The co-hosts of “The View” said the illegal aliens need to be “resettled elsewhere,” both in the world and across the United States before Joy Behar blamed illegal immigration on “global warming and climate change.”
During the Friday episode of the ABC daytime talk show, the hosts were discussing recent comments from Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams warning that the illegal immigration crisis would “destroy New York City” after he previously celebrated that NYC was a sanctuary city.
Behar asked the panel if Adams was right since there are about “100,000 migrants in New York City now and people keep coming.”
Sunny Hostin claimed many migrants are coming from “war-torn” places and she thought “this country with its big Statue of Liberty, ‘give me your weak’ and all of this is supposed to the country that accepts people,” and said she’s “disappointed in Mayor Adams.”

“This is not a federal problem,” Ana Navarro replied. “This is not an American problem. This is a regional problem. This is a world problem. What we need is legislation. We need cooperation with other countries… so not everybody comes to the United States.”
“They [illegal immigrants] need to be resettled elsewhere,” she added.
“They [migrants] need to spread out,” Sarah Haines interjected. “We have this massive country.”
“And it’s only gonna get worse with global warming and climate change because people can’t live in certain parts of this world,” Behar added, telling Adams, “well he wanted the job, so do your job, Mayor.”

During a recent town hall meeting, the NYC mayor warned that the waves of illegal immigrants being sent into the Democrat-controlled city were putting it on the verge of being destroyed and draining city resources.
“This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City,” Adams said. “We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month. One time we were just getting Venezuela. Now we getting Ecuador. Now we getting Russian-speaking coming through Mexico. Now we’re getting western Africa. Now we’re getting people from all over the globe that have made their minds up that they’re going to come through the southern part of the border and coming into New York City. And everyone is saying it’s New York City’s problem.”
“It’s gonna come to your neighborhoods. All of us are going to be impacted by this,” he added. “I said it last year when we had 15,000. I’m telling you now with 110,000. The city we knew, we’re about to lose.”
