Travis Kelce said he was “shocked” when he heard Taylor Swift change the lyrics to her song “Karma” — to include a lyric about him — when he was at her show in Buenos Aires on Saturday night.
During Kelce’s weekly podcast “New Heights” with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, the two discussed the Chiefs star’s recent trip to Swift’s “The Eras Tour” stop in Argentina.
“I went to down to Argentina and it was a whole bunch of fun,” Kelce said, calling the crowd “electric.”
The Eagles player then pressed his brother about how it feels “to be officially the guy on the Chiefs” after hearing Swift change the lyric to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”
“You mean ‘Karma?'” Travis replied. “Ya no, I had no clue. Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue. But definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me and blew me away.”
“I was like, ‘Oh, shhh! She really just said that! All right!'” he added.
Jason then picked on his brother, whom he said had left Taylor’s dad Scott “hanging” for a high five after video showed the singer’s dad wanting a high-five from the KC star — but Travis seemed to be overwhelmed by the song change, missing the chance to return it.
“Sorry, Mr. Swift!” Travis said. “I apologize big guy.”

Kelce and the “Shake It Off” hitmaker made headlines after they were spotted in mid-October finally showing some public displays of affection, seemingly confirming the weeks of rumors that they were dating, Page Six noted.
The superstars were photographed and caught on video holding hands while out to dinner and on their way to a “Saturday Night Live” afterparty — after both shocked fans and made a surprise appearance on “SNL’s” first episode of the season.
In pictures that surfaced online after the Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers last month, Swift plants a kiss on Kelce’s cheek while taking pictures in the locker room. Both have remained tight-lipped about their apparent relationship.
However, their dating status was all but confirmed over the weekend after video surfaced online showing the singer running into Kelce’s arms and kissing him after her show Saturday.
