<p>WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump is considering selling the Tesla he bought from Elon Musk, The Daily Wire has learned.</p>
<p>Musk has repeatedly asked to meet with the president on Friday, a senior White House office said, following his very public and dramatic outburst on X on Thursday, when he repeatedly criticized the president and accused him of covering up the Jeffrey Epstein files to protect himself.</p>
<p>Trump, the official shared with The Daily Wire, is focused on getting the &#8220;One Big Beautiful Bill&#8221; passed and does not plan to speak with Musk on Friday. He&#8217;s also considering selling the red Tesla that he bought from Musk in March, when Tesla delivered five of its cars to the White House for Trump to inspect — which he did, with Musk by his side.</p>
<p>As of Friday morning, the Tesla is parked outside the White House. It is an all-wheel-drive red Model S Plaid that was previously listed on the Tesla website for $88,490.</p>

<p>POLITICO reported Thursday that White House aides were urging the president to avoid escalating the fight with Musk, urging the president to take a phone call from the billionaire CEO. During a phone call with ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl on Friday morning, Trump said that he was &#8220;not particularly&#8221; interested in talking to Elon.</p>
<p>The president also told CNN: “I won’t be speaking to [Musk] for a while I guess, but I wish him well.”</p>
<p>“I’m not even thinking about Elon,” Trump added. “He’s got a problem. The poor guy’s got a problem.”</p>

Trump Considers Selling His Tesla As Elon Musk Presses For Meeting

<p>WASHINGTON—As Elon Musk unleashed criticism on President Donald Trump on social media, accusing the president of shielding the Jeffrey Epstein files to protect himself, White House officials suggested that Musk was merely upset about the fallout from the reconciliation bill.</p>
<p>Musk and Trump&#8217;s feud escalated throughout the day on Thursday, reaching a fever pitch when Musk <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1930703865801810022">posted</a> on X: &#8220;Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1930703865801810022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">added,</a> saying in a follow-up post: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”</p>
<p>White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt characterized Musk&#8217;s statements as the billionaire&#8217;s reaction to not getting what he wanted in the reconciliation bill.</p>
<p>“This is an unfortunate episode from Elon,&#8221; Leavitt said in a statement to The Daily Wire, &#8220;who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The President is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again,&#8221; Leavitt added.</p>
<p>A White House source familiar with the day&#8217;s events pointed out that the Trump administration has already released the Epstein files that included the president&#8217;s name.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is not a new surprise Elon is uncovering,&#8221; the source shared. &#8220;Everyone already knew this.&#8221;</p>
<p>The White House source also questioned why he would work so closely with the president and say he &#8220;loves him as much as a straight man can love a straight man&#8221; if Musk really thought Trump had deeper ties to Epstein.</p>
<p>The president, who is <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/donald-trump-and-jeffrey-epstein-partied-together-then-an-oceanfront-palm-beach-mansion-came-between-them/2019/07/31/79f1d98c-aca0-11e9-a0c9-6d2d7818f3da_story.html">known to have banned Epstein from</a> his Mar-a-Lago resort, has denied any involvement with the late sex offender&#8217;s criminal acts. Some Epstein materials that have been made public mention social links between Trump and Epstein but show no evidence implicating the president in his wrongdoing.</p>
<p>Epstein died at the age of 66 in his New York City jail cell in August 2019 after being arrested on sex trafficking charges involving young girls and pleading not guilty. Despite high-profile theories that Epstein did not commit suicide, top officials in Trump’s FBI insist Epstein killed himself, and recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/clear-as-day-bongino-says-fbi-will-release-convincing-video-on-epsteins-death" target="_blank" rel="noopener">teased</a> the release of video proving this as fact.</p>
<p>Epstein&#8217;s cohort, Ghislaine Maxwell, is serving a 20-year prison sentence after she was found guilty of conspiring with Epstein to traffic and sexually abuse underage girls. She has since appealed the conviction.</p>

White House Responds To Elon Musk Epstein Claims: ‘An Unfortunate Episode From Elon’

<p>WASHINGTON—The State Department is destroying $13 million worth of contraceptives, The Daily Wire has learned, in addition to saving nearly $31 million by canceling contraceptive orders placed by President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration.</p>
<p>The contraceptives — including everything from hormonal birth control pills to birth control implants — were set to be distributed abroad through the U.S. Agency for International Development. But the State Department now says the Biden administration purchased much of these contraceptives in violation of the Kemp-Kasten Amendment, which prevents U.S. funds from going to organizations that support or participate in programs of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization.</p>
<p class="p1">There were some interested buyers, a State Department official said, but they were deemed ineligible since they support organizations involved in coercive abortion and sterilization. Those buyers reportedly included the Gates Foundation, the Children&#8217;s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and the United Nations Population Fund. None of these organizations immediately responded to requests for comment.</p>
<p>A State Department official noted that it would cost the department several million dollars to sell the materials to other vendors, given that the department would have to rebrand some of these materials. Destroying the contraceptives, meanwhile, would cost taxpayers around $167,000, the official said. Doing so also avoids potential further violations of the Kemp-Kasten Amendment and ensures the materials don&#8217;t fall into the wrong hands — something that has happened before with USAID, according to the State Department.</p>
<p>The move is part of President Donald Trump&#8217;s January 2025 presidential directive that <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/memorandum-for-the-secretary-of-state-the-secretary-of-defense-the-secretary-of-health-and-human-services-the-administrator-of-the-united-states-for-international-development/">stops support</a> for organizations that are involved in coercive reproductive practices, according to a State Department memo shared with The Daily Wire. It is the Trump administration&#8217;s latest effort to curtail USAID, a once-sprawling operation that has been radically reined in and placed firmly under the auspices of the State Department.</p>
<p>An inventory of USAID-Funded Contraceptive Commodities held at a distribution center in Belgium shows that USAID had formerly funded millions of dollars&#8217; worth of birth control implants (including $3,850,540 for levonorgestrel rod implants and over $3,500,000 for etonogestrel rod implants).</p>
<p>USAID was also funding hundreds of thousands of dollars&#8217; worth of birth control pills, hormones, and IUDs, according to data reviewed by The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>The Belgian distribution center, Belgium RDC, was holding a total of $9,734,251 contraceptive commodities, and $3.4 million in commodities are still being held by its supplier, according to the State Department memo.</p>

<p><span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">WASHINGTON—The FBI has received dozens of tips over the past three days regarding surgical transgender procedures on children, The Daily Wire has learned. </span></p>
<p>The bureau took to social media Monday to ask Americans to report any evidence of medical professionals performing irreversible transgender procedures on minors. As of Thursday morning, the Daily Wire can first report, the FBI said it had received at least 100 tips.</p>
<p>The move comes as President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration scrutinizes the transgender medicine industry, which has long pushed &#8220;gender-affirming care&#8221; as &#8220;medically necessary&#8221; for those experiencing gender dysphoria — even children.</p>
<p>Erica Knight, an advisor to FBI Director Kash Patel and mother of three, told The Daily Wire that the bureau will &#8220;never stop fighting for our most vulnerable — our children.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;As a mother, I’m deeply grateful and proud to know the future of America’s kids is one rooted in safety, strength, and opportunity,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>Gender affirming care is a euphemism for transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers. Under President Joe Biden, the White House <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/white-house-early-trans-surgeries-hormones-are-crucial-for-kids-teens-who-identify-as-trans">claimed</a> that &#8220;early” transgender surgeries, hormone treatment, and affirmations were “crucial” for the health of kids and teens who identify as transgender and nonbinary.</p>
<p>&#8220;<span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">Help the FBI protect children,&#8221; the bureau posted on X Monday. </span><span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">&#8220;As the Attorney General has made clear, we will protect our children and hold accountable those who mutilate them under the guise of gender-affirming care.&#8221; </span></p>

<p>Trump made protecting children from transgender procedures a major part of his campaign. The issue brought together Americans across the cultural spectrum, united in the interest of protecting young people from decisions they could not reverse.</p>
<p>Commentators, lawmakers, people <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2022/01/24/transsexual-slams-planned-parenthood-aclu-womens-sports/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">who identify as transgender</a>, and people who have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/detransitioners-flood-social-media-with-testimony-photos-the-darkest-time-in-my-life" target="_blank" rel="noopener">attempted transitions</a> have expressed grave concerns about encouraging children or young people to explore transitions of any kind.</p>
<p>Chloe Cole attempted to transition as a teenager and underwent a double mastectomy in an attempt to become a boy. Cole has since <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/detransitioner-chloe-cole-transgender-supreme-court-case-means-everything-to-me">sued</a> the medical professionals who pushed her down this path, arguing that she could not properly consent to the procedures due to her age, her mental distress, and the ideological premises that the medical professionals presented her with.</p>

<p>The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-federal-trade-commission-is-setting-its-sights-on-transgender-procedures-on-kids?author=Mary+Margaret+Olohan&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=8&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=EXCLUSIVE%3A+Federal+Trade+Commission+Sets+Sights+On+Transgender+Procedures+On+Kids">reported last month</a> that the Federal Trade Commission is setting its sights on the industry pushing transgender medical procedures on minors, a potential major step in the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on radical gender ideology.</p>
<p>The FTC will hold a day-long workshop in July on transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers, according to an internal memo obtained by The Daily Wire. The purpose of the workshop is to build on President Trump’s executive order ending the federal government’s support for so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors.</p>
<p>While transgender advocates claim that performing transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blocker procedures on children will cause them to be less suicidal, the FTC memo notes that “a growing chorus of experts now publicly contradict these claims.&#8221; It also points out that the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals recently called transgender procedures “in truth still experimental.”</p>
<p>The president signed an <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/protecting-children-from-chemical-and-surgical-mutilation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">executive order</a> in January protecting children from irreversible gender transition procedures. The order describes the transgender procedures that doctors and activists have pushed upon children in recent years, and states that the United States will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the attempted gender transition of a child, promising that it will “rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.”</p>
<p>“Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions,” the order states. “This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.”</p>

EXCLUSIVE: FBI Receives Dozens Of Tips About Doctors, Hospitals Surgically Transitioning Minors

<p>WASHINGTON—A nationally recognized crime analyst says 2025 may see the lowest murder rate ever recorded, and the White House is touting the news as evidence of President Donald Trump&#8217;s tough-on-crime policies.</p>
<p>“Since President Trump took office, murder rates have plummeted across the entire United States,&#8221; White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement Tuesday morning.</p>
<p>&#8220;American families were promised their communities would be safer and President Trump swiftly delivered by vocally being tough on crime, unequivocally backing law enforcement, and standing firm on violent criminals being held to the fullest extent of the law,&#8221; she added.</p>
<p>Her remarks come after analyst Jeff Asher, <a href="https://www.ahdatalytics.com/about-us/">co-founder</a> of AH Datalytics, <a href="https://jasher.substack.com/p/how-2025-could-feature-the-lowest">found more than</a> a 20% decrease in murders from 2024, including murders down 31.6% in Baltimore, 34.5% in St. Louis, 36.8% in Cleveland, 63% in Denver, 30.6% in New Orleans, 26.8% in New York, and 23.7% in Chicago.</p>

<p>Asher hedges that the trend could &#8220;regress back towards a more normal rate of decline,&#8221; but he still argues that &#8220;it’s fairly clear that a decline in the direction we’re currently seeing would safely give 2025 the title of lowest US murder rate ever recorded.&#8221;</p>
<p>Rafael Mangual, a Manhattan Institute fellow and member of the Council on Criminal Justice, told The Daily Wire that there are a number of factors behind the drop in homicides, including &#8220;d<span style="font-weight: 400;">epopulation in urban America, more police activity across the country, an increase in the incarceration rate over the last couple of years, as well as the fact that, the homicide spikes and shooting spikes took a lot of would-be shooters off the street permanently.&#8221; </span></p>
<p>Homicide rates in the United States rose in 2020, peaked in 2021, and have steadily fallen since.</p>
<p>Trump has made fighting crime a major goal of his second term, particularly in Washington, D.C. Violent crime rose 33% in the nation&#8217;s capital in 2023, making it Washington&#8217;s <a href="https://thespectator.com/topic/donald-trump-move-fast-break-things-tactic-washington-dc-safer/">deadliest year</a> in two decades. Violent crime <a href="https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/violent-crime-dc-hits-30-year-low">dropped</a> 35% between 2023 and 2024, likely the result of the appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia deciding to ramp up prosecutions towards the end of his term.</p>
<p>On the campaign trail, Trump said he would &#8220;take over our horribly run” capital, a promise he delivered on in March, when he signed an <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/03/making-the-district-of-columbia-safe-and-beautiful/">executive order</a> creating the “D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force.&#8221; The task force is directed to combat crime and restore public order by clearing homeless encampments and cracking down on lower-level offenses like turnstile jumping and public urination.</p>
<p>But Trump&#8217;s efforts to restore public order have gone beyond Washington, as well. <p>Late last month, The Washington Post reported on &#8220;The mysterious drop in fentanyl seizures on the U.S.-Mexico border,&#8221; quickly drawing criticism from Republicans. On X, Texas Rep. Troy Nehls wrote that there was &#8220;nothing &#8216;mysterious&#8217; about the drop in fentanyl seizures at the southern border,&#8221; noting that &#8220;President Trump’s America First border security policies are working.&#8221;</p>

White House Touts Plummeting Murder Rates Under President Trump

<p>WASHINGTON—Republican Illinois Congresswoman Mary Miller will introduce a resolution on Tuesday declaring June as &#8220;Family Month,&#8221; a bid to reclaim the first month of summer from LGBTQ ideology, The Daily Wire can first report.</p>
<p>The resolution is supported by a number of parental rights advocacy groups, including Moms for America, the American Family Project, the Family Research Council, the Eagle Forum, and others. It&#8217;s co-sponsored by Republican Reps. Michael Cloud, Harriet Hageman, Barry Moore, Diana Harshbarger, Randy Weber, Troy Nehls, Mark Harris, and Michael Rulli.</p>
<p>&#8220;The American family is under relentless attack from a radical leftist agenda that seeks to erase truth, redefine marriage, and confuse our children,&#8221; Miller told The Daily Wire. &#8220;By recognizing June as Family Month, we reject the lie of &#8216;Pride&#8217; and instead honor God&#8217;s timeless and perfect design. If we truly want to restore our nation, we must stand united to protect and uphold the foundation upon which it was built — the family.&#8221;</p>
<p>The resolution comes amid heavy pushback against gender ideology from President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration. The president has enacted multiple executive orders banning transgender procedures for children, men in women&#8217;s sports and spaces, and inappropriate sexual or gender content in schools.</p>
<p>The Daily Wire first reported on Monday that the Education Department has declared June “Title IX Month” in recognition of the 53rd anniversary of the historic legislation’s passage, opting out of celebrating &#8220;Pride Month&#8221; as President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration had done.</p>
<p>Miller&#8217;s resolution is a strongly-worded repudiation of the ideological gender principles pushed by activists over the last decade. It describes the traditional nuclear family as &#8220;the foundation of a healthy society&#8221; and states that mothers and fathers &#8220;play a crucial and irreplaceable role in the upbringing of their children.&#8221;</p>
<p>It also states that the &#8220;best environment for children to thrive is a home with a married mother and father,&#8221; and it points to the high divorce rate in the United States and the rise in young people delaying or forgoing marriage and family, pointing out that &#8220;many tax and welfare policies encourage cohabitation and penalize couples for getting married.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;The birth rate in the United States has fallen below the replacement level needed to replenish the population and sustain the economy,&#8221; the resolution notes.</p>
<p>&#8220;The month of June was first declared as Pride Month by President Bill Clinton in 1999 and has been done so by Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, rejecting the importance of marriage and family,&#8221; the resolution reads, noting that since then, &#8220;Americans are inundated with perverse Pride Month displays and events throughout the month of June that denigrate the nuclear family.&#8221;</p>
<p>At the same time, the resolution argues, Americans who&#8221;hold to a traditional view of marriage and family are often disparaged,&#8221; and &#8220;the decline of marriage and family has corresponded to a rise in crime, drug abuse, and other social ills.&#8221;</p>
<p>The resolution quotes John Adams, who wrote to the Massachusetts Militia in October 1798 that ‘‘Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.&#8221;</p>
<p>American civilization depends on the &#8220;continuation of traditional marriage and family,&#8221; the resolution states. It calls for the House of Representatives to recognize the importance of the traditional nuclear family, the benefits of marriage to men, women, children, and society, and to no longer recognize June as Pride Month.</p>
