The decade's most triggering comedy
Danielle Jones, OB-GYN, scolded a woman on TikTok for daring to suggest that giving birth was an experience that was unique to women.
The video, shared by LibsofTikTok, began with a short clip of one woman talking about how childbirth was a uniquely feminine thing — and then another woman, wearing a lab coat that identified herself as obstetrician and gynecologist Danielle Jones, took over.
“Every patient who has a baby is not a woman… how dare you say that nobody who gives birth can be a man” – OBGYN pic.twitter.com/Xuca0bFTqk

The first woman said, “I assist women in labor, and the things that they are doing are uniquely feminine —”
Jones jumped in then, immediately attacking the other woman for not being “inclusive” in her language.
“So first off, as a doula, your job is to support the person giving birth,” she said. “If all of the patients that you have are women, then it’s totally fine for you to call them women. However, every patient who has a baby is not a woman.”
“As an OB-GYN, I care for many patients who are trans men or non-binary people who have babies,” she continued. “The point of inclusive language is not to misgender someone who is a woman or is a mother, it’s to appropriately include — especially in educations on large platforms like TikTok — anyone who might need the information.”
Jones went on to claim that it was especially egregious for the other woman to have posted her commentary during LGBTQ+ PRIDE month, adding, “So how dare you, during PRIDE month, come on this app, which is very inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community, and say that nobody who gives birth can be a man or a non-binary person. Just because you don’t care for these people or you don’t want to care for these people does not mean that they don’t exist and you don’t get to choose what they are called. They do. Do better.”

Critics were quick to rebut the doctor’s position, with @TRHLofficial (The RedHeaded Libertarian) leading the way. “These constant drills in insanity are meant to exhaust us into compliance. We disarm them by laughing in their faces, rejecting their language, dismissing their labels, and guarding our empathy from their exploitation. Their power is an illusion,” she wrote on Twitter.

“Call me crazy, but I think this person’s license to practice needs review. And maybe her college degree, too, since she obviously flunked basic biology,” another said.
“Watch with the sound off and look at the doctor’s eyes!” actor James Woods advised.
