Woman Files Lawsuit Against Museum Of Sex After Boob Bounce House Incident

New York City’s Museum of Sex is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims she injured her face while jumping in their inflatable boob bounce house. (Yes, that’s a real thing.)

In July of 2014, 35-year-old Melanie Abramov, who works as an executive for fashion company Ralph Lauren, claims she was celebrating her birthday at the museum’s “Funland: Pleasures & Perils of the Erotic Playground,” when she suffered injuries on the “Jump for Joy” boob bounce house attraction. The woman says she needed surgical repair for her nose and dental implants for her busted teeth.

“It was her birthday. She was there with about 10 friends,” a source explained to The New York Post. “Two or three were with her in the bouncy house, they were taking pictures.”

“She was bouncing between the two boobs and then she didn’t bounce up,” the source continued.

In the midst of the fun, Abramov was found on the floor of the attraction, teeth cracked, nose broken, and lip bleeding.

Abramov is currently “seeking unspecified damages for her medical treatment and the emotional trauma she faced, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit she filed last week,” notes The Daily Mail. “The lawsuit, which names the museum, London-based conceptual artist duo Bompas & Parr, and others, claims the museum was negligent by allegedly not protecting patrons from the ‘hard structure’ beneath the bounce house.”

The inflatable boob-filled “Jump for Joy” attraction has reportedly been closed on two occasions since Abramov’s incident.
