<p>On Friday morning, Twitter users were quick to point out that President Joe Biden sounded &#8220;worse than ever&#8221; — both in terms of his speaking ability and the content of speech — Friday morning following November&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-november-jobs-report-falls-significantly-short-of-expectations-in-a-huge-miss-for-u-s-economy">dismal jobs report.</a></p>
<p>But, the president informed Americans not to worry about his health because he simply became ill from kissing his grandson.</p>
<p>Biden&#8217;s lower-octave-than-normal voice was flagged by Townhall, which simply stated, &#8220;What&#8217;s going on with Biden&#8217;s voice?&#8221;</p>

<p>Simply put, at several points, the commander-in-chief sounded like he was going to hack up a lung:</p>

<p>Biden clarified that to Fox News&#8217; Peter Doocy at the end of his speech that he actually caught a cold from his grandkid.</p>
<p>&#8220;I am okay. I have a test&#8230;a Covid test every day&#8230;.What I have is a 1 1/2-year-old grandson who has a cold who likes to kiss his pop. He&#8217;d be kissing my, anyway&#8230;But it’s just a cold.&#8221;</p>

<p>While that answer might explain why his voice sounded off, it did not exactly clarify some of his comments about the economy made during the speech.</p>
<p>At one point, the president stated that &#8220;we&#8217;ve seen&#8221;oil and gas prices on the wholesale market come down significantly. As The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-blasted-for-bragging-biden-made-gas-2-cents-cheaper-worst-defense-of-the-biden-admin-yet">reported</a> Thursday, Democrats celebrated gas prices dropping by a mere two cents per gallon over the past two weeks, but overall, gas prices are nowhere close to what they were when President Biden took office.</p>
<p>In a question again from Fox News&#8217; Peter Doocy, Biden hinted that his covid measures were going to be in place longer and that defeating the virus would &#8220;take time.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Are you no longer going to shut [the virus] down?&#8221; Doocy asked.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve gotta beat it back before we shut it down,&#8221; the president stated. &#8220;This is gonna take time&#8230;We have to shut it down worldwide.&#8221;</p>

<p>As pointed out by The Daily Wire&#8217;s Michael Knowles, the U.S. coronavirus strategy has changed  from &#8220;flatten the curve,&#8221; to &#8220;slow the spread,&#8221;  then &#8220;find a cure,&#8221; and &#8220;shut it down,&#8221; to now saying we need &#8220;beat it back.&#8221;</p>

<p>This change in the federal government&#8217;s attitude toward the virus is unlikely to quell any economic fears about government protocol for the virus.</p>
<p>This morning, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-november-jobs-report-falls-significantly-short-of-expectations-in-a-huge-miss-for-u-s-economy">reported</a> that November jobs numbers were drastically underwhelming and they were reported even before the Omicron variant &#8220;triggered a panic&#8221; in the Biden administration and mainstream media:</p>
