A Texas abortionist is about to retire and he’s having trouble finding someone to replace him.
The abortionist, Bernard Rosenfeld, told PBS Houston, “I’ve talked to some doctors, but none of them are interested in the political consequences of providing abortions.”
Rosenfeld pointed the finger at pro-life protesters for his struggles of finding a replacement. PBS blamed regulations for drying up the supply of abortionists and abortion clinics.
Or it could be that more people are realizing that abortion is an inhumane, barbaric practice?
One of the best technological advances for the pro-life movement cause is the development of the ultrasound, which has resulted in some abortionists resigning and becoming converts to the pro-life movements. This is what happened to Joan Appleton, former head nurse at an abortion clinic in Washington, D.C.:
And I too had seen an ultrasound abortion. It was, we did first trimester, this was late first trimester, probably early second trimester, really, we could look to 13.7 weeks. Give or take. I can’t remember offhand what the specific problem was, but we wanted to do the abortion by ultrasound, to make sure that we did indeed get the entire, all the baby. The terminology was that we wanted to make sure we had the entire pregnancy. I handled the ultrasound while the doctor performed the procedure, and I directed him while I was watching the screen. I saw the baby pull away. I saw the baby open his mouth. I had seen Silent Scream a number of times, but it didn’t affect me – to me it was just more pro-life propaganda. But I couldn’t deny what I saw on the screen. After that procedure, I was shaking, literally, but managed to pull it together, and continue on with the day.
Pregnancy help centers have also proven to be a viable alternative to abortion clinics, as they provide all available options for dealing with pregnancies. In a survey conducted by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, both men and women overwhelmingly viewed abortion as the worst option:
The survey found 32 percent of women and 21 percent of men said they would recommend the woman have the baby and raise the child herself; 25 percent of both women and men would recommend adoption; 9 percent of women and 18 percent of men would recommend marrying the father and raising the child together; and only 6 percent of men and 4 percent of women would recommend abortion.
Nearly a third of both men and women declined to answer the question (perhaps because they favor the abortion option but were unwilling to say so), but the poll included no language that would have deterred a respondent from asserting a willingness to recommend an abortion provider. Moreover, similar numbers of self-described pro-choice and pro-life respondents indicated their experience at a pregnancy help center was a positive one.
Meanwhile, the butchery of abortionists has been exposed, with the reporting on Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s “house of horrors,” which included a staffer murdering a baby by “cutting its neck with scissors,” as well as the baby dismembering for profit practices of Planned Parenthood, which the Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro explains in this video:
Overall, abortion clinics are closing at a record pace in 2016 and abortions declined by 12 percent throughout the country in 2015.
Putting it all together leads to the conclusion that the value of respecting human life–even for the unborn– is starting to become restored throughout our society, which is a positive development for unborn babies everywhere and a negative development for abortionists like Rosenfeld.
