Fox News host Tucker Carlson reported on a billboard put up by YouTuber Tim Pool and Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing during his show Wednesday night, highlighting the hypocrisy of Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz and her treatment of the Libs of TikTok owner.
The billboard purchased by Pool and Boreing stated, “Hey WaPo, Democracy Dies in darkness. That’s why we’re shining a light on you,” as The Daily Wire previously reported. “The Washington Post and Taylor Lorenz Doxxed @libsoftiktok,” the Times Square billboard continued. “They included a link to private work details and an address listed as Libs’ private home. They lied about it so I got an ad in Times Square calling them out. Thanks to @JeremyDBoreing for the assist.”
Carlson showed a video of the ad scrolling on a screen in Times Square, stating, “So Tim Pool of YouTube fame with the help of The Daily Wire’s Jeremy Boreing just put up a billboard in Times Square highlighting what The Washington Post tried to do to the founder of Libs of TikTok. Now of course, as predicted, Taylor Lorenz says she’s the victim here.”

Lorenz took to Twitter after the billboard went up, writing, “This billboard is undeniably so idiotic it’s hilarious, but don’t forget these campaigns have a much darker and more vile side. I’m grateful to be at a newsroom that recognizes bad faith, politically motivated attacks and has a strong security team.”
Lorenz’s words come with a touch of irony as she has recently been criticized for “doxxing” the owner of Libs of TikTok, a popular Twitter account that shares videos of leftist teachers and LGBTQ activists. Last week, Lorenz named the owner of the Twitter account and shared her personal information by linking to her real estate documents in the original piece published by the Post.
Carlson was quick to shine light on the supposed hypocrisy of Lorenz. “So she exposes the Libs of TikTok owner to violence,” Carlson said, “But when you say her name, you’re a terrorist.”
The Post continues to defend their journalist. “Taylor Lorenz is a diligent and accomplished journalist whose reporting methods comport entirely with the Washington Post’s professional standards,” Senior Managing Editor Cameron Barr said in a statement.
Boreing also advertised in front of Harry’s Razors in New York last month after launching his own razor company Jeremy’s Razors. “The Jeremy’s Razors ads were positioned directly across the street from Harry’s headquarters in New York City,” The Daily Wire reported.
After the ads had gone up across from Harry’s headquarters, Jeremy’s Razors tweeted, “It must be a breath of fresh air to walk out of the @harrys HQ to see that beautiful salt and pepper beard.”
