Kate Middleton is once again “feeling broody” after hanging out with adorable youngsters, which will no doubt start pregnancy rumors for the popular British royal all over again.

Heir to the British throne Prince William and his wife Kate already have three children: Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6), and Prince Louis (3). The couple has indicated they don’t plan on having any more, especially considering the extreme physical difficulties for Kate. The Duchess suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe vomiting, during all three pregnancies so far.

However, this reality doesn’t stop Kate from getting wistful when she’s around small children. The duchess visited the University of Copenhagen to learn from researchers running the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project, which seeks to increase the mental wellbeing of and relationships between infants and their parents, People reported. Kate got to meet with parents and their babies there.

“It makes me very broody,” Kate said during the event. “William always worries about me meeting under one-year-olds. I come home saying, ‘Let’s have another one.'”

Just a month ago, Prince William was making jokes about the same thing. While meeting with citizens in Lancashire, the royal heir quipped, “Don’t give my wife any more ideas!” while Kate posed with a cute baby girl. Then he joked, “Don’t take her with you,” as the duchess handed the baby back to her parents.

And that word “broody” has come up before for Kate. The term is the British equivalent of having baby fever. In 2019, Kate, 40, admitted to feeling “broody” while visiting with a 5-month-old baby in Northern Ireland.

But when the baby’s father asked, “Baby number four?” Kate replied, “I think William would be a little worried.” This likely refers to how sick the duchess gets while pregnant.

Meanwhile, William’s brother Prince Harry has already said he’s only planning to have two children due to overpopulation concerns. Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, quit their jobs as senior working royals and moved to California to pursue a life of “privacy.” The couple had one child when Harry met with famed conservationist Jane Goodall.

The Duke of Sussex was discussing how his perspective shifted since becoming a father. “It does make it different,” he said, explaining how he “always had a connection and a love for nature” plus “always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children.”

“Not too many!” Goodall said while laughing.

“Two, maximum!” Harry replied. “But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.”

Unlike his brother, Prince William has never vocalized how many children he plans on having. His grandmother Queen Elizabeth had four kids, so larger families for royals certainly aren’t out of the question.
