Actress Tori Spelling revealed the scary condition that landed her 14-year-old daughter in the hospital last week.
Spelling shared a photo of her daughter Stella last Wednesday, showing the teen girl wearing a face mask and a hospital gown and apparently hooked up to monitors. “The hits just keep on coming,” she captioned the photo, referencing a series of health issues that she and her family have dealt with in recent weeks.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress shared an update on Saturday, saying via her Instagram story that Stella was doing much better and been diagnosed with a hemiplegic migraine.
“I wanted to thank everyone for all the well-wishes for Stella. She is home and feeling much better,” Spelling wrote. “At the ER, she was diagnosed with a Hemiplegic Migraine. It’s a condition that affects one side of the body. Signs of a Hemiplegic Migraine attack are similar to what would be presented in a stroke, that typically includes sudden severe headache on one side of the brain, weakness, and numbness on one half of the body.”
“It can be terrifying if you don’t know what’s happening or about this type of migraine,” she continued. “As a migraine sufferer my entire life, I had no idea about this. Grateful to everyone at the ER. They were amazing and took great loving care of her.”
Spelling has expressed her frustrations over the health issues plaguing her family several times in recent weeks, noting that her son Beau, 5, seemed to pick up a new illness as soon as he got over the last one.
The actress herself landed in the hospital several weeks ago on December 21 after experiencing dizziness and shortness of breath.
“Here I am in [the] hospital since late last night,” Spelling wrote via a now-expired Instagram story published by US Weekly. “To all of you who gas lit me when you were told I [was] too sick to work, well here I am. How about next time [you] take someone at face value and show kindness instead of doubtfulness.”
“Remember, for people like me, NOT working is a nightmare. I’m a hustler and a workaholic. I always choose work,” she added, explaining that she had ultimately been admitted because her oxygen was low.
