A new <a href="https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/06/26/voting-patterns-in-the-2024-election/">Pew Research</a> poll indicates that President Trump gained ground with several unexpected groups in his historic comeback 2024 presidential victory.
Among Hispanic voters &#8212; who preferred former President Biden in 2020 over Trump by a whopping 25 percentage points, and preferred Hillary Clinton to Trump by an even wider margin in 2016 &#8212; Trump only trailed former Vice President Kamala Harris by three percentage points, going from 36% of Hispanic voters in 2020 to 48% in 2024.
Among black voters, Trump showed a significant increase, doubling his support from 8% in 2020 to 15% in 2024.
Trump drove turnout among both blacks and Hispanics in 2024. “Increased shares of Black voters who favored Trump were driven not by individuals shifting their preferences, but by changes in who turned out to vote,” Pew reported, adding, “9% of eligible Hispanic voters voted in 2020 but not in 2024, and these voters favored Biden in 2020 by roughly two-to-one (69% to 31%). By contrast, among Hispanic eligible voters who voted in 2024 but not in 2020, 60% voted for Trump in 2024 and 37% voted for Harris.”
In another significant change, voters ages 18 to 49 only preferred Harris by 7 percentage points in 2024; they had preferred Biden by 17 points in 2020.

Suburban voters only preferred Harris by 4 points, while in 2020, they preferred Biden by 10 points.
Trump showed strong gains with religious voters; Protestant support grew from a 19-point lead in 2020 to 26 points in 2024; Catholic support went from Biden and Trump splitting them evenly in 2020 to Trump posting a huge 12-point lead in 2024. Jewish support went up at least 4% from 2020 to 2024, <a href="https://www.rjchq.org/rjc_delivered_in_2024">according</a> to Associated Press/Fox, the highest percentage since George H.W. Bush in 1988.
Among naturalized citizens, in 2020, Biden led Trump 59%-38% in 2020, but in 2024, Trump got 57% of that vote.

Iran’s despotic theocratic government is trumpeting that they have arrested over 700 people and executed six accused of belonging to an “Israeli spy network” since Israel’s June 13 attack.
“Reports show men in prison jumpsuits confessing that they were recruited as Israeli spies, along with weapons they were supposedly planning to use. Analysts say the confessions are probably coerced, and an analysis of the images by the FRANCE 24 Observers team found no evidence of any Israeli-made weapons among the supposed seizures,” <a href="https://www.france24.com/en/middle-east/20250627-iran-arrests-seized-weapons-mossad-connection-israel">France 24</a> reported, adding that Iranian state media revealed at least six men accused of spying for Israel have been executed since the Israeli attack on June 13: Edris Ali, Azad Shojaei, Rasoul Ahmad Mohammad, Madjid Mossayebi, Esmaeil Fekri, and Mohammad Amin Shayesteh.
“In two instances where state media have presented images of these confiscated weapons, the photographs appear to be either fake or staged,” France 24 noted.
“So far, we have seen reports of the arrest of hundreds of people over alleged accusations of espionage, of cooperation with Israel,” Hussein Baoumi, the deputy regional director for the Middle East and North Africa at Amnesty International, told CNN on Thursday. “We have also seen the execution of at least six men since the 16th of June on similar accusations. To be absolutely clear, these are people that were — had trials that would run into about 10 minutes in front of revolutionary courts that lack any resemblance of fair trials and where the use of forced confessions is quite worried (sic).”
“What we are seeing really is a continuing of what the Iranian government and authorities have been doing for months, but also for decades and years,” he continued. “I mean, what we have been seeing is that this is a government that has been using arrests and executions to crack down on any sort of opposition. We have seen how the government have used arrests and executions against protesters in recent years. &#8230; This needs to be put in its own context, right, which is that this is a government that has lived under massive impunity for decades. Iranian officials feel empowered to do so because they do not expect any sort of retribution or any sort of being held accountable for their crimes.”

In Wake Of Israel-U.S. Attacks, Iran’s Regime Starts Executions, Mass Arrests

The Irish government, which has openly displayed its hatred for Israel in recent years, took another step targeting the Jewish state, becoming the first country in Europe to introduce legislation forbidding imports from the Biblical areas of Judea and Samaria.
Irish Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister and former Prime Minister Simon Harris introduced a bill titled the General Scheme of the Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Prohibition of Importation of Goods) Bill. It was passed by the Irish government and now must be approved by the Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade for Pre-Legislative Scrutiny, the Jerusalem Post <a href="https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/antisemitism/article-859160">reported</a>.
“The situation in Palestine remains a matter of deep public concern,” Harris declared. “I have made it consistently clear that this Government will use all levers at its disposal to address the horrifying situation on the ground and to contribute to long-term efforts to achieve a sustainable peace on the basis of the two-state solution.”
“Ireland is speaking up and speaking out against the genocidal activity in Gaza,” Harris told reporters, urging other countries to echo Ireland’s actions as he said, “every country must pull every lever at its disposal.”
Former Justice and Equality Minister and Defense Minister Alan Shatter ripped Harris on X, writing, “Only Simon Harris and our current government could be so foolish as to create the acronym PIGS to reference a new law that targets &amp; boycotts Jewish-produced goods. &#8230; The gov has now proudly published its own farcical version of the Occupied Territories Bill (OTB), the first time since the defeat of Nazi Germany that any European gov has promoted a law to specifically boycott Jewish produced goods &amp; criminalise those who import them.”

Last December, Gideon Sa’ar, Israel’s Foreign Minister, announced Israel would <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/12/15/europe/israel-ireland-embassy-closure-intl/index.html#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThe%20actions%20and%20antisemitic%20rhetoric,to%20a%20foreign%20ministry%20statement.">close its embassy</a> in Ireland, citing Ireland’s “extreme anti-Israel policies.”

Despite Harris’ protestations that Ireland’s government is not anti-Israel, the evidence suggests otherwise.
In February 2024, then-Taoiseach Leo Varadkar <a href="https://www.breakingnews.ie/israel-hamas/leo-varadkar-says-israel-has-become-blinded-by-rage-1588287.html">denounced</a> a possible Israeli operation into the Hamas stronghold in Rafah, saying it would be a “gross violation of international law on top of all the other violations of international law which Israel is responsible for.” He continued by ripping Israel for not bowing to the wishes of outsiders, saying, “It’s very, very clear to me though, that Israel is not listening to any country in the world, I don’t even think they’re listening to the Americans anymore. They have become blinded by rage.”
In May 2024, only days after Harris declared, “I abhor the actions of the Netanyahu government regarding what is happening in the Middle East,” Ireland officially <a href="https://www.algemeiner.com/2024/05/28/spain-norway-ireland-officially-recognize-palestinian-state-denmarks-parliament-rejects-proposal/">recognized</a> a “Palestinian state.” Harris stated, “The government recognizes Palestine as a sovereign and independent state and agreed to establish full diplomatic relations between Dublin and Ramallah. We had wanted to recognize Palestine at the end of a peace process. However, we have made this move alongside Spain and Norway to keep the miracle of peace alive.”
On November 7, the Irish parliament <a href="https://www.algemeiner.com/2024/11/07/irish-parliament-passes-motion-accusing-israel-genocide-gaza-dublins-hostility-jewish-state-mounts/">passed</a> a non-binding motion attacking Israel, stating, “genocide is being perpetrated before our eyes by Israel in Gaza.”
Ireland <a href="https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2024/12/11/738927/Ireland-formally-joins-South-African-genocide-case-Israel-ICJ">joined</a> South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Looking into the past, in 1996, Ireland finally permitted an Israeli embassy in its country; it was the <a href="https://www.npr.org/2024/03/14/1233395830/ireland-pro-palestinian">last country</a> in the European Union to open an Israeli embassy in its own country.
As far back as 1945, within days of Adolf Hitler’s suicide on April 30, 1945, Ireland’s Taoiseach Éamon de Valera <a href="https://historyireland.com/de-valera-hitler-the-visit-of-condolence-may-1945/">called on</a> Eduard Hempel, the Nazi minister to Ireland, to &#8220;express his condolences.&#8221; He <a href="https://www.jpost.com/opinion/article-761886">said</a>, “I certainly was not going to add to his [Hempel’s] humiliation in the hour of defeat.”

Ireland Becomes First European Country To Introduce Law Banning Imports From Israel

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Friday announced the Pentagon would rename a Navy ship from a gay icon to a World War II hero who gave his life to keep his ship operational during a major battle.
“I’m pleased to officially announce that the Department of the Navy is renaming the replenishment oil formally known as the USNS Harvey Milk to the USNS Oscar V. Peterson,” Hegseth said. “We are taking the politics out of ship-naming; we’re not renaming the ship to anything political; this is not about political activists, unlike the previous administration.”
“Instead, we’re renaming the ship after a United States Navy Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, as it should be,” he continued. “People want to be proud of the ship they’re sailing in, and so we’re renaming it after a chief, a navy chief, that during the battle of the Coral Sea in May 1942, Chief Watertender Peterson led a repair party on the U.S.S. Neosho. The ship was severely damaged by Japanese dive-bombers and the entire repair party was either killed or severely wounded. Peterson himself was gravely wounded, yet he managed to single-handedly close the bulkhead stop valves, thereby helping to keep the ship operational.”

Peterson suffered third-degree burns to his face, shoulders, arms, and hands after his actions on May 7, 1942; he died on May 13 at the age of 42 and was buried at sea. Peterson and his wife had two sons.

Hegseth Sinks Woke Symbolism: Ship Named After Gay Icon Renamed To Honor War Hero

Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic socialist candidate for mayor of New York, said on Thursday that he understood economics better than billionaire Bill Ackman, arguing that Ackman’s opposition to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies was bad for business.
In the wake of Mamdani’s victory Tuesday night in the Democratic primary over former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Ackman had stated of Mamdani on X:

Mamdani, 33, a state assemblyman who grew up the privileged son of “acclaimed Marxist scholar Mahmood Mamdani and Oscar-nominated film director Mira Nair,” as The Indypendent <a href="https://indypendent.org/2020/06/home-foreclosure-specialist-aims-to-take-the-fight-for-housing-racial-justice-from-astoria-to-albany/">reported</a>, attended Bowdoin College, where he <a href="https://nyassembly.gov/mem/Zohran-K-Mamdani">co-founded</a> the school&#8217;s chapter of the radical activist group, Students for Justice in Palestine. Ackman, by contrast, has invested in businesses so successfully that he is now <a href="https://www.forbes.com/profile/william-ackman/">worth</a> an estimated $9 billion. He is a signatory of The Giving Pledge, committing to donate at least 50% of his wealth by the end of his life to charitable causes. The resident of New York City was a lifelong Democrat who crossed the aisle to support President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
New York Democratic Mayor Eric Adams, who is running as an independent this mayoral election cycle, slammed Mamdani, <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/06/26/us-news/eric-adams-officially-kicks-off-nyc-mayoral-campaign-with-swipes-at-zohran-mamdani-blue-collar-or-silver-spoon/">saying</a>, “This election is a choice between a candidate with a blue collar and one with a soup silver spoon. A choice between dirty fingernails and manicured nails. &#8230; This is not a city where you use idealism to stake your giving everything to everyone for free. There&#8217;s no dignity in someone giving you everything for free. There&#8217;s dignity in giving you a job so you can provide for your family and the opportunities that you deserve. So, this is not a city of handouts. This is a city of hands up.”
Mamdani also issued a statement blasting President Trump, stating, “Zohran Mamdani will fight Trump&#8217;s attempts to gouge the working class, and deliver a city where everyone can afford a dignified life. Here&#8217;s how: Make NYC the Strongest Sanctuary City in the Country.”
After asserting his desire to “Get ICE out of all City facilities and end any cooperation,” the statement continued, “The Mamdani administration will:  Invest $165M in funding for immigration legal defense services . &#8230; Protect all personal data from other jurisdictions: The Mamdani administration will take seriously the threat Trump poses and will think expansively about ways to protect undocumented New Yorkers from deportation or other federal attacks.”

At a Thursday press conference with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, President Donald Trump’s top general, Dan “Razin’” Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke of the emotional moment when American pilots returned home to their loved ones following the strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, recalling “flags flying and tears flowing.”
“When the crews went to work on Friday, they kissed their loved ones goodbye, not knowing when or if they would be home,” he stated. “Late on Saturday night, their families became aware of what was happening, and on Sunday, when those jets returned&#8230;their families were there.
