<p>Trump VP pick <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jd-vance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">JD Vance</a> mocked VP Kamala Harris on Friday over both her poor job as the Biden administration&#8217;s &#8220;border czar&#8221; and her continued refusal to take real questions from reporters.</p>
<p>&#8220;If we could convince Kamala Harris that illegal aliens are actually journalists trying to ask her questions she&#8217;d build that border wall in five seconds,&#8221; Vance posted to X.</p>
<p>In a matter of hours, the post has been viewed more than 2 million times.</p>

<p>Notably, Harris, the Democrats&#8217; effective 2024 presidential nominee, has <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/harris-has-not-spoken-border-patrol-chief-despite-ongoing-migrant-crisis-root-causes-push">reportedly</a> never spoken to either Border Patrol chief during her tenure as VP and did not actually visit the border until June of 2021.</p>
<p>NBC News host Lester Holt famously confronted Harris about why she hadn’t made her way down to the border. “We are going to the border,&#8221; Harris insisted. &#8220;We’ve been to the border. This whole thing about the border – we’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”</p>
<p>“<i>You</i> haven’t been to the border,” Holt responded. “And I haven’t been to Europe,” Harris answered.</p>

<p>Vance has routinely criticized Harris for the Biden administration&#8217;s border crisis. Earlier this month, Vance posted to X, &#8220;Our border czar Kamala Harris opened up the border by design. Now real people are suffering.&#8221;</p>

<p>The Ohio senator&#8217;s comment captioned a video clip of Vance at the border, again taking on Harris. &#8220;They stopped deportations on Day One,&#8221; he says in the video. &#8220;They stopped construction of the border wall on Day One. &#8230; They reinstated catch-and-release and they stopped Remain-in-Mexico &#8230; these policies cause real human beings to suffer.&#8221;</p>

<p>Vance&#8217;s post on Friday also went after Harris for refusing to speak to the press about her proposed policy agenda.</p>
<p>Notably, the VP staked out far-Left positions during her failed 2020 run. She voiced support for the controversial Green New Deal, said she&#8217;d issue a total ban on fracking, supported gun confiscation, and the elimination of private health insurance, for example.</p>
<p>Now, however, Harris&#8217; team has claimed she&#8217;s backed away from those positions and is moderate.</p>
