President Donald Trump appeared at a rally in Southaven, Mississippi on Tuesday night and took on the vague and uncorroborated allegations launched against his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by California professor Christine Blasey Ford.
Ford claims Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her some 30-plus years ago in suburban Maryland. She is unsure when and where the alleged assault happened and has changed key details of her story, such as her age at the time, year of the alleged incident, and number of people at the “gathering.” The three party attendees named by the accuser, one of whom is a close friend of Ford’s, have all denied having any knowledge of the party or incident she detailed. Ford’s friend said she has never met Kavanaugh.
