Singer P!nk got personal in a series of tweets attacking Republicans on Sunday, lashing out in response to the Supreme Court’s Friday announcement overturning the landmark abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
The three-time Grammy winner addressed the issue earlier on Saturday, issuing an expletive-laden tweet encouraging anyone who opposed abortion to never listen to her music again — and apparently provoked a response.
“Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay persons business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F***ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F*** RIGHT OFF. We good?” she tweeted.

“Judging by album sales lately, I don’t think she has to worry about anyone listening to her music lol,” Kyle Lamb responded.
David Leatherwood added, “Attention ladies & gentleman: @Pink joins the ranks of FORMER gay icons who have officially lost their fucking minds- following close behind @Madonna @cher @BetteMidler @BarbraStreisand.”
“You still make music?” Ryan James Girdusky asked.
One woman even credited P!nk with helping to save her life when she was suicidal — but said she’d no longer listen if that was how the singer truly felt.
“Wow Alecia. Tell us how you really feel. I had a playlist when I was 17 that I would listen to when I was suicidal. Your song ‘Perfect’ was my favorite. Wore it out. It saved my life. But it’s fine. I wont listen to anymore since I dont think we should be killing humans,” she said.
The singer responded to the criticisms on Sunday, saying, “I think all of our nerves are collectively fried from so many years of racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. +pandemics, mass shootings, wars and the total lunacy, hypocrisy, ignorance of the GOP-it’s all a bit much. But we will stick together. Good will prevail over evil.”

She followed that with a personal attack leveled against those who had mocked her music career, adding, “And to all of you sad, old white men asking me if I still make music. I realize you’re out of touch- so ask your kids…. Oh wait- you can’t. They hate you.”

Critics responded to that tweet as well, claiming that no kids actually listened to P!nk anyway.
