By a 49 to 43 vote, the Senate voted on Tuesday to censor Elizabeth Warren after she broke a rule by impugning a fellow senator, Alabama Sen Jeff Sessions, during his confirmation hearing. Warren has now lost her privileges to speak during Sessions’ confirmation debate.
The Senate’s rebuke of the far-left Massachusetts Democrat came in response to her race-baiting tactics aimed at Sessions. Warren pulled out a 30-year-old letter written by Martin Luther King Jr.’s widow Coretta Scott King opposing his nomination for federal judge claiming he had tried to suppress the black vote.
