The transition from “old school feminist” to “new age feminism” is quite remarkable. The days of bra-burning and women wanting to have an equal voice in government are gone. Now, the focus has shifted and the Left’s goal is not to offend anyone who identifies as a woman.
In this quest to “include” transgender people, particularly those who transitioned from men to women, the Left effectively disposes of women. The challenges women face, like having periods and giving birth, are no longer reserved to just women. We’re forced out of the picture — and the discussion — when we’re told that we’re not the only ones who can menstruate or have children (even though that is the case).
