CNN Guest Mocks Brutally Assaulted Trump Supporter: ‘Oh My Goodness, Poor White People!’

In the latest news in leftist “tolerance,” Democratic strategist and former Bernie Sanders press secretary Symone Sanders hit the CNN airwaves on Monday to mock a white man who was viciously attacked by a Chicago mob for voting for President-elect Donald Trump. Sanders went even further to justify violence from fellow leftists, explaining: “We can’t call for people to be peaceful when the rhetoric that has been used is not peaceful, when people don’t feel peaceful in their home.”

CNN anchor Kate Bolduan did not rebut Sanders’ despicable remarks, nor make a mere note of them. She instead opted to further question the other CNN guest, Carl Higbie, a Trump supporter. Go figure.

Although President-elect Trump condemned any and all acts of violence from his supporters via an interview taped on Friday, and President Obama and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have yet to do so on their part, Sanders decided to take Trump to task for the “audacity” of…condemning violence while being white?

“The audacity of privileged white people to sit on national television and question if hate crimes are happening, to just flippantly say ‘stop it, it’s not okay,’ and not put any action behind those words, it’s appalling to me. It’s actually appalling,” said Sanders.

Higbie rightfully retorted that there has been much violence coming from the left in the form of riots disguised as protests, which both Hillary and Obama have ignored.

“I’m sorry, hate crimes and protesting are not the same things…” Sanders responded, dismissing reports of assault against Trump supporters, arson and destruction of private property committed by those on her side of the aisle. “A hate crime is a crime that is committed against somebody because of their religion, because of what they look like, because of their sexual orientation. That’s not the same thing as protesting,” she said.

“Oh my goodness, poor white people! Please.”

“What do you say to the people who dragged a poor white guy out of a car and beat him?” asked Higbie, noting a hate crime committed against a white Trump supporter.

“Oh my goodness, poor white people! Please,” Sanders disgustingly mocked. “Oh my–stop. Stop, Carl.”

“That’s not protesting!” Higbie responded. “Dragging someone out of their car are beating them is not protesting.”

Sanders nonsensically replied by stating that “[t]here has never been an acceptable form of protest,” before condoning violence by leftists: “We can’t call for people to be peaceful when the rhetoric that has been used is not peaceful, when people don’t feel peaceful in their home,” she said.

Did you catch that? It’s okay to be violent if words “offend” you, per Sanders.
