Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady shut down any more speculation that he’s coming back to the NFL amid rumors that the star QB could “unretire” again soon.

The 45-year-old retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB took to Twitter on Tuesday and wrote to his three million followers, “Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter.”

Brady’s post included retweet of a post that read, “Tom Brady might not be ‘done after all’ with his playing in the NFL, according to @RichEisenShow who talked to people in Indy. ‘Folks are saying keep an eye on Miami.'”

The seven-time winning Super Bowl QB’s post comes after Eisen shared on the “Rich Eisen Show” that he’d heard a number of rumors at the recent NFL combine, not the least of which being that Brady “might not be done after all.”

“If Tua [Tagovailoa for the Dolphins] may not be ready to go and suddenly, there’s Tom Brady sitting in Florida, where his family is located and he can easily locate himself,” Eisen shared. “Keep an eye on that I was told by a couple of birdies at the Combine.”

Brady announced his retirement on February 1 in a now-viral video on Instagram. Days later, he officially filed his retirement papers.

In the social media post, he first thanked fans and everyone who helped him along the way, before he explained that he was retiring for good from the NFL after 23 seasons in the league.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” the NFL star shared, noting his previous retirement announcement on February 1, 2022, before changing his mind.
