ABC’s “The View” cut to a commercial break Monday during a live interview with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) after far-left activists in the crowd began protesting over climate matters which eventually turned into someone shouting obscenities at the lawmaker.
The protesters started shouting as Cruz began bringing up economist Milton Friedman’s explanation that the federal government causes inflation.
“Cover climate now!” the protesters began yelling. “Cover climate now!”
“We do cover climate,” one of the co-hosts fired back.
“Excuse me!” co-host Whoopi Goldberg shouted. “Excuse me! Ladies, ladies. Excuse us, let us do our job. Let us do our job. We hear what you have to say but you got to go!”

Moments later during the same segment, one of the protesters shouted at Cruz, “Hey!” before the audio immediately cut out.
Cruz looked up and started laughing at the person as the other co-hosts expressed shock at what was said.
A source in the audience told The Daily Wire that the protester yelled at Cruz, “F*** you, Ted Cruz!”
