In response to the Trump administration’s announcement that the family of the accused terrorist who attacked a group of Jews in Colorado, was being deported, USA Today ran a piece bemoaning the fate of the suspect’s high-school daughter, who just graduated and said she wanted to be a doctor.
The USA Today piece, headlined “Boulder suspect’s daughter dreamed of studying medicine. Now she faces deportation,” says that her “life had been headed in a positive direction before the attack on the weekly demonstration in support of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.”
“Habiba Soliman moved to the U.S. hoping to study medicine,” author Michael Loria writes. “Then her father Mohamed Soliman was charged with a hate crime in an attack aimed at peaceful Jewish demonstrators.”

Any blame for the illegal immigrant terrorist who lit Jewish Americans on fire? She is not the victim here. https://t.co/bJ5Wu0Q0mv

Mohamed Soliman, 45, planned the vicious attack — in which he hurled Molotov cocktails at Jews at a pro-Israel rally, setting them afire and injuring 12 people while yelling “Free Palestine” — for a year but waited until his daughter graduated high school to carry it out. He was charged with 16 counts of attempted first-degree murder. Soliman reportedly told police he “wanted to kill all Zionist people and wished they were all dead.” Court documents added, “SOLIMAN stated he would do it (conduct an attack) again.”

According to the Department of Homeland Security, Soliman — born in Egypt — is in the U.S. illegally, entering the country in August 2022 on a B2 visa and filing for asylum in September 2022, eventually receiving a work permit that expired in March of this year. On Tuesday, the White House wrote on X, “JUST IN: The wife and five children of illegal alien Mohamed Soliman — the suspect in the antisemitic firebombing of Jewish Americans — have been captured and are now in ICE custody for expedited removal. THEY COULD BE DEPORTED AS EARLY AS TONIGHT.”

USA Today also found a way to target Elon Musk, writing:
The White House has taken to X to highlight the potential repercussions Mohamed Soliman’s wife and five children potentially face for his actions. “Six One-Way Tickets for Mohamed’s Wife and Five Kids. Final Boarding Call Coming Soon,” the White House said in a post on the Elon Musk platform.
USA Today added, “The family is not the first connected to a suspected criminal to face deportation under the administration of President Donald Trump,” referring to the brothers and roommate of Jose Antonio Ibarra, the murderer of nursing student Laken Riley.
