<p>Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) earned widespread praise from GOP and conservative figures for successfully shepherding the &#8220;One Big, Beautiful Bill&#8221; through the House last week, a legislative victory that bolsters President Donald Trump’s agenda.</p>
<p>The bill <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/house-passes-one-big-beautiful-bill-in-massive-win-for-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">passed</a> through a 215-214 vote, with just two Republicans breaking ranks and joining Democrats in opposing it. It comes after Johnson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/house-elects-mike-johnson-for-another-stint-as-speaker" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> re-election as House Speaker on the first ballot in January and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/house-passes-funding-patch-win-trump-speaker-johnson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">helped</a> avert a government shutdown in March. Working through a thin majority, Johnson’s ability to largely unify the House GOP has solidified his reputation as an effective leader.</p>
