Serial Rapist Was Deported FIVE Times, Tried to Set Victim on Fire

In yet another case of a multi-time deported criminal being arrested for a heinous crime, five-times deported illegal immigrant Nicodemo Coria-Gonzalez has admitted to picking up prostitutes and assaulting them. Upon arresting him in August for allegedly attempting to light a woman on fire, Austin police say they discovered he had sexually abused several women.

According to allegations, Coria-Gonzalez illegally entered the country six times before going on his sexual abuse rampage, which he told police was motivated by anger. He is currently being held on an immigration detainer without bond.

“In August, Coria-Gonzalez was arrested after a woman told police he tried to set her on fire,” reports CBS Austin. “While investigating, officers realized he had sexually assaulted several women in a secluded area off Ferguson Lane.”

As they looked further into his record, investigators found that he had managed to break enough laws to get deported a stunning five times.

Immigration specialist Thomas Esparza Jr. told CBS that Coria-Gonzalez isn’t the only dangerous criminal entering the country illegally.

“There’s bad, really bad people, who want to do us real harm who are coming at us from all different directions north, south, east and west,” he said. “If that guy came back, he came back to do us ill, but there’s not that many people who are able to come back that often and that successfully. That’s the kind of person that even immigration lawyers are going to say, ‘You know, he should be prosecuted.'”

So this is what it takes for immigration lawyers to recommend prosecution. Good to know.

“Five times deported and he’s still here?” Esparza said. “What did he do the first time to get himself deported? And why didn’t he learn after the second or the third or the fourth time? But already five times?! And he’s still back?! He’s a determined son of a gun, but at some point the dance is over and so, unfortunately, the dance is going to be over for him and he’s going to be in jail.”

Coria-Gonzalez’s “dance” resulted in the sexual assault of several women thanks to the lax immigration enforcement policies. Austin police say they believe there are more victims of Coria-Gonzalez who have not yet come forward.
