twitter.com/glennbeck/status/1691873812571177405" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> on his X account.
The email reportedly directed Beck to follow a link for additional details, but only repeated that Apple Podcasts removed his program.
&#8220;Well, we got that one, dummy,&#8221; Beck said. &#8220;I mean — I cannot imagine what they are — what they&#8217;re basing this one on. I mean, have we even had strikes? Nothing, right? This is crazy. Crazy.&#8221;
Beck had been preparing for another episode of his program on Wednesday when his team found out they potentially became another example of big tech companies censoring conservative programs and personalities.
&#8220;This is absolutely freedom of speech,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There&#8217;s nothing that we have said that would warrant any removal.&#8221;
According to his media company, the podcast host&#8217;s next episode is titled &#8220;Trump vs. Biden: Which is the Crime Family?&#8221; The summary describes Beck&#8217;s deep dive reviewing former President Donald Trump’s fourth indictment and the implications it could have on freedom of speech while comparing it to alleged evidence revealed regarding Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden.

&#8220;Maybe that&#8217;s what it is &#8230; maybe they&#8217;re just smoked because, you know, I&#8217;m pointing out the real crime family tonight,&#8221; he said.
Although Apple has not issued a formal response, Beck appeared to give the company the benefit of the doubt by calling it a potential &#8220;glitch.&#8221;
&#8220;But it&#8217;s amazing how we have to have a whole bunch of people point out the glitch before the glitch is found, and it&#8217;s put back,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Man, this is — this is huge.&#8221;
&#8220;I think the closer and closer we get to this election, the more and more glitches are going to happen,&#8221; he added.

Six hours after Beck&#8217;s show was removed from the platform, the podcast host said Apple restored over 3000 episodes to iTunes but did not provide &#8220;clear answers&#8221; for the unknown issue.

Grand larceny auto has drastically increased in New York City as the annual number of vehicle thefts in the broader United States <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/car-thefts-in-america-reach-highest-level-in-over-a-decade-analysis-finds" target="_blank" rel="noopener">surpassed</a> one million for the first time in nearly two decades. New York City Democratic Mayor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/eric-adams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eric Adams</a> said at a Sunday <a href="https://www.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/news/300-23/transcript-mayor-adams-makes-public-safety-announcement" target="_blank" rel="noopener">press conference</a> that residents should use AirTags, which are small, disk-shaped devices that attach to keys, bikes, and other items, to help police officers track stolen vehicles.
“This simple device, this simple AirTag, hidden in a car at a location that a person is not aware of is an excellent tracking device. It&#8217;s easy to monitor,” Adams said. “As soon as we are notified about a grand larceny auto, and even if it&#8217;s days later, we can still track the car and find the person who&#8217;s driving and put a break on what we are experiencing in the city with grand larceny autos.”
AirTags presently <a href="https://www.apple.com/airtag/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sell</a> for $29 and require battery replacement once per year. NYPD Chief Jeffrey Maddrey <a href="https://twitter.com/NYPDChiefOfDept/status/1652759702697017345?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> on social media that officers would use drones and conventional police work to recover stolen cars with the aid of the AirTag.
Adams revealed that the Association for a Better New York would donate 500 AirTags for residents and added that the city would work with corporate partners to increase access to the technology.
“Your greatest investment is your automobile,” he continued. “It&#8217;s used for many different reasons: to get to and from your place of employment, to drop your children off every day, to deal with any medical procedures you may have.”
New York state witnessed a 23% increase in vehicle thefts between 2021 and 2022, according to a <a href="https://www.nicb.org/news/news-releases/vehicle-thefts-nationwide-surpass-one-million-first-time-2008" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Thefts have particularly risen for certain Kia and Hyundai vehicles, which lack electronic immobilizers that prevent criminals from bypassing the ignition in cars manufactured by other companies. Viral social media videos have instructed young thieves on how to steal the vehicles, according to a <a href="https://www.iihs.org/news/detail/hyundais-kias-are-easy-targets-amid-boom-in-vehicle-thefts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
New York City officials have <a href="https://www.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/news/242-23/mayor-adams-city-corporation-counsel-hinds-radix-city-intends-file-suit-against-kia-#:~:text=Due%20to%20the%20absence%20of,thefts%20in%20the%20preceding%20months." target="_blank" rel="noopener">asserted</a> that the increases in Kia and Hyundai thefts are attributable to the companies turning a “blind eye” to the vulnerability.
