But what about desperate people, like congressional Democrats, who were already pathological liars even before desperation set in? Well, then all bets are off. And that brings us to the &#8220;sexual misconduct&#8221; <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/a-sexual-misconduct-allegation-against-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaugh-stirs-tension-among-democrats-in-congress">allegation</a> against Brett Kavanaugh.</p>
