<p>The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined, for now, to take up a case involving a Washington state high school football coach who was fired after praying silently following a game.</p>
<p>Coach Joe Kennedy asked the Supreme Court to reverse <a href="https://firstliberty.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/16-35801.pdf">a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision</a> that stated the school district had the right to fire him because students and fans could see him when he would take a knee and silently pray after games:</p>
