White House Revokes Former CIA Director John Brennan’s Security Clearance, Several Others Under Review

   DailyWire.com

During Wednesday’s White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced that the White House would be revoking former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance.

Sanders read a statement that cited Brennan’s “erratic conduct and behavior” and accused him of “leveraging” his clearance to make false allegations and engage in “wild outbursts” against the Trump administration.

The statement also revealed that several other individuals’ security clearances are under review, including Peter Strzok, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.

Brennan was appointed to his former position by President Barack Obama in January 2013, and replaced by Mike Pompeo in January 2017.

The announcement comes after weeks of Brennan attacking the President on Twitter, including on Tuesday when he described Trump as “so dangerous for our Nation.”

In June, Brennan described Trump’s press conference with President Vladimir Putin of Russia as “nothing short of treasonous.”
