<p>WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump is calling on Democrats to end their demonization of law enforcement in the wake of a deadly shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Texas.</p>
<p>Twenty-nine-year-old Joshua John <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/two-injured-one-killed-in-shooting-at-dallas-ice-detention-center?topStoryPosition=undefined&amp;author=Jennie+Taer&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;row=1&amp;rowHeadline=Top+Stories&amp;rowType=Top+Stories&amp;title=At+Least+Two+Dead%2C+One+Wounded+In+Targeted+Attack+On+Dallas+ICE+Facility">opened fire on an ICE facility in Dallas</a> on Wednesday morning, killing two illegal immigrant detainees and injuring another, according to the Dallas Police Department. Authorities found &#8220;rounds&#8221; that contained messages that are &#8220;anti-ICE&#8221; near the shooter.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is despicable!&#8221; said Trump, who highlighted that the shooter wrote &#8220;anti-ICE&#8221; on his shell casings. &#8220;The Brave Men and Women of ICE are just trying to do their jobs, and remove the &#8216;WORST of the WORST&#8217; Criminals out of our Country, but they are facing an unprecedented increase in threats, violence, and attacks by Deranged Radical Leftists.&#8221;</p>
<p>The violence is directly correlated to the rhetoric of the Left, the president said.</p>
<p>&#8220;This violence is the result of the Radical Left Democrats constantly demonizing Law Enforcement, calling for ICE to be demolished, and comparing ICE Officers to &#8216;Nazis,'&#8221; Trump <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115261106680507707">argued</a>. &#8220;The continuing violence from Radical Left Terrorists, in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, must be stopped. ICE Officers, and other Brave Members of Law Enforcement, are under grave threat.&#8221;</p>
<p>Trump noted that he just declared ANTIFA a terrorist organization, and he promised that he will be signing an executive order this week to &#8220;dismantle these Domestic Terrorism Networks.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;I AM CALLING ON ALL DEMOCRATS TO STOP THIS RHETORIC AGAINST ICE AND AMERICA’S LAW ENFORCEMENT, RIGHT NOW!&#8221; the president wrote. &#8220;The Trump Administration is fully committed to backing Law Enforcement, Strong Borders, securing our Homeland, deporting Violent Illegal Criminals, and fully rooting out the Left Wing Domestic Terrorism that is terrorizing our Country.&#8221;</p>
<p>Vice President JD Vance similarly lit into liberal media on Wednesday over the attack, highlighting NBC News specifically for falsely reporting that immigration enforcement detained a 5-year-old autistic girl &#8220;in order to get to that girl&#8217;s father.&#8221; The outlet ultimately was forced to issue a correction, stating, &#8220;An earlier version of this article mischaracterized the activities of ICE agents in the video.&#8221;</p>
<p>“It turned out that story was a complete fabrication, it was a complete dishonest lie,&#8221; Vance said in remarks made in North Carolina. &#8220;But when you go around and lie about our law enforcement and you tell them that they’re mistreating five-year-old girls, what do you think is gonna happen?”</p>
<p>He also called out California Governor Gavin Newsom, who has repeatedly encouraged resistance to ICE and condemned immigration enforcement as Trump&#8217;s &#8220;private domestic army&#8221; only hours before the tragic shooting took place, saying that the “ICE issue is alarming beyond words.”</p>
<p>“People ask, ‘Well, is it authoritarianism [or are] you being hyperbolic?’&#8221; Newsom said. &#8220;Bullshit, we’re being hyperbolic. If you’re a black or brown community, it’s here in this country… These are not just authoritarian tendencies; these are authoritarian actions by an authoritarian government.&#8221;</p>
<p>“Here’s what happens when Democrats, like Gavin Newsom did, say that these people are part of an authoritarian government,” Vance continued. “When the left-wing media lies about what they’re doing, when they lie about who they’re arresting, when they lie about the actual job of law enforcement, what they’re doing is encouraging crazy people to go and commit violence.”</p>
<p>“You don’t have to agree with my immigration policies,&#8221; he said. &#8220;You don’t have to agree with Donald Trump’s immigration policies. But your political rhetoric encourages violence against our law enforcement, you can go straight to hell, and you have no place in the political conversation of the United States of America.”</p>
