Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who has an extensive history of anti-Semitism, refused to condemn the beheadings of Israeli babies on Tuesday when confronted by a reporter on Capitol Hill.
Tlaib’s silence comes as Israeli officials confirmed Wednesday morning local time that more than 1,200 Israelis were murdered by Palestinian terrorists during the unprecedented attacks over the weekend. Fourteen Americans were also murdered.
Tlaib, who is Palestinian-American, blamed Israel for the terrorist attacks in a statement put out by her office, saying, “The path to the future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance.”
When Tlaib was confronted by a television crew on Tuesday evening, she ran and refused to answer any questions.
“Congresswoman, Hamas terrorists have cut off babies’ heads and burned children alive; do you support Israel’s right to defend themselves against this brutality?” the reporter asked.
Tlaib would not answer.
“You can’t comment about Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads?” the reporter asked.
Tlaib would not answer.

“Congresswoman, do you have comment on Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads?” the reporter asked.
Tlaib would not answer.
“You have nothing to say about Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads?” the reporter again pressed.
Again, Tlaib was silent.
“Do you condone what Hamas has done chopping off babies’ heads, burning children alive, raping women in the street?” the reporter asked.
This time, Tlaib turned around and looked directly at the reporter, but she still refused to answer.
“You have no comment about children’s heads being chopped off?” the reporter asked.
Tlaib went and stood in front of the elevator and continued to ignore the questions.
“Congresswoman, why do you have a Palestinian flag outside your office if you do not condone what Hamas terrorists have done to Israel?”
Tlaib bolted in the elevator the moment it opened and did not say a word.
