A campaign sign for Senator Bernie Sanders, an Independent from Vermont and 2020 presidential candidate, lays on the ground in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, U.S., on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. Sanders has opened a 10-point lead over Joe Biden in the Democratic presidential primary, according to a national poll released Tuesday, highlighting how the former vice president's fourth-place showing in Iowa has reshaped the nomination fight.

The media’s alleged bias against socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in favor of establishment Democrats has apparently pushed one voter into his camp.

On Tuesday, as the New Hampshire primaries kicked off, MSNBC’s Ari Melber found himself in a rather uncomfortable situation when a Bernie Supporter told him that his network’s unfair treatment of the senator convinced her to vote for him.

“I want to say, the reason I went for Bernie is MSNBC,” the woman said.

“Go on,” Melber responded.

“I think it is completely cynical to say that he has lost 50% of his vote from the last time when there were two candidates,” the woman continued. “Now there multiple, wonderful candidates that would be great candidates and people that we could unify behind.”

“The kind of ‘Stop Bernie’ cynicism that I heard from a number of people… It made me angry, so I said, ‘Bernie’s got my vote,'” she added.

“This is such an interesting point,” Melber responded. “What you’re saying is, and we take criticism because we’re journalists, you’re saying that hearing from people, whether it’s guests, contributors, the conversations you’ve heard, that you felt were designed to tear down Senator Sanders, actually endeared him to you.

“Absolutely, I could have chosen several candidates, but that’s what pushed me over the edge for Bernie,” she concluded.

Though Sanders supporters have always suspected the bias against their beloved candidate, they saw it first-hand during the January debates when CNN moderator Abby Phillip asked him to address a recent report alleging that he told Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) back in 2018 that a woman could not win the presidency against Donald Trump.

“So, Senator Sanders, I do want to be clear here, you’re saying that you never told Senator Warren that a woman could not win the election?” Phillip asked the Vermont senator.

“That is correct,” Sanders replied.

Phillip then proceeded to ask Warren how she felt during her conversation with Bernie as if the story were clearly true.

“Senator Warren, what did you think when Senator Sanders told you a woman could not win the election?” asked Phillip, tacitly painting Sanders as a liar.

Following that gross display of media malfeasance, ABC’s Mathew Dowd took to Twitter to imply that Bernie Sanders is a sexist for running against women, thereby potentially keeping them out of the presidency.

“You know one clear way to demonstrate that you believe a woman can and should be president? Don’t try to defeat a woman running for President,” Dowd tweeted.

Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who colluded with the DNC back in 2016 to sink Bernie’s campaign, has also been vocal in her dislike for him, urging voters to pick a candidate that doesn’t promise “the moon.”

“You’ve got to be responsible for what you say and what you say you’re going to do. We need to rebuild trust in our fellow Americans, and in our institutions,” Hillary told Ellen Degeneres last week. “And if you promise the moon and you can’t deliver the moon, then that is going to be one more indicator of how we just can’t trust each other.”
