<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">President Donald Trump ripped into Jill Biden for claiming former President Joe Biden had a stroke during the disastrous presidential debate that led to the end of his campaign. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trump said that the former first lady should have rushed to the debate stage to check on Biden if she really thought he had a stroke, as she </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jill-bidens-latest-stroke-claim-runs-into-one-big-problem?author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=3&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Jill+Biden%E2%80%99s+Latest+%E2%80%98Stroke%E2%80%99+Claim+Runs+Into+One+Big+Problem"><span style="font-weight: 400;">claimed</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> during a recent interview with CBS News. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Jill Biden is now out there finally admitting that she did NOT know what went wrong with Sleepy Joe during our spectacular, and highly rated, 2024 Presidential Debate, where Joe was not exactly performing to the highest level of debate standards,” Trump <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116657564100142546">posted</a> on Truth Social on Friday morning. “She said that she thought he was having a ‘stroke,’ and various other really bad things, and yet never rushed onto the stage to help her troubled husband, as any good wife would do.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the debate, Jill Biden frequently stumbled through his answers and struggled to appear coherent. At the time, his wife said that he did a “great job,” &#8220;answered every question,” and “knew all the facts.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Yet in a viral clip from her interview with CBS News, she claimed to have a very different reaction. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was frightened,” she said. “I had never, ever seen Joe like that before or since. When I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trump added that Jill Biden should have mentioned how well he performed during the debate. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The only thing she failed to mention was how well I was doing prior to his near total collapse. In other words, as many have asked, did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple ‘choke,’ leading to his ignominious defeat, or were other reasons the cause? Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!” Trump said. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Biden has received backlash from both Democrats and Republicans for her claims, with many commentators accusing her of lying. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pressure quickly mounted on Biden after the debate. He ended his campaign soon after, paving the way for former Vice President Kamala Harris to quickly lock up the Democrat nomination without any major opposition. </span></p>
