Daily Wire host Matt Walsh said Friday morning that there are three women vying for the title of worst wife in America: Gisele Fetterman, Jill Biden, and Meghan Markle.
The “Matt Walsh Show” podcast ripped into the “unholy trinity” after Senator John Fetterman (D-PA), husband to Gisele Barreto Fetterman, was hospitalized for depression. Many have expressed concern Gisele was encouraging her husband to run for office when he should have been recovering from the stroke he suffered days before the Democratic Senate primary.
“What an awful wife John Fetterman has that she didn’t sit him down when he had his stroke and say, ‘you can’t do this,’” Walsh said.
“She wanted to be the wife of a senator, and she probably has in mind that if and when he’s forced to step down, maybe she’ll get to take that spot,” he said. “Because obviously, John Fetterman is not going to make it through a whole term as senator.”

Fetterman will reportedly be hospitalized for a few weeks, which comes after he was recommended for inpatient care by the attending physician of the U.S. Congress. In a statement, Gisele Fetterman said she was proud of her husband for getting the care that he needs, saying it took a lot for him to speak up about something he wouldn’t have wanted to talk about.
Walsh went on to call Gisele one of America’s worst wives, a title reserved for those who “push their husbands” into “humiliating and self-destructive situations” for their own ambition.
“I think if you were to make like the unholy trinity of worst wives in America, it’s like Fetterman, Jill Biden, and Meghan Markle,” Walsh said, adding, “they’re jostling for position in that number one spot.”
Jill Biden and Meghan Markle have both taken heat for their marriages; Biden for not discouraging her husband from running for office as he advances in age, and Markle for the perception that she is responsible for cutting her husband off from his family.
