Former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign team released a memo on Tuesday blasting his GOP rival Nikki Haley and predicting “the end is near,” saying her campaign will conclude on Saturday when voters in her home state of South Carolina go to the polls.

The memo — addressed to “Interested Parties” and written by Trump campaign advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles — was released as Haley gave a “State of the Race” speech in Greenville, South Carolina, vowing to remain in the contest and saying that she feels “no need to kiss the ring” and has “no fear of Trump’s retribution.”

“Nikki Haley’s campaign ends Saturday, February 24th, fittingly, in her home state, rejected by those who know her best,” Team Trump’s memo began.

“Of course, like any wailing loser hell-bent on an alternative reality and refusing to come to grips with her imminent political mortality, we should expect more references to Kings and Coronations — even though the results of 5 elections overwhelmingly sent an unmistaken message: Nikki Haley doesn’t represent Republicans any more than Joe Biden does,” the memo added.

The former South Carolina governor, who served as U.S. ambassador to the U.N. under Trump, trails her former boss by 25 points in her home state, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average. Saturday’s South Carolina primary will take place a month after Trump cruised to victories in the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, defeating Haley by more than 30 points in Iowa and 11 points in New Hampshire.

Both Trump and Haley have ramped up their criticisms of each other in recent weeks. The former president recently brought up Haley’s husband, critiquing his absence from the campaign trail as he is deployed overseas with the National Guard, and Haley has slammed Trump’s rhetoric on Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin, especially following the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

In her “State of the Race” speech on Tuesday, Haley said that Trump is becoming “unstable,” and she teared up when she discussed her husband’s deployment. Haley added that the “political elite” are against her and want her to drop out of the race.

“I refuse to quit,” she said. “South Carolina will vote on Saturday. But on Sunday, I’ll still be running for President. I’m not going anywhere.”

The Trump campaign memo detailed the path to the Republican nomination, saying that even with the “most-generous model” for Haley, Trump will secure the nomination by March 19. The memo then went into “the next step for Team Trump,” which read:

  • Acknowledge that Nikki Haley is irrelevant and not newsworthy — and unworthy of said attention.
  • The Republican National Committee becomes one with the Donald J. Trump for President campaign.
  • Convention planning, fundraising, strategy, and state party tactics — including full coordination with the NRCC and the NRSC — begin in earnest.
  • The General Election begins (even though we have always known it started months ago) and the case to Fire Joe Biden is prosecuted.
