Titleist goes woke. Apparently, golf balls are now political.

The Daily Wire went onto the Titleist website, clicked on “personalize” in the golf ball section, then typed in, “LET’S GO BRANDON!”
Here’s the message we got at the top, in red: “Sorry, one or more of the words you have chosen cannot be used. Please see our Terms and Conditions to learn more about what we will imprint.”
So, of course we headed over to the terms and conditions.
Under “products,” Titleist says this: “Acushnet Company reserves the right to reject orders for imprints on our products that may, in our sole discretion, be inconsistent with our company values or brand identity, including, but not limited to logos, designs and/or personalizations that are negative in nature, advocate violence or illegal activity, or are slurs, hateful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene or pornographic.”
And we tried to get in touch with reps from Titleist, but they didn’t respond to our emails.
“Let’s Go Brandon!” is a euphemism for “F*** Joe Biden,” a chant that has exploded across the U.S. in the last few months, with college football crowds booming out the refrain in unison as they gather by the thousands in huge stadiums.
“This holiday weekend, as the Old Row Sports Twitter account extensively documented, saw many appearances of both versions of the chant, ranging from that preferred by Christian conservatives at Jerry-Fallwell-founded Liberty University to the much-earthier version, including one spelled out on the type of sign normally seen at road-construction sites,” The Western Journal reported in October.
Here’s how the “Brandon” phrase was born. On October 2, an NBC sports reporter interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama after Brown scored his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win stated in a video that the crowd was chanting “Let’s go, Brandon!” when in reality they were chanting “F*** Joe Biden,” The Daily Wire reported.
The chant has been spreading ever since, and Outkick chronicled the explosion:

The big news this week with the “F–k Joe Biden” chant movement is that it has spread from college football and into the baseball community, where New Yorkers chanted “F–k Joe Biden” during Fox Sports’ weekend coverage of the Subway Series. Fans could be heard sending a message to Biden as ARod and Big Papi dissected the Yankees-Mets game.
On October 5, an irritated Biden reacted to a chilly reception in Michigan, where some 500 protesters gathered during his visit there, many holding signs that said “f*** Joe Biden” and “Stop the Spending.”
“Not withstanding some of the signs I saw coming in … that’s why 81 million Americans voted for me,” Biden said.
