<p><a href="https://www.trevoices.org">Scott Newgent</a>, the trans man whose heartbreaking and powerful interview in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com">The Daily Wire</a>&#8216;s groundbreaking new documentary &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/subscribe-v2">What is a Woman?</a>&#8221; exposes the lie that medically altering people&#8217;s biological sexes leads to happiness, says the film is helping with the healing process.</p>
<p>Newgent, who in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/subscribe-v2">the film</a> tells <a href="https://www.dailywire.com">The Daily Wire</a>&#8216;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/matt-walsh">Matt Walsh</a> how transitioning medically did not actually work and had devastating health consequences, is on a mission to stop the pro-trans community from hurting confused children. In a <a href="https://twitter.com/trevoices/status/1532772686040117248?s=21&amp;t=ardC9S0VJJv_woyG8lgWXw">heartfelt tweet storm</a> Friday, Newgent said positive reaction to the film is helping break through years of physical pain and emotional turmoil.</p>
<p>&#8220;I have been angry for so long about what medical transitioning has done to my health, the reckless disregard for children&#8217;s health, how pharma &amp; surgeons like Dr Curtis Crane are making millions butchering people without regard &amp; the LGBTQ allowing fetish flags to be the backbone of homosexuality,&#8221; Newgent wrote.</p>

<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been livid, walking through life with a swift, &#8216;f&#8212; you,&#8217; to everyone I felt was taking advantage of me or others stepping out of line, hurting others with no regard. All of these messages about my interview in the documentary, &#8216;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/subscribe-v2">What is a Woman?</a>&#8216; I believe it&#8217;s healing me in many ways. It feels like the earth opened up and said, &#8216;We see you; what happened to you is wrong; we see the pain.'&#8221;</p>

<p>Newgent, who told Walsh that despite multiple surgeries she cannot ever become a man, is dedicated to stopping the pro-trans community from chemically or surgically altering children. <a href="https://www.trevoices.org">TReVoices</a>, an organization Newgent founded, goes by the tagline, &#8220;Trans Adults &amp; Others SCREAMING To STOP Childhood Medical Transition.&#8221; Newgent accuses the medical and pharmaceutical communities of making an average of $1.3 million per transitioning child by &#8220;claiming they have a cure for puberty.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Parents, medical transition is not for children; it&#8217;s creating an illusion of the opposite gender for comfort,&#8221; Newgent wrote on the site&#8217;s home page. &#8220;Adults have the right to choose, but it doesn&#8217;t cure anything; it&#8217;s experimental, and it is not safe.&#8221;</p>
<p>The movie has given Newgent, a 48-year-old mother of three who attempted to transition at age 42, a bigger platform to get the message out.</p>
<p>“Scott Newgent is the hero of the film,&#8221; Walsh <a href="https://twitter.com/MattWalshBlog/status/1532392581568638978">said</a>. &#8220;Such a remarkable contrast between the raw openness and honesty in this interview and the evasiveness and defensiveness from the ‘experts’ I spoke to.&#8221;</p>
<p>While much of the reaction to &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/subscribe-v2">What is a Woman?</a>&#8221; has been predictably negative, with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/im-not-reviewing-a-film-by-a-bigot-film-critics-wont-even-watch-matt-walshs-what-is-a-woman">woke reviewers refusing to watch</a> it, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-daily-wire-comes-under-sustained-ddos-attack-intended-to-disrupt-premiere-of-what-is-a-woman">The Daily Wire coming under a cyber attack</a> during its premiere, and Leftists calling it &#8220;bigoted&#8221; to even ask the question that is the movie&#8217;s title, Newgent says people have sent messages of hope and support.</p>
<p>&#8220;&#8216;We are also so so proud of you for making a light through the darkness,'&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/trevoices/status/1532772688892149761?s=20&amp;t=1Yczc-pTc4Nb7gVVEKX8pQ">Newgent tweeted</a>, citing examples of  the online support. &#8220;&#8216;So proud of you, kiddo!'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;These kind words have connected and engulfed me like a mother holding her child, soothing a scraped knee,&#8221; Newgent wrote. &#8220;I didn&#8217;t know I needed that, but I guess I did.</p>
<p>&#8220;A sincere, non-politically charged, sincere thank you,&#8221; Newgent continued. &#8220;A heartfelt thank you to all of you. I am now healing, and it would not have happened without every incredible message from so many nurturing women and men. Men? Ya&#8217;ll have surprised me too!&#8221;</p>
