In case you didn’t see it because the internet imploded shortly after it was posted: On Christmas Eve, President Trump briefly manned the phones for NORAD’s Santa Tracker alongside First Lady Melania and took a call from a 7-year-old girl. Like just about every statement he’s ever uttered, Trump’s opening line to the kid sparked hilarity, outrage, mockery, and, of course, hysterical accusations of Trump putting kids in “cages.”
“Are you still a believer in Santa?” Trump asks the 7-year-old caller, Collman Lloyd. “Because at seven it’s marginal, right?”
