Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer highlighted a video this week from his accuser Lindsey Hill smiling in bed with the baseball player allegedly hours after the pair engaged in sex Hill says was not consensual.
A motion from Bauer to dismiss Hill’s lawsuit accusing the athlete of sexual assault includes the video of Hill and Bauer in bed. Hill appears in the 10-second video and slowly moves the camera toward a sleeping Bauer. She then moves the camera back on herself and smiles coyly.
“Hi. Just a friendly reminder that [Trevor Bauer] is 100% innocent,” one person captioned the now-viral video online.
“This was taken hours after I supposedly brutally assaulted this woman, when she claims she was terrified and desperate to get out of my house and in tremendous pain,” Bauer reacted to the post.

“Yesterday I filed a motion to dismiss Lindsey Hill’s counterclaim in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California Southern Division,” Bauer posted online. “You can read the response and view each of the four exhibits attached.”

Hill claimed last year that Bauer sexually assaulted her during their two sexual meet-ups that started as consensual sex, once in April 2021 and then a month later in May.
Bauer has denied his accuser’s allegations of wrongdoing and maintains the pair had consensual rough sex.
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office announced in February that no criminal charges would be pursued against Bauer after a months-long investigation into the accusations.
And in August of last year, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Dianna Gould-Saltman denied Hill’s petition for a restraining order.
Gould-Saltman said Hill’s alleged injuries were “terrible” and “under most circumstances, merely seeing photographs such as those would serve as a per se condemnation of the perpetrator of such injuries,” but added that the accuser “had objectively voiced consent to specific acts of rough sex, and the injuries she suffered could be viewed as a natural consequence of the acts to which she consented,” Law & Crime reported.
“Petitioner had and has the right to engage in any kind of sex as a consenting adult that she wants with another consenting adult,” the judge said. “She was not ambiguous about wanting rough sex in the parties’ first encounter and wanting rougher sex in the second encounter.”
Bauer, the judge added, “didn’t threaten her after they had engaged in sexual activity” or “coerce” her into the sexual activity.
According to court documents, Hill and Bauer met via Instagram in April last year. Hill said the pair started to engage in consensual sexual activity on April 21, 2021, but then claims Bauer choked her with her hair without her consent and she “lost consciousness.”
The pair’s second meet-up in May 2021 again included Hill losing consciousness, she claims.

“Trevor began punching my face,” she said of the sexual encounter. “This was the first punch I felt but it is very possible that Trevor had already been punching and scratching the right side of my face while I was unconscious.”
“Trevor then punched me hard with a closed fist to the left side of my jaw, the left side of my head, and both cheekbones,” Hill continued. “I remember this vividly and it was extremely startling and painful. I was absolutely frozen and terrified. I could not speak or move.”
“After punching me several times, he then flipped me back onto my stomach, and began choking me with hair,” she accused. “I lost consciousness again. I re-gained consciousness even more disoriented. I had a terrible pain behind both of my ears. I tasted blood in my mouth and felt that my lip was split open.”
“I then remember him putting me on my back again,” Hill said. “He opened my legs to expose my vagina and began punching me repeatedly in the vagina. I was crying and violently shaking. He then repeated over and over again ‘You’re safe, I’m here. You’re safe.’ I could not stop crying and shaking, and I couldn’t talk so he moved my body again by flipping me onto my stomach, moving my arms above me. He began scratching my back. He then whispered, ‘I would never do those things to you if it wasn’t sexually.'”
