This week Vice Media Group announced their 2022-23 programming lineup. Upcoming shows include offerings which focus on social issues ranging from trans acceptance to climate change.

These shows include “Transnational,” described as, “the first-of-its-kind series made by and centered around trans and queer voices.” It was nominated for a Peabody Award and will be returning for a second season.

There’s also “Planet A,” which explores “looking at solutions to climate change and environmental degradation.” “Breaking the Vote” is also on the docket. This video series will be focused on “looking at attempts to rig the 2022 election.”

Deadline reported that Vice was building “trust” with their audience through “eye-level reporting on everything from conflict zones to the issues that matter most to young people today— from LGBTQI+ and social justice issues to the future of work and technology in their lives.”

“This year we are making bigger bets and we’re responding to what our audiences have asked for,” Nancy Dubuc, CEO of VICE Media Group said, according to the publication.

“We continue to go places others can’t and won’t. Our credibility and authenticity with global emerging youth and established millennials is unmatched— and we have the track record to prove it. Our diverse and dynamic house of brands tailors creative experiences to the people that move culture and business.”

This type of expressly targeted programming is a big part of why The Daily Wire is so focused on reclaiming the culture with entertainment programming. Following Disney’s response to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill, The Daily Wire’s co-CEO Jeremy Boreing announced plans to launch children’s content that will stand in stark opposition to the leftist agenda.

Boreing said during a town hall that the company will “invest a minimum of $100 million over the next three years into a line of live-action and animated children’s entertainment on its streaming platform.”

The content will be available to Daily Wire subscribers starting in the Spring of 2023.

“Americans are tired of giving their money to woke corporations who hate them,” Boreing said. “They’re tired of giving their money to woke media companies who want to indoctrinate their children with radical race and gender theory. But they want to do more than just cancel them. They want alternatives. The Daily Wire is giving them those alternatives.”

It’s not just kids content coming to The Daily Wire. The company also released three feature-length films with two more set to release over the next four months, including the highly anticipated “Terror on the Prairie” with Gina Carano this summer.

Other entertainment content coming up includes documentaries, books, products, and much more as The Daily Wire fights to take back the culture.

(Disclosure: The Daily Wire has announced plans for kids entertainment content.)
