Travis Kelce Reacts To His Coach’s Comments About Taylor Swift Being At The Games

Chiefs’ star Travis Kelce reacted to Kansas City head coach Andy Reid’s comments about Taylor Swift being at his games and said that when you get coach’s blessings, “you must be doing something right.”

During the Kansas City player’s weekly podcast “New Heights” with his brother — Eagles’ center Jason Kelce — Jason talked to his brother about a “Swift Stat” that came up during the game showing his brother plays incredibly well when Swift’s in attendance.

Jason shared the numbers that Kelce averages 99 yards a game when Taylor is in the stadium and when “left to his own devices,” the Chief’s player only averages 46.5 yards in the game, according to the network’s numbers.

He asked his brother if he was aware of this fact and Travis replied, with a huge grin, “How can I not be aware of this.”

The Philadelphia star noted that “Not only is social media noticing it, but it appears that Big Red [Coach Reid] is noticing it. Because he weighed in in his post-game press conference, he was asked about Travis’ big game and his response was ‘Kelce keeps getting better with time.'”

The podcast host added that the Chiefs’ coach also said, “Taylor can stay around all she wants.”

Smiling big, Travis replied, “I love Coach Reid, man, what a guy. What a guy. Listen, when you’re getting Big Red’s approval and blessings, you know you’re doing something right.”

Kelce and Swift made headlines recently after they were spotted Saturday, October 14, finally showing some public displays of affection, seemingly confirming the weeks of rumors that they were dating, Page Six noted.

The superstars were photographed and caught on video holding hands while out to dinner and on their way to a “Saturday Night Live” afterparty — after both shocked fans and made a surprise appearance on “SNL’s” first episode of the season.

In pictures that surfaced online after the Chiefs game against the Chargers on Sunday, October 22, Swift plants a kiss on Kelce while they are taking pictures in the locker room. However, both superstars have remained tightlipped about their apparent romance.
