<p>The United States is moving serious military assets near the Middle East as President Donald Trump continues to pummel Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen and has warned Iran that it must enter a nuclear deal in the next several weeks or else its nuclear program will be eliminated.</p>
<p>The War Zone <a href="https://www.twz.com/air/signs-u-s-massing-b-2-spirit-bombers-in-diego-garcia">reported</a> that multiple B-2 Spirit stealth heavy bombers were en route to the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia, an island in the British Indian Ocean Territory where the U.S. military has staged assets for attacks in the Middle East.</p>
<p>At least three B-2 bombers, three C-17 cargo planes, and 10 aerial refueling tankers were deployed to the strategic base over the last 48 hours, the report said. A fourth B-2 bomber appears to have also been en route to the base when it was forced to make an emergency landing in Hawaii.</p>
<p>The report said that additional information pointed to more B-2 bombers departed Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, where all of America&#8217;s B-2 bombers are located, earlier today and are now bound for Diego Garcia.</p>
<p>The report said that the deployment of the bombers was &#8220;a force package that is significantly larger&#8221; than any kind of routine deployment or training exercise.</p>
<p>The B-2 bomber is the only aircraft capable of carrying the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), the world&#8217;s most powerful bunker-buster bomb. The 30,000 pound is capable of penetrating up hundreds of feet of pure rock or concrete before detonating a massive 6,000-pound high-explosive warhead.</p>
<p>The MOP is the weapon that the U.S. and Israel would need to use to reach some of Iran&#8217;s underground nuclear weapon facilities that are buried under ground.</p>
<p>The move comes as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ordered two carrier strike groups to the Middle East last week, each of which has more firepower than most countries have.</p>
<p>There has also been a recent deployment of additional Air Force F-35A Joint Strike Fighters, an advanced fifth-generation stealth fighter, to the Middle East, the report said.</p>
