<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart gave President Donald Trump a warm welcome on Friday as the president prepared to deliver an economic address at a rally supporting Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Without further ado, I’m grateful and honored and pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump,” Dart said. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After shaking Dart&#8217;s hand, Trump praised the Giants QB.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rockland County is part of Lawler’s swing district, the 17th Congressional District, which went blue for former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election despite electing a Republican congressman.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> According to new analysis from the<span data-subtree="aimfl,mfl"> </span><span class="" data-sfc-cp="" data-sfc-root="c" data-sfc-cb="" data-complete="true">National Journal House Power Rankings</span>, Lawler’s seat ranks as the “6th most vulnerable” Republican-held district in the House ahead of the midterms. Political strategists view the district as a potential deciding factor in the battle for House control. </span></p>
