New video emerged Wednesday from inside the Florida gym where rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was attacked this week that showed the alleged assailants entering the facility and making a beeline to a locker room where the rapper was located.
TMZ reported that the incident happened at an LA Fitness when several guys attacked him, according to his attorney. Video of the incident showed at least two larger men kicking the rapper while he laid on the ground trying to protect himself.

Another video clip showed the immediate aftermath of the attack as the rapper left the locker room with a bloodied face.
Gym staff heard the fight happening and immediately called for help and alerted first responders. The rapper was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

TMZ obtained a photo of the rapper at the hospital that showed significant injuries on his face. He also sustained injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
The attorney says that he contacted federal law enforcement officials to make sure that his client gets the protection that he needs after he was granted early release from prison where he was serving time on racketeering charges.
He was granted early release after his alleged cooperation with law enforcement officials led to several gang members from the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods being incarcerated. The gang distributed fentanyl and committed “brazen acts of violence.”
Federal law enforcement warned him days before he was arrested in 2018 that his life was in danger after several of his associates that he fired were caught on a wire saying that they wanted to “super-violate” him, according to the Daily Beast.
The rapper credits federal law enforcement officials with helping him escape gang life.
